Dasvedanya, Don’t Get Any on Ya!

| September 6, 2009

In the middle of the night, the White House announced that Van Jones, the Green Jobs adviser that didn’t know how to define a green job as of July, has resigned. This came about while the media was asleep at the switch (except for Glenn Beck and Jake Tapper) , and a mild-mannered blogger from the Midwest dug up some documents that Van Jones was another run-of-the-mill Truther. From Breitbart:

The matter surfaced after news reports of a derogatory comment Jones made in the past about Republicans, and separately, of Jones’ name appearing on a petition connected to the events surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. That 2004 petition had asked for congressional hearings and other investigations into whether high-level government officials had allowed the attacks to occur.

It’s frightening how much of the world still believes in this ridiculous 9/11 as an inside job conspiracy despite all evidence to the contrary. In the Bangkok ex-pat community alone, I have encountered many well-educated Europeans who actually believe this crap, which is both offensive and disturbing on many levels. For anyone who has spent time in California, it’s no surprise that there are people like Van Jones. But they have absolutely no place at the highest levels of government that would give 9/11 conspiracies legitimacy. This has nothing to do with being conservative or liberal, and it certainly doesn’t have anything to do with racism.

You just nailed it, Nixon. Educated doesn’t always equate to smart, or realistic.

Doing the Happy Dance, me! Made my Labor Day weekend. One down and many to go. Great work by the blogosphere and Glen Beck. MSM is now totally irrelevant, as if they haven’t been for years. CBS says “he took a bullet for the president.” IMO, a good metaphor.

ROK Drop

What I find interesting is how the MSM has been trying to create the narrative he quit because of the 9/11 claims and comments about Republicans without mentioning anything about Van Jones’ communist ties.

The only differences between Van Jones and the KKK is that the KKK hides its behind sheets.

Nixon, my only disagreement is that the State Run Media was not asleep at the switch. They made a conscious, planned decision to ignore everything about Van Jones. Except to moan now that he “took one” for the president. Pardon me, while I retch. He looted the taxpayer’s money to an unknown degree, while being the “green jobs czar”, and admitting that he didn’t even know what a green job was.
Any bets as to whether the SRM will now look into Cass Sunstein or any of the other “czars” of Dear Leader?

If anyone has watched Glenn Beck this week…Yikes! Jones is clearly a communist and out for social justice. The libs are going apeshit!

Huffpo used the words “Beck has his forst scalp” and rather than focus on the interviews and videos Jones has given to lay waste to his miserable marxist self, they are pissed at Beck!

You can’t make this stuff up. Jones said this:

In 1992, during the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, Jones was arrested and jailed for his role in the protest. He said of his time in prison, “I met all these young radical people of color – I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.’ I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary…”

The media, save for Beck ignored him and now they are out to make a martyr of him…I thought only muslims did that. My bad.
