Tenn. Homeowner Defends Son Being Held At Gunpoint, Shoots Intruders

Last week, a home invasion in Tennessee took a violent turn when two masked intruders were shot by the homeowner.The incident unfolded on a Friday evening in Murfreesboro, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
During their initial investigation, the police said the masked intruders broke in through the front door.
The homeowner, who has opted to remain anonymous, recounted his experience to WTVF-TV. He told them, “I heard my dog make like a noise like something was hurting, and I heard taser.”
He continued, “Then I heard my son holler out ‘Don’t shoot!’ so I knew something wasn’t right then, so I retrieved my gun and came out of my room, and that’s when I saw the intruder had the gun pointed at my son.”
Faced with an immediate threat, the homeowner took decisive action, opening fire and successfully neutralizing the intruders.

Pa. teen shot, killed during home invasion: reports
An 18-year-old was shot and killed following a home invasion in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, according to news reports.
The incident occurred along the 7500 block of Bennett Street at around 10:09 a.m., according to reports from WPXI and WTAE.
Police said a homeowner fired a gun at two intruders in his house. One of them was shot while the other person fled.
Police told WTAE that a dead body was found lying in the street near the house.
