Americans will not pay attention to Hunter Biden probes
The Republicans in the House want to investigate Hunter Biden’s questionable business interests related to Ukraine and to China. Joe Biden dismissed these concerns as Republicans making things up about the Biden family. Biden suggested that Americans simply would not be interested.

President Biden accused House Republicans investigating his disgraced son Hunter of trying to “make up things about my family” — and claimed that voters just won’t be interested in the probes.
In an interview with “PBS NewsHour” correspondent Judy Woodruff, Biden was asked how he planned to deal with the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into his son’s shady business interests in China and Ukraine.
“The public is not going to pay attention to that,” Biden, 80, insisted.
“They want these guys to do something. If the only thing they can do is make up things about my family, it’s not going to go very far.”
House Republicans have long promised to wield the power of their new majority to probe the president’s family — including whether Hunter and first brother James Biden used the family name to gain influence and wealth, and whether the president himself was compromised by their dealings.
Lawmakers on Wednesday grilled a trio of former Twitter executives who were involved in the platform’s censorship of The Post’s bombshell October 2020 stories on Hunter’s infamous laptop, which exposed emails tied to the first son’s business dealings.
The committee has also already requested financial information from the Treasury Department about financial transactions by Biden family members that were flagged as suspicious activity as the panel laid the groundwork for future public hearings.
Biden has long defended his son Hunter when it comes to claims of corruption, telling CNN’s Jake Tapper in October last year that he has “great confidence in my son.”
“I love him and he’s on the straight and narrow and he has been for a couple years now. And I’m just so proud of him,” Biden added, referring to Hunter’s history of substance abuse.

The GOP will be doing the Dems work to torpedo Biden. By the time his reelection campaign gets going the details of 2008-present corruption will be all over the place. The Dems will then slide Gavin Newsome in as a candidate. His platform will be make America just like California. The GOP platform will be he wants to make America like California.
I’d be more interested if I thought something (like, for example, criminal charges and jail time) would come of it, but I know this is nothing more than political theater.
The Republicans will pound the table and issue stern statements and demand documents and testimony and the Democrats will stonewall and even if a smoking gun emerges, the DOJ will refuse to prosecute and nothing will change.
And if the Republicans win the presidency and majorities in congress in 2024, or 2028 or whenever, it will be brushed under the rug as “old news” and still nothing will happen, and the criminals will continue doing what they’re doing with no fear of repercussions.
Heck, if the Republican politicians ever actually tried to end the corruption, how would they be able to cash in when it’s their turn at the trough?

I don’t blame elected Republicans or Democrats though, I blame we the people. We re-elect the same turds into the House every two years at rates above 85-90% on a regular basis…so we must like how the government is being run because we don’t do a goddamn thing to change it. So either we like it the way it is or we’re really fucking stupid these days as a society or worse, we simply don’t give a shit either way because our party affiliations matter more than our country to us now.
That latter part would mean George Washington was right about political parties ruining the nation…

Crack pipes are straight and narrow. Meth pipes have a bulb on the end. So which is it?
I’m pretty sure they’re interchangeable. This isn’t fine tobacco, whiskey, or brandy were the vessel you use to consume your pleasure makes a difference to maximize your sensory experience.
Crack is in rock form from what I have seen. Thus, the rock has to be dropped in that bowl on the end. That bowl or bulb must then be heated with a lighter. This causes the rock to give off the fumes, which are inhaled. The pipe hanging out of Hunter’s mouth in those laptop pics is a crack pipe.
Crackheads will improvise. They’ll do anything from taking the insides out of those clear, disposable Bic pens to cutting open a cigarillo or blunt to wrapping up a makeshift tube out of aluminum foil to smoke that shit. Same with meth heads.
Meth pipes ( bubble ) can be used to also smoke crack, but crack pipes ( straight glass tube w/ brillo at the end) can’t be used to smoke meth.

The MSM ( Leftist controlled ) media has done a fine job of concealing and obfuscating the story. If you only get your news from the tube and newspapers, you are in the dark about what is going on. And that’s the way they want it.

If the probes turned up verified video of Hunter smoking crack while doing a 3-some with Swallwell and Fang Fang, while packing crates full of classified documents go be sent toChina, it wouldn’t matter. Joe would just pardon him.

Democrats can steal, rape, and kill, and absolutely nothing will come out of it. No justice department will ever charge, regardless of being Democrat or Republican controlled.
This American is most definitely interested. It would change the phrase “political theater”, and many of our “betters” would be rightly worried about what or who would be exposed.
Let’s see what kind of stones the new Congress has. They stood up to McCarthy to get what they wanted, time to continue pressing McCarthy some more.

The reason I say that is we only need to look at who gets re-elected in this country to realize that both Republicans and Democrats re-elect their own liars over and over without hesitation. The incumbent re-election rate of 90% in this country is indicative of a largely apathetic and relatively uneducated general public. Few things in life are as easily predictable as the re-election of US Member of the House of Representatives…
An apathetic electorate where the Literacy Project has found 54% have the comprehension of a middle schooler isn’t an electorate interested in the deeper issues surrounding any corruption in government. They are too busy watching celebrity dipshits and burning their cities down over sports teams to be concerned about a president’s drug addled son’s shenanigans.
Nothing is going to happen as they lack the ability to get it into criminal court. Right now biden owns the fbi and doj so there will be nothing from them to get the asshat before a jury and open court where they can also get the “big guy” evidence admitted.
