Atlanta: Protesters call for ‘violence’ against police after shooting leaves 1 dead, officer injured
Police returned fire after a protester shot a Georgia State Patrol trooper, wearing a bulletproof vest, on Wednesday, the GBI said

By Lawrence Richard | Fox News
Protesters in Atlanta are calling for violence against police officers and law enforcement entities following a police-involved shooting on Wednesday that left a state trooper wounded and one man dead.

The Twitter account Scenes from the Atlanta Forest calls for a “Night of Rage” on Friday to enact “reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies,” according to a post.

“Consider this a call for reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies. On Friday, January 20th, wherever you are, you are invited to participate in a night of rage in order to honor the memory of our fallen comrade,” the group wrote on Twitter, in an apparent violation of the platform’s terms and conditions.

The account claims to be a part of Defend the Atlanta Forest, one of the multiple groups protesting in an area where the city is set to construct the new Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.

The Defenders of the Forest said in a statement to Fox News Digital that it is “a broad, diverse, decentralized movement to defend the Atlanta forest.” They went on to say they are only a “news aggregator for the movement” and “not affiliated” with Scenes from the Atlanta Forest.

In another Scenes from the Atlanta Forest tweet, posted several hours later, the group added: “The police will kill you if given the chance. Now is the time for bravery. Take care of each other. Be dangerous together.”

Gun Bunny sent us this before it became a call to arms by steely eyed ‘Defend the Atlanta Forest’ social justice howler monkeys. The turnout will be epic.

Youth ‘attempting to steal vehicle’ grazed by bullet as citizen intervenes, CMPD says

Mark Price
A person attempting to thwart a car theft fired one shot into the vehicle, grazing a juvenile behind the wheel, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say.

It happened about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the 100 block of Southwold Drive, police said in a news release. The neighborhood of single family homes is southwest of the intersection of South Tryon Street and Billy Graham Boulevard.

“Officers … responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with injury call for service, regarding a suspect attempting to steal a vehicle, with a person shot,” CMPD said.

“The preliminary investigation indicates a juvenile was attempting to steal a vehicle when a citizen intervened in the theft, and fired one shot into the vehicle. The juvenile sustained a non-life threatening graze wound from the gunshot.”

Medic ambulance took the juvenile to a hospital for treatment, officials said.

“Defenders of the Forest” may be a “decentralized movement” , but they all gather at a centralized location.
Just sayin’.
Especially when they have a call to arms for a Night Of Rage.
Time to go “decentralized” Rooftop Korean.

They were going to call it Kristallnaach, but some other progressive group beat them to the name.

That Colt Woodsman has the same lines as my High- Standard Victor .22

The original Browning Challenger/ Nomad/ Medalist series was designed by Browning’s grandson(s) and features some nice upgrades like adjustable sights attached to the barrel, not floating on the slide. Have to significantly upgrade the old Rugers to get them to shoot comparably. Later this series became the basis for the Buckmark series.

I used the .22 Victor in the Police El bullseye .22 rimfire matches after we did the Police El .38 Center fire Bullseye match. Used a S&W Mod.14 6 inch pencil barrel .38 with a Bomar rib on top to give it some weight and Bomar target sights. Most of the Brink’s guys on the team used the S&W .K-38 Combat Masterpiece .38 4 inch barrels with target sights.

Warren On Homicide holds that the individual within the mob shares the hazard of the mob. That is, the individual in the mob is a legitimate target of any defender when the mob endangers the life and/or limb of that defender.
If they want to engage in a “night of rage” and violence they are basically saying; “we are inviting you to shoot us down because we intend to kill you if you don’t.”

The pistol above is known as the “Elephant Ear Woodsman” because of the stock target grips. This was designed as a target pistol version of the Woodsman .22 cal. A limited number were produced, and thus, have quite a bit of collector value.

That vehicle owner will have to get some industrial-strength cleaner to get that brown stain out of the driver’s seat.

Atlanta didn’t have enough “mostly peaceful” protesters, so they brought in some ringers from out of town. Atl PD may have some slackards, but GSP doesn’t. Shooting at a GSP LEO is tantamount to suicide by stoopid.

Queen City used to be a nice place. Many a business trip there. Now it’s become Memphis East. Pavement predators are taking over.

I will Rise Up, Resist, and Rebel. I will live free, or die well.

Even Tack Drivers are worthy of the designs of HMS JMB (HBHN). It will be a glorious Festival Celebration.
