Doorcam footage captures man fighting off car thief from his sunroof
CNN affiliate WDSU spoke to a New Orleans man who fought off a car thief by climbing on top of his car and reaching in through the sunroof to try and wrestle the suspect out on Christmas Day.

Police: Homeowner fatally shot intruder in self-defense in St. Louis County

The man shot to death this week at a north St. Louis County home was an intruder who was killed in self-defense by the homeowner, police said Wednesday.The dead man was identified as Frank Campbell Jr., 43, of the 900 block of Pike Court in unincorporated St. Louis County.
Campbell’s family told the Post-Dispatch that Campbell apparently was intoxicated and wandered into the wrong apartment, thinking it was his, and was shot.
Campbell was fatally shot about 4:20 p.m.

I love that video. I never would have expected dude to go all Honey Badger on a couple of thugs stealing his car at first glance but people are getting fed up.
Fight back! Bring every weapon to bear…even if it’s a coffee cup…or a plasticized abomination. Wonder if the citizen fighting for his vehicle had left the key in it, or the pavement predator used an internet available theft device? If caught, the perp could be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

The New Orleans fellow should had his CC/LTC and been locked and loaded. I wouldn’t get in front of the vehicle though! Through the side glass as fast as I could pump ’em.

Shot to slidelock when thug turned his back, apparently including a headshot at the end. Gave folks back the money thug stole. Then drove off.
Might fly in Texas and maybe Mos Eisley Spaceport. Don’t try this elsewhere
