President Biden Repeats Claim that His Son Died in Iraq
Twice in a span of just a few weeks, President Biden claimed that his son Beau died in Iraq. This time, the claim was made during a speech in Florida on Tuesday.
While President Joe Biden was discussing the ongoing “war in Iraq,” he claimed it was where his late son Beau died.
His exact words were:
“Inflation is a worldwide problem right now because of a war in Iraq and the impact on oil and what Russia’s doing, excuse me, the war in Ukraine. I’m thinking of Iraq because that’s where my son died,”
Biden offered up the aside as an excuse for the verbal slip. Although Beau Biden served in Iraq, he did not die there. He died in 2015 at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Maryland after fighting brain cancer. He was 46.
A few weeks ago, during a speech in Colorado, President Biden made the same claim.

I believe this has to do with President Biden believing that Beau Biden’s brain cancer was possibly contributed to by exposure to military burn pits in Iraq. If that’s the case, it seems that to avoid any controversy Biden would do better by using the phrase “died as a result of his service in Iraq…”

It would be easier to blame senility, and that certainly is part of the problem here, but he’s been lying about how members of his immediate family died for years. All for political purposes. In his sundown years his broken brain is just reverting to the same lying tactics he’s used all his life.

He spent years slandering a dead man, saying that he drank his lunch and that was why he was in the fatal car accident that killed Biden’s wife and child. The problem is that the police said that alcohol was not a factor and that Biden’s wife had run a stop sign.
Biden has always been a pathological liar and embellisher, so this is no surprise.

Probably. Completed training/commisioning and made it to a unit. Came up hot on the piss test at his first drill and officially told about it, the confirmatory blood test, etc., etc. on the second, so he has “service” (albeit little). Likely got an Honorable separation (with re-enlistment bar on it) because that’d be quick, too.
Hunter Biden was too old to be commissioned when he was, but he magically got a waiver while his Daddy was VPOTUS. Happenstance? Coincidence?
He got a direct commission because of who his daddy was so he didn’t go to OCS. I don’t know that he was in long enough to get sent to any type of officer’s basic course for his duty assignment. It works a bit different in the reserve components compared to active duty. Probably given the chance to resign his commission “for the good of the service.” Point being, he may not have enough time to be considered a veteran.
With all of the trouble it took to get waivers (age and prior drug use) to allow his direct commission, you would have thought that he would have laid off the coke until he could get the box checked as a military veteran to give his political aspirations some traction, but Hunter is gonna Hunter.
Currently it is 24 months or time cut short by a combat deployment wound. I have an old friend I went to High School with who was awarded the Purple Heart in Panama that falls in the later category. He joined after I did and was out well before I finished my enlistment.

And I call bullshit on anyone claiming exposure to Agent Orange who did a float on a boat in the South China Sea. The defoliant was sprayed by the Air Force, not the Navy. There weren’t carrier-based aircraft spraying the stuff. I have peripheral neuropathy which may have been caused by my exposure, but I spent over a week moving through jungle that had been sprayed with a defoliant. Everything that was supposed to be green was brown. Shortly thereafter, I noticed that the scratches on my forearms didn’t heal like they had in the past. Instead, they became infected with jungle rot.

If Agent Orange caused all that, I must have been swimming in it my entire tour. Every time I spent time in the jungle (as opposed to paddies & foothills), I rotted; even without being scratched.
How did you avoid being scratched? In every jungle AO I trudged through there seemed to be thorns on every third plant or bush. Plus, there were the razor sharp leaves of the elephant grass. I don’t know if there was causation with the defoliant; it was likely just a coincidence. The only thing that cured my jungle rot was not living in the jungle. Still have the faint scars on the backs of my hands. I even had a couple of men that had it so bad we sent them back to the fire base or the rear.
