Alleged rapist in custody after victim shoots him following attack

Shelby Banks
A man has been arrested after Tulsa police say his alleged victim shot him in the foot.

Officers responded to a shooting Sunday afternoon near MLK Boulevard and E. 56th Street N. When they arrived, officers found Wilfredo Gomez with a gunshot wound.

While Gomez was taken to the hospital, police received another call from a woman who said she was involved in the shooting but left because she was scared for her life.

She also said she was raped.

The woman said Gomez came to her house, forced his way inside, and raped her. The woman has a protective order against Gomez.

After the attack, the victim grabbed a gun and shot Gomez.

Amazing she got a hit, considering she was just assaulted.

Suspect in hospital, Boulder officer on paid leave after University Hill shooting

Daily Camera, Boulder, Colo.
A suspect is in the hospital and an officer has been placed on leave after an early Sunday morning shooting on Boulder’s University Hill.

Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold said in a Sunday morning briefing that two officers were in an alley in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue while responding to a disturbance call for loud noise. At 1:27 a.m., dispatch alerted them to shots fired in the area.

As the officers came running out of the alley onto Pennsylvania Avenue, they saw a suspect firing a weapon, Herold said. She was not able to specify who the suspect was shooting at.

One of the officers opened fire, hitting the suspect. Two other people ran away, and neither officer was injured.

“We were very lucky there wasn’t a large crowd out, but there were people out,” Herold said, referencing the timing of the shooting.

Herold said investigators believe at least three weapons were involved in the shooting based on the casings found at the scene. She said officers are looking for more than one suspect, but she could not specify an exact number of suspects, citing the early stage of the investigation.

Not one for victim-blaming, BUT the writing has been on the wall for sometime now that The City is a prison/asylum hybrid.

Last time I was there (2020) I saw a loudmouthed, self-identified Puerto Rican woman intending to disturb some peace, get out the backseat of a vehicle which was then blocking traffic and the associated horn blowing that followed. Her lofty goal? To yell at the family of my fallen Brother, the alderman, and others gathered on the corner for a street naming dedication… because they were (mostly and presumptively) Dominican.

She, all almost 300 pounds of her, was under the impression that her people are underrepresented.

If someone would act like that in the light, what would they do ‘in the dark’?

It’s NYC…

Well, at the risk of sounding … well … unequity … the video does indicate that the perpetrators were women of color. Green color.

So which was more effective? The PO or the Pop-pop?

Well, in Boulder, if the perp was minority, and the officer wasn’t, the officer is toast.. They’re probably still in trouble for not being nice to the perp..

Boulder is a cancer that has metastasized to the rest of the state..

Probably all the failed printings and designs that couldn’t be built up and used for their intended purpose.
I think what he did was great. Thinking outside the box.
Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals” #3 & #4
#3 “Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
Obviously the po-po couldn’t tell a real gun from a plastic, printed, non-functional imitation.
#4 “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
Yep. The po-po said that they would take all comers, and this enterprising gent decided to both clean out his workplace AND get extra money for his failed printings at the same time.

LOVE IT!!

Hack needs to check all of the comments before posting. Once again, Hack is late to the dance. He went looking for the article about the guy turning in the used LAAW tube for a gift card, but had no luck. But he did find this one.

Me just wondering….

What is Ed going to do with all that popcorn when no one took his bait?

Do cinemas even do enough business nowadays to purchase his left-overs to resell at a 400% mark up?
