Fauci retiring (or is he?)

| July 19, 2022

Dr. Faust, er, Fauci, seemingly the nation’s oldest living civil servant at 81, said in an interview that while he is probably not ready to retire, he does not expect to continue as the chief medical adviser to the president and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He says there is a “finite element to his tenure”

Fauci said that he feels like he’s established a good system at NIAID to facilitate a smooth transition at the agency and wants to pursue other career opportunities once he eventually leaves.

Remembering interviews where the HR folks said “why did you stay in one place for so long?” I expect that after 50 years in the same job, his answer should be interesting when he does decide what he wants to do when he grows up. I am sure we can all take heart that NAID will continue on the same flawless path to which we have become accustomed through Covid.

I doubt it, he’s far too addicted to power to want to retire.

More likely addicted to the kickbacks. 😷

If by “good system in place” he means:
1- Create bad virus in Chinese lab
2- Release on world
3- Create useless vaccine to fight virus
4- ??????
5- Profit

It’s working great.

Deckie

I hope he does retire and fucking dies the next day.

81 yo, decades of slurping at the public trough, nice fat pension waiting, and bank account probably full of ill gotten $? Persue “other” career opportunities? As what, a token position at a fat salary on the Board of Big Pharma? Proof that he is just been there as a power mad, egotistical despot that wanted to make sure he had packed the place with his hand picked minions. Wonder who his handlers are?

Green Thumb

He should run for Congress.

Who announces their retirement 2.5 years away? I think this is a ploy to get people to back off of criticism of him during his remaining years. He also sees the writing on the wall and will not enjoy the liberties (meaning lack of administration criticism) that he enjoys now.

Orange jumpsuit. Take him to the river.
