Council candidate won’t be charged for shooting man
TACOMA, WASH.
Republican Pierce County Council candidate Josh Harris will not be charged with any crimes following a shooting in which Harris fired at a man driving a vehicle at him in Tacoma. The county prosecuting attorney’s office said that an investigation showed Harris acted in self defense, KING5 reported. The man who was shot will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident.
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office investigation found that on May 30, Harris was in a wooded area near a homeless camp looking for stolen property and found two suspected stolen vehicles. It wasn’t clear why Harris was looking for stolen property or what property he was specifically looking for in that area. He said a woman in a tent told him a man there knew of Harris and had threatened to kill him.
Police arrived, confirmed one vehicle was stolen and began walking to the wooded area. At that time, someone in the stolen vehicle drove up a path past the officers and Harris fired multiple rounds at the windshield, hitting the driver, according to the investigation findings.

Maryland Scraps ‘Good and Substantial Reason’ Requirement
by S.H. BLANNELBERRY
Maryland’s requirement that concealed carry applicants must provide to the state a “good and substantial reason” to bear arms in public is gone.Gov. Larry Hogan on Tuesday told state police that, in light of the Supreme Court’s recent decision striking down New York’s similarly restrictive requirement for handgun permits, they could no longer enforce it.
“Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a provision in New York law pertaining to handgun permitting that is virtually indistinguishable from Maryland law,” said the governor in a statement posted on the state government’s website.

AW1 Rod sends. I’ll claim victory, or at least vindication, for all the years of trying to make this happen.
Gun pR0n inspired by our own David. Lucky SOBs, all I got for similar duty was a 1911 and a rattly 870 pump.

If you’re planning on killing someone, do yourself a favor and don’t tell anyone of your plan.
“good and substantial” reason? see 2A, Constitution, US.
Wonder how many palms got greased to make sure that a designer piece of Tupperware was chosen to accesorize another useless fed.gov alphabet agency? We had no problem guarding our nukes with 1911s and our 870s were not rattly. Now the jeeps that toted the Pigs and Ma Deuces, they would shake rattle but still roll.
Maybe We, The People need to spread our discontent to the despotic tyrants that are using our $ to maintain their grip on power?
Under groomer objectives, is that cutie pie Ms Thang wearing the new “Catholic School Girl” Uniform?
Bitch, moan, complain, whine. You sound like an NFO just after the Flight Schedule is published.
But I am the happiest little dirt diggin’ doggie in the whole compond. Maybe that’s the reason(s) why?
Your Sunday Ms Thang is ALWAYS the music that soothes this savage beast and the salve that takes away the burn from the posting of a plasticized abomination instead of something that is Holy and Good. (HBHN)

Zev, meh. What a Glock would be if you wanted to spend another 1K.
IMO what a Glock would be if they listened to all the folks who keep the after market going. Kinda like the AR folks “dressing up” their rifles. There are two main complaints about the Glocks from the actual users, the sights and the triggers need upgrading. But the after market folks gotta eat too.
I don’t know why Josh Harris went looking for stolen property – whose or what property – so I cannot make a call on the wisdom of his action.
But he did call in the LEOs, and had a firearm.
That camp sounds like a good place to stay away from – or find stolen goods (and drugs). Pro’ly all (D)emon-rat voters.
As I read the article, I’m not even sure that Washington shoot was good. Sure didn’t sound like anyone was in danger.
Prep school outfit obviously in honor of those strong Catholics Joe and Nancy.
That is a very pretty goal shooting that rifle

Late to the party (camping over the weekend – some R&R).
But the young lady looks like she’s shooting a WWII PPSh-41 Soviet Subgun. And the photography style looks like it’s taken by Oleg Volk (should look up more of his pics sometime).
