Rittenhouse Secures Sandmann’s Lawyer, Moves Forward with Defamation Lawsuit

Kyle Rittenhouse

Kyle Rittenhouse, the man acquitted in the shootings in Kenosha, Wisconsin, announced on that he was working with Todd McMurtry, the lawyer who represented Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann in his defamation case against CNN, the Washington Post, and others after a video went viral involving Sandmann and a Native American activist.

Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer looks to target Facebook in defamation lawsuit

Saying he was inspired by Johnny Depp, Kyle Rittenhouse is moving ahead with his own defamation lawsuits with his lawyer already singling out a social media giant as one of the many intended targets.

Rittenhouse announced on Twitter Friday that he was working with Todd McMurtry, the lawyer who represented Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann in his defamation case against the Washington Post after a video went viral involving Sandmann and a Native American activist. Along with the Washington Post, McMurtry has reached settlements with media companies NBCUniversal and CNN.

McMurtry spoke with Fox News recently where he stated Rittenhouse’s legal team was preparing for “at least 10” defamation lawsuits against prominent figures and companies for comments made about Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was acquitted last year of all charges in a shooting that killed two people and wounded another during a protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

McMurtry went on to tell Fox News Digital in a phone interview that he’d been hired by Rittenhouse to determine “whom to sue, when to sue, where to sue” and said they probably had “10 to 15 solid” cases against “large defendants.”

You may recall us highlighting the Native American activist – Nathan Phillips – here on VG/TAH after Phillips claimed he was a Vietnam veteran.  Later, he revised his statement to he served during “Vietnam times.”  Phillips, who served under the name ‘Nathaniel Stanard,’ was a refrigerator repairman who went AWOL several times while in the Marine Corps and never set foot in Vietnam.

Quite frankly I hope he cleans them out. I’d love to see some large prominent mouth pieces taken to the cleaners.

Get some!

Graybeard

The proper strategy for combating these fascists:
May them pay, make them cry in their sleep, get ulcers in their stockholder meetings, and hold them up to ridicule.
Go get ’em Kyle!

Fyrfighter

Firearms companies should take a similar approach, instead if giving in like Remington did after Sandy Hook.

Roh-Dog

That’s why the lawsuit has meandered through the court system for seven long years: the plaintiffs had no case. It was the Supreme Court that refused to hear the case on appeal from Connecticut’s Supreme Court, thus allowing the case to proceed. Finally, in exhaustion and not admission of guilt, the settlement was made. –thenewamerican

I’m old enough to remember that “Congress shall make no law […] abridging the freedom of speech”, or tolerate those who do.

Connecticut, and its Court of Supreme-ing, is a lawless State, wholly incapable of respecting the Rights of the People. (ibid.)

May the former Rmington execs burn in Hell for THAT precedent.

When your “news” consists of calling everyone who disagrees with or does something you don’t like a white supremacist there is bound to be some fallout.

A cold pall of fear coils around the hearts of lib media executives everywhere. And rightfully so.

Might want to call my stock broker and see if it’s too late to invest in more popcorn futures. This is gonna be good. No question that he will win these cases. Only question is how much he is gonna win. Hope he makes paupers out of everyone of them.

I need to go to COSTCO and stock up on popcorn. The lawyers representing Nicholas Sandmann did a fine job and Kyle was smart to get them involved. 👍 👍

Here ya go, enjoy. AW1 Rod is a big fan-boi, too.

I hope this kid cleans up.

How could we forget Chief Kool-air. El Toro MAB in Commiefornia was the closest Fake Phillips ever got to the Viet of the Nam. Multiple AWOL’s there finally got him the boot.

poetrooper

Calling that alcoholic-Indian, ex-con dirtbag, Phillips, a Native American activist is allowing the lefties to control the discourse, a huge mistake, which far too many on the right continue to make. The only difference between him and all the other willfully homeless addicts is that ol’ Nate just happened to be in the right place at the right time to luck into his fifteen minutes of fame.

The guy’s been a total 💩 bird his entire life…

Out-fucking-standing!

I doubt he’ll get anywhere with a defamation suit against Retarded Uncle Joe until after he’s booted out of office, but he sure as hell can punish Zuckerberg, loudmouth idiot LeBron, and Buckwheat Medusa!

AW1Ed

Buckwheat Medusa? Can’t take you anywhere. Nappy, perhaps, but no snakes.

On the outside, anyway. Can’t speak for what passes behind her eyes.

Day’um… too bad she’s living proof a pretty face can be made ugly with a brain full of hate and a general state of the grossest incompetence.

poetrooper

“…and a general state of the grossest incompetence.”

Which, of course, is totally ignored and excused because she checks not just one but three of the affirmative action boxes.

A true triple-dipper… 👎 👎 👎

Rittenhouse can’t wait that long. In 2.5 years, the statute of limitations will likely have run, since the defamatory statements were made over 9 months ago. It depends on what state he files suit, but most states require tort suits to be filed within two or three years of the wrongful conduct.

poetrooper

Counselor, if he files in Wisconsin, where he was being confined while so many of the defamatory actions took place, the statute of limitations is three years, one of the longer ones among the states. Also, Wisconsin has a long-arm statute which should enable him to reach most, if not all, the intended defendants.

As far as Joe is concerned, he did call on the nation to respect the jury verdict when it was rendered.

Heh. As they say, someone’s fixin’ to lose their double-wide.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.

Daisy Cutter

Just like a tornado and an ex-wife — they’ll both take your double-wide before you know it.

President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH Neande

I hope Rittenhouse sues the idjits both corporate/collectively (CNN, et al), AND individually (Whoopie, et al). The individuals spewed their crap, and the corporates condoned, and encouraged said spewing.

A Proud Infidel®™️

I hope he cleans their clocks and pocketbooks.

Remember when Lars assured us he would go away forever and rot behind bars?

Oh man… haven’t laughed this hard in a LONG time.

rgr769

Lars’s inability to understand anything in our present reality (as opposed to his parallel universe of fakery) was legend. His ability to predict the future is even more impaired.

A Proud Infidel®™

He has a concrete mind, by that I mean it’s permanently set and all mixed up.

Blockhead?

Lars couldn’t even predict the past… 😜

He should also go after skateboard manufacturers.

My local gun store/SOT tried to get me to buy full auto only BAR in December 2019 for 15k bills.

I look upon my support by fire position with shame and regert.
