His previous loser, David Chipman, was withdrawn because of charges that he didn’t quite understand what the Supreme Court says about the Second Amendment. Something about an inherent right for individuals to own firearms he didn’t quite grasp.
Having learned nothing from this, Joe’s latest pick is arguably worse.

Biden ATF nominee says he called for assault weapons ban without defining what that means

President Biden’s pick to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Steve Dettelbach, acknowledged Wednesday he does not have a definition for the term “assault weapon,” even though he called for a ban on them when he ran for Ohio attorney general in 2018.
During his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Dettelbach faced a grilling by Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., who called him out for how he supported an assault weapons ban during his campaign, despite not knowing what that would mean.
“When I was a candidate for office, I did talk about restrictions on assault weapons. I did not define the term. And I haven’t gone through the process of defining that term,” Dettelbach acknowledged.
“So you’re running for public office, and you called for a ban on assault weapons, but you don’t have a definition for assault weapons?” Cotton asked.
Makes perfect sense, if you also buy a Supreme Court Judge who cannot define what a woman is. He’s up for vote on Wednesday.

Well, Dumbass Dettlebach, if you can’t define what you’re looking for when you come for whatever it is you think you want, you might get the wrong end of said item. Or, maybe the RINOs can find their balls and vote no on this waste of oxygen.
If this cockfag gets confirmed and starts toying with the idea of mandatory buy back programs or registration, he might want to do some research first and find out it didn’t go so well in New Zealand, Australia, or even Canada. Even similar programs linked with the New York SAFE Act were abysmal failures. If the government actually tries to confiscate firearms from peaceable citizens who have the right to have them, it should be prepared to find most Americans unwilling to comply, just as they were in 1775 when King George tried that shit.
