4th of July thoughts from peawits
Since the holiday is almost over, I figure I can’t ruin it for y’all with this conversation between Reagan Sullivan and Bobby Whittenberg. We first ran into Reagan Sullivan when TSO wrote about him last year. We featured Bobby Whittenberg as a potential winner of our Worst Memorial Day post – nice to know he doesn’t like the 4th of July, either.
Here’s picture of Whittenberg;
Prepare yourselves for the moonbattery;
And oh, yeah, if you’re wondering what their mutual friend Carl Webb is up to these days – he’s trying to get his friends to send “far left revolutionary” books to the troops in theater;
We all know that Webb won’t be sending any books himself because he’s too poor and cheap and mooching off of someone else like a good little Marxist/Leninist/Trotskyist – but he’ll encourage his “friends” to send books to undermine the military.

what annoys me is that Count Kropotkin had more brains and honor and dignity than all the leftards/anarchists quoting him. Plus, I doubt that they actually read his works instead of a 5-page brochure filled with his one-liners taken out of context
Revolting. If anybody wonders why I left the antiwar movement even though I’m still against the war, well, hello. Actually, there are other reasons as well, but this type of thing is part of it. They are also very ignorant on top of being disrespectful, particularly with regard to individual rights, but I’m not going to waste my time on it. And Olga is certainly right about Kropotkin in comparison.
Some one needs to turn these children on to what communists did to people all over the world. THAT would be revolutionary.
It wouldn’t rattle their worldview at all. They would justify it by either calling the people that the communists murdered “criminals” or explain it away by insisting that they were not “real” communists.
That Bobby fuck needs his ass beaten.
The stories I could relate on how VN was taken over by Communists would give you all nightmares for years. How gardeners were set as District Reps and forced families from homes; forced resettlement to collective farms; murders of anyone previously seen as authority; rapes, thousands of rapes, of women because the ‘new bosses’ wanted them- didn’t matter some were children or already married. It was horrendous. ”They lied” was the refrain I hear all the time.
BTW, your headline should read ‘PEEWITS’.

Wow!! Debbie, you were so right. Ignorance,apparently, is alive and well, at least in some minds. I noticed that Whittenburg managed to make his stand on the flag when no one, absolutely no one, was around him. ADIVAW, I totally agree with your statement.
M’kay Whittenberg,since ‘Merikka is founded by rasis’ ole white dudes & you are sooo concerned ’bout the NDNs, when ya gonna load up the U-Haul & get your pale arse back to Europe???
I actually own a Jon Orlando Photo. I THOUGHT his work was great. I’ll be sending it back to him now that I know that he has no shame in what he photographs.
If you look up his website you’ll see alot of Anti-War material but this one crosses the line.
Re: Carl
What I think is really odd here is that there is a note that “…books by Howard Zinn…can get through to the troops this way. So maybe we can get some far left revolutionary material out to the troops to” (or words to that effect)
Maybe Zinn isn’t FAR left to this guy’s perpective but People’s History of the US aside, we’re talking about someone who, in the New York Times Book section ( http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/19/books/review/Letters-t-1.html?_r=1&oref=slogin ), once wrote the following:
“However, in her review of four books on terrorism, especially Talal Asad’s “On Suicide Bombing” (July 29), she claims a moral distinction between “inadvertent” killing of civilians in bombings and “deliberate” targeting of civilians in suicide attacks. Her position is not only illogical, but (against her intention, I believe) makes it easier to justify such bombings.
She believes that “there is a moral difference between setting out to destroy as many civilians as possible and killing civilians unintentionally and reluctantly in pursuit of a military objective.” Of course, there’s a difference, but is there a “moral” difference? That is, can you say one action is more reprehensible than the other?”
Accidentally killing civilians in aerial bombing is not morally different than suicide bombing. So…yeah.
Okay, that’s not necessarily a Left view, just a moonbat one-but I go back to People’s History and say anything that’s Left of that ain’t good. Remembering the Nation’s Name maxim that “anything that’s got the words “Peoples” or “Democratic” in it-ain’t for either”
This picture is what I was talking about to some people I know. I was explaining that I have been within a couple of feet of people who have either been standing on the flag, or burning it, in my presence and the only thing keeping them from receiving a throat punch was the police officers between me and them. Now, that being said, I often wonder why there are still those who espouse the communist/marxist ways? Obviously these two mental midgets don’t read, either, since they go on and on about the “rich” all while quoting Marx. Well, if they must know; Marx was one of those “rich” privileged that they hate so much. It’s quite obvious that they, themselves, read very little, unless it has to do with all those romantic “ideas” about communism. They haven’t read that way back before this nation was founded, some of the very earliest sttlers tried the “commune” model here in the colonies. Yeah, it worked about as well as expected when human nature is injected into the formula. That’s what these giants of literary ingestion will never understand, it all looks good on paper, as I’m sure Marx was very proud of himself for writing down what he “thought” would be a great society, although he never lived it himself. Granted, he probably thought he was onto something new and exciting (as long as he was the one in charge), however, his was an old idea that had been tried many times before by people as well meaning and control hungry as he was. The ultimate “Utopia” society. What really makes me laugh is all these chuckleheads that think that communism/marxism is such a great way to live, yet they espouse this nonsense while living in relative freedom. In other words; they aren’t practicing what they’re preaching (kind of like the left in this country is never more generous than when they’re spending everyone elses money). I say they need to live in Cuba, or North Korea for a little while in order to get a taste for what they want… Read more »
Sticking my head in the sand here for a few minutes to reflect on our July 4th. Spent the evening down on South Padre Island where a fellow shipmate prepared brats and had a supply of good whiskey followed by the fireworks display at 9:30 pm. Just nice to escape the world turmoil for a day.
OldTrooper, you really ought to print that out and send it to the Pretender in Chief. Send a copy to Rahm Emanuel, Pelosi, Harry Reid too. They think they’re the “right people” to implement this, and unfortunately, so do their bozo followers.
Damn man, the post of the day as far as I’m concerned.
“since they go on and on about the “rich” all while quoting Marx.”
That friggin’ bourgeoisie BUM. Bastid never paid his rent on time and sponged off Engels until he got a cozy inheritance. Once the Commie Manifest was published (and he collected the royalties), sonofa-beyotch never did a doggone thing despite other commie bastids begging him for more work to round out the fairy tale, oops, theory of communism.
Turd burglar Whittenberg is a leftard anarchist. These red & black dishrag waving phuqesticks will screech about “power to the sheeple” whilst smashing in the windows of what they see as “eevil corporations” like fast food & coffee franchises. Franchises owned by hardworking Joes & Jills who typically put in 80 hour work weeks for their piece of the American dream.
I have anarcho-capitalist leanings, therefore, I respect private property and NOT initiating aggression. That being said, hope the next time the leftard-anarchists decide to smash and vandalize the businesses of working stiffs to “protest globalization”, I hope at least one business owner is justified in putting a load of 00 buck or a hollow point in their soft-n-tenders, resulting in a leftard sporting a hip (mounted) clostonomy bag!
Memo to wannabe Karl Marx Webb, “progressives” are blood thirsty imperialist warmongers, too.
BTW, thanks for the book idea. Think I’ll send some decent reading material from the Ludwig von Mises Institute & Cato to counteract any leftard crap you clowns send!

That is a GREAT idea! Maybe you could set up a webpage, or at least a blog, with a PayPal button on it for supporters to contribute. I, for one, would be honored to contribute to such a worthy cause.
