Vaccine passports may well be the path forward-CDC Director

| July 28, 2021

Rochelle Walensky, CDC director, was asked if European style vaccine passports would be used in the United States. She responded, “That may very well be the path forward”. The CDC has recently recommended mask usage, for both unvaccinated and vaccinated, in areas of high COVID-19 transmission.

From the Clarion News:

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky suggested that vaccine passport-style systems might be implemented in the United States amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

When asked in a TV interview Wednesday about whether the United States would mandate a European-style “health pass” system for nightclubs or bars, Walensky said, “That may very well be a path forward.”

The director further said that “in some fully vaccinated venues,” it “is possible” for a fully vaccinated individual to transmit and pick up COVID-19 “in those settings” and added that federal officials have “seen that” during studies.

COVID-19 is the illness caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

Her comments came after the CDC announced Tuesday it would recommend people wear masks in some areas with high transmission. Vaccinated and unvaccinated children should also wear masks when fall classes start, the CDC also said, reversing guidance issued only a few weeks ago that suggested only unvaccinated children wear masks.

Hours after the CDC issued its latest guidance, President Joe Biden told reporters that the federal government is considering mandating all federal employees to get the vaccine.

“That’s under consideration right now,” Biden told a reporter who asked whether the administration was weighing such a requirement.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that the administration had not made a determination about whether it would be legal for Biden to require federal employees to be vaccinated. The U.S. federal government is the country’s largest employer.

Biden plans to announce “next steps” on Thursday in the effort to get more Americans to receive vaccines.

        I appreciate it, brothers.

If I could figure out how to wear a trench coat in Texas summers and not look suspicious, my Mossy Berg Mav would be my argument of choice for the in-yer-face tyrants.
Sure am thankful for the overwatch. Luvs me some .308 chill-pills for the hotheads.

Absolutely fantastic piece of equipment. Got mine from a buddy at Benning for $100, almost new. Went and got the 28″ field and 20″ rifled slug barrels, slapped a shake can paint job on ‘er.
Birds, deers, hogs, armadillos, Darth Mauls all have fallen to its blast.
          Keeps going and going.
I wonder if they started building Toyotas in Eagle Pass they’d last two forevers?

          • SFC D says:

I got the 88 Security for $190 new, 12 ga, 20″ barrel, 7+1 capacity. Stock was a little long for me, replaced it with an M-4 style stock. Fits perfectly.

Ol’ Poe had him a Mossy 590 Tactical up until the cancer took off almost eighty pounds and a lot of arm strength with it.

Sold it and replaced it with a Remington 870 Inoxx, 20 gauge, which is a bit lighter with an easier pump action and a helluva lot less recoil.

Poe figures 12 gauge…20 gauge…bad guys won’t knowin’ the difference when that load of buckshot hits them center mass…

      • Poetrooper says:

In states like mine, where the CDC says two-thirds of the citizenry remain unvaccinated, they’ll sell far better than fake ID’s for teenagers.

    • Stacy0311 says:

Already available. With a list of lot numbers for vaccines used in each state.
Print on card stock not regular paper.

I was offered the making of a very good fake from a relative. He had made himself one.

I actually declined as a matter of pride. I don’t want anyone to “think” that I took the jab. Just a personal thing at point because I’m so pissed off about it all.

Meanwhile, Simone Biles chokes… Paul Joseph Watson calls her out.

      • E4 Mafia '83-'87 says:

So brave! She should get a gold medal for just for bravery! Only the true GOAT would stumble early and fold like a lawn chair. “Yeah, girls…I’m just not feeling it. Peace out!” What a true greatest of all time… (wiping away tears as I type)

Seriously. What kind of “champion” goes out on her belly…with a whimper?

        • Graybeard says:

At her level of competition and the routines she does, without the confidence that one can do it, one incurs a great risk of life-changing injury.
Too many lady gymnasts in the past have ruined their bodies and their lives pushing when they shouldn’t have. One I know of breaking her neck and being a paraplegic.
I support Simone 100% – let her get her confidence back and she’ll be fine. But she’s gotta KNOW that she can do it, or she’ll ruin her body, her career, and possibly her life.

I’ve known too many injured gymnasts to fault her.

          • SFC D says:

My father-in-law spent his life in a wheelchair because of the same spatial disorientation issues Ms Biles is having. It’s no joke. At the speed and altitude this young lady operates, a crash could paralyze her. I hate to see her drop out, but I can also understand it. She’s the best ever at 26, in a sport that usually burns competitors out by 16.

      • Only Army Mom says:

Normally, I’m right there to call out the virtue signaling. In this case, I have to respect her decision, given what I know about the pressure of that level of gymnastics.

At 26, her brain finally matured enough to connect the cognitive and emotional centers and she bowed out. Good for her. She’s a full adult in a sport of children who are incapable of reasoning through the risk-reward ratio.

They can kiss my tanned white ass! It’s nobody’s business if I have or have not. The problem with society today is that none of these assholes trying to shove their ideals down our throats ever had a good old fashioned ass kicking. Maybe we’re at fault for not punching back harder sooner. I don’t claim to have a firm answer.

On a separate topic, I had a “professional” former O type contact me recently and included the line: “Navy SEAL Tech”. Now me scratching my head and separated more than 30 years from Big NAV wondered aloud what kind of bullshit this was or even if it was fo’ real. This guy said he went to the same kinda training, shot all the cool stuff, and was part of the support system on jobs but wasn’t actually a SEAL type or SWCC.

He also held a different position in the NAV before that. IMO he should have been more than proud of that and stopped right there. I can’t say he was a “poser” but it didn’t sit right with me and I asked why did he have to add the Navy SEAL Tech. In the end, he did check out but what is it with these guys that want to add to a resume?

I’m curious to know if anyone has ever heard of that term before, Navy SEAL Tech?

    • SFC D says:

Maybe he was a mechanic and installed a lot of gaskets?

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Maybe it’s a term for someone that’s into performing fellatio on pinnipeds?

Anybody want to make book that the “Passport” is labeled “CDC Form 666”?

    • Roh-Dog says:

      Nope, it is.
Brother,… this kinda makes me wonder if God really meant Exodus 22 & 23:
“Do not allow a sorceress to live.”
“Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness.”
“Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent.”
“Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.”

If this heralds the return of the King, he ain’t gonna be happy with us.

Yet, coof positive migrants are just released into communities all over the USA w/o notifying local authorities. The alleged disgusting crap that happened at the La Joya,TX Whataburger is just a drop in the bucket. The WH, CDC, NIH..etc, just can’t let go of their overlord status.

    • USMCMSgt (Ret) says:

My gut tells me the spike in positive cases, including a resurgence of the latest variant, is attributed to all the illegal migrants who are caught and released, and distributed throughout the country. Exposure has to start somewhere.

CDC has not been credible since they got political with declaring gun violence and ownership was an “epidemic”.
