We’ve Been Warned
North Korea’s sister-brother is warning us before the US and South Korea have their planned meeting, while current military drills are ongoing.
From the article: SEOUL, South Korea — In North Korea’s first comments directed at the Biden administration, Kim Jong Un’s powerful sister on Tuesday warned the United States to “refrain from causing a stink” if it wants to “sleep in peace” for the next four years.
Kim Yo Jong’s statement was issued as U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in Asia to talk with U.S. allies Japan and South Korea about North Korea and other regional issues. They have meetings in Tokyo on Tuesday before speaking to officials in Seoul on Wednesday.
“We take this opportunity to warn the new U.S. administration trying hard to give off (gun) powder smell in our land,” she said. “If it wants to sleep in peace for coming four years, it had better refrain from causing a stink at its first step.”
Kim Yo Jong, a senior official who handles inter-Korean affairs, also criticized the U.S. and South Korea for holding military exercises. She also said the North would consider abandoning a 2018 bilateral agreement on reducing military tensions and abolish a decades-old ruling party unit tasked to handle inter-Korean relations if it no longer had to cooperate with the South.
She said the North would also consider scrapping an office that handled South Korean tours to the North’s scenic Diamond Mountain, which Seoul suspended in 2008 after a North Korean guard fatally shot a South Korean tourist. – article
And one may logically ask, why is Sister Yo Jong making all these public pronouncements now? Is this a heads up warning that she’s about to stop in and take over because Fatty Kim da T’ird is feewing poorly? And I do mean stop in, as opposed to step in.
So….is this an implied threat of some kind, or just a ploy to get our attention? Since South Korea is an ally, with whom we have practice drills on a recurring basis, yanking our sleeve to get attention is normal….except that this is specifically aimed at the new Admin in the White House, which is led by someone who is now being criticized (gasp!) by the press for mimicking his predecessor’s public pronouncements.

They aren’t particularly dense when it comes to reading the US media. They fully understand the present potus is an empty suit. They also know that the vp is a far lefty radical and is likely to be very friendly to anything the norks want to do. The norks are likely giggling about the US Military being concerned with trans and inclusion issues other than readiness. Previously they have been mostly making noise. Today I am not so sure that they don’t think they can get away with pretty much anything they want to especially since biden is bought and paid for by their chinese ally.
