No Mas FARC

I just got an email from Kate that the details for the DC “No Mas FARC” march has been finalized. It is scheduled for noon, February 4th at Freedom Plaza (about two blocks east of the White House) on Pennsylvania Avenue.

There’s a Facebook entry for the march. Even though much of the advertising is in Spanish (the organizers are mostly Colombians), everyone is welcome to show up and join. The flier says “Columbia needs you next February 4th for the great global mobilization against FARC; no more kidnappings, no more lies, no more dead, no more FARC”.

This yanqui bloggero has already signed up on Facebook and I’ll be there and post some photos and videos here.
