Representative Greene To File Articles of Impeachment

| January 14, 2021

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)

Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene will file articles for the impeachment of President Biden the day after his inauguration, for abuse of power.

The freshman congresswoman won her house seat in November and represents Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, which includes almost all of the northwestern part of the state.

It’s going to be a long and contentious two years, stay tuned.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Pledges To File Articles Of Impeachment Against Joe Biden After Inauguration

A freshman congresswoman from Georgia has promised to hold Joe Biden accountable on day one. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene vowed Wednesday to file articles of impeachment against Biden for abuse of power just one day after inauguration. She cited his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings with Ukraine and China as grounds to do so.

The Republican represents Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, which is one of the biggest GOP strongholds in the state. Taylor Greene claimed Biden has been compromised by several foreign governments through those corrupt dealings overseas.

The staunch supporter of President Trump pointed out that Biden collected millions of dollars from foreign governments and used Hunter to pocket dirty money from abroad. Taylor Greene’s pledge to impeach Biden came after she voted against President’s Trump’s impeachment.

Without a majority there is no chance of the House actually impeaching Biden and sending the procedure to the Senate for trial. This is just the harbinger of things to come.

Good for her. Not that it will go anywhere, but that is just the state of national politics now. The left opened a can of worms and now they get a taste of their own medicine.

LC

I tend to disagree with the ‘incitement to insurrection’ impeachment, but the response to one act of questionable judgement should not be an act of even worse judgement.

We don’t get back to a better state of national politics by encouraging our officials to act like petulant children.

Commissar

The incitement comes from months of lies claiming the election was stolen.

Months.

Along with dozens of inflammatory calls for people to stand up and fight. And repeatedly refused to agree to a peaceful transition.

And even when the violence was happening, and even when he and the entire government knew the violence was because of Trump’s lie that the election was stolen; he kept making the claim.

His calls for people to de peaceful were after he was given immense pressure from his cabinet, Republican leaders, Pence, and his staff and family.

And even in his calls for peace he continued the false claim the election was stolen

Also he chose to have the rally down the street on the same day as the vote and told the mob to march on the Capitol.

Already we have people who were there acknowledging to the FBI that the invaded the Capitol because they thought that is what the president wanted.

There is also a lot more information to come out.

LC

As more information comes out, I may change my tune – but right now, I think the charge doesn’t match the evidence.

You’re familiar with stochastic terrorism, I’m sure. Trump obviously had an influence on the rioters, but how much of an influence, and what was the intent? There’s a narrow difference between ‘blame’ and ‘responsibility’ for these actions, but I think it’s an important one, too.

Which is to say, I think he deserves some of the blame, sure, but I’m not sure he is responsible.

Partly that goes to intent; I think Trump is an utter moron -a bias, perhaps- but given that perspective, I think his mindset was he genuinely can’t believe he lost. So he’s angry. And looking for confirmation from those who support him. To turn that anger into a plan requires more forethought than he typically exhibits.

And the second part goes to where we draw the fuzzy line of responsibility. Is a BLM organizer, preaching anger but not explicitly endorsing looting or violence, responsible when a person attending an otherwise peaceful rally breaks shit or hits someone? The angry words of said organizer had an effect, obviously, but does it reach the level of personal responsibility? Or, for a non-political version, does N.W.A., famous for their song, “Fuck tha Police”, deserve blame when an ardent fan assaults a police officer?

There’s a threshold, obviously. People will reasonably disagree on what that is. I’m not sure what we currently know of Trump’s actions and intent cross that threshold, and the unwillingness of the Democrats to wait for more information to come out makes me view this as a political choice, not one in pursuit of justice.

Now, if what Ali Alexander has to say about Brooks, Biggs and Gosar has merit, I’d be much more inclined to say the charges apply to them, but this is why we need to let the dust settle and see what the investigations show. We’re learning new things every day.

Hondo

And now we have this:

https://www.citizenfreepress.com/breaking/breaking-fbi-arrests-left-wing-anarchist-leader-john-sullivan-for-inciting-riot-in-capitol-siege/

https://redstate.com/shipwreckedcrew/2021/01/14/well-known-antifa-rioter-arrested-and-charged-with-rioting-in-capitol-confesses-in-interview-with-fbi-n310082

This seems to be a bit more specific regarding incitement than “public angry statements”. And the individual doesn’t exactly seem to be a Trump supporter, either.

(Hat tip to 11B-Mailclerk for posting these links in comments to another article.)

LC

I’m glad they arrested him, but I don’t think that should really change the calculus for anyone. Most of the arrests are clearly Trump supporters, so this doesn’t suddenly make it seem like an ‘Antifa’ operation as some have claimed, and, with the caveat that I’m not a lawyer, it sure doesn’t seem like they’re charging him with ‘incitement’ of some kind. The affidavit specifies “Civil Disorders”, “Restricted Building or Grounds”, and “Violent Entry or Disorderly Conduct”.

And ultimately this gets to my issue with the impeachment charge – even with Sullivan yelling, per the affidavit, “Go! Go! Get this shit!”, how much responsibility for the actions of others rests with him for his encouragement? Not a whole lot, in my opinion. People showed up ready to riot; they were 99% there already. Even if he was the final 1% they needed, which I don’t think he was, I think trying to say he incited an already-rowdy crowd is a bit much.

Trump clearly holds a lot more sway than this nobody, but the same thing holds – how much can I hold him responsible for the actions of others? It’s less clear given the longer track record of (arguable) encouragement, and the much stronger influence given his role as POTUS, but if someone was a nutjob already, that’s not on him.

Ultimately, I’d want to hear evidence from rioters on what galvanized their beliefs, their presence that day, and their decision to break shit and attack police. If all those things are tied directly to Trump (as opposed to, say, just hating liberals, or government, or something else), then I’d perhaps buy that Trump is in some way responsible.

Mason

That’s not inciting violence and you know it.

Hondo

Yeah, he knows it. But Commissar Wumao (五毛) gets paid by the word to post propaganda, not for fact-checking or truthful statements.

A Proud Infidel®™

Major Moonbat, IMHO you have less than one tenth of the brains and common sense of a Swift Driver!

Commie-Tsar

My empiric data tells me that Biden likes Chinese cock… I like Chinese cock. Therefore, I’ll support him as a true anti-social socialist would!

FORWARD PEASANTS TO THE PROMISED LAND!

JBUSMC

It was stolen. There is no way he got that many votes. NFW

E4 Mafia '83-'87

Clinton and the Dems STILL claim 2016 was stolen, but hell…its only been 4 years. That Troll Clyburn tried impeaching Trump from Day 1, but like Democrats say, “If it were for double standards, we wouldn’t have any standards at all.”
I guess you forget Your Momma telling Joe to NEVER concede, but like Democrats say, “If it were for double standards, we wouldn’t have any standards at all.”

xyzzy

Too soon. Give Biden enough rope to hang his career with first.

Remember to play the long game.

Slow Joe

No. Impeach right now.
Keep the pressure on, doesn’t matter if it goes anywhere.
Let the wanna-be totalitarian dictators that we, the people, are watching closely.

xyzzy

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oh, wait…you were being serious.

Our side is in disarray. We need to regroup and think up a battle plan. Then put it to work. Otherwise we are just wasting our time.

We will get ours, but not soon. First, we retake Congress in 2022. Then strengthen our majority and retake the Presidency in 2024. Then, when the Federal Government is under our control, we hit back hard and fast.

We do not have time to waste on bullshit like this. We need a plan. Let’s focus on the plan. Educate. Agitate. Keep it legal, but effective.

Commissar

I for one welcome her nonsense.

The Republican Party is deeply wounded, divided, and clinging to their last shred of credibility.

Q anon morons like her will put the party out of its misery.

She will never be taken seriously and without Trump’s coattails to elevate her clownshow she will have no real impact in Congress.

And and speaking of bullshit Republican lies…
https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/14/media/seth-rich-lawsuit-settlement-ed-butowsky/index.html

I can’t wait until OANN, Newsmax, and Fox start settling their lawsuits over their election fraud lies.

And idiots like Giuliani, Lin Wood, and Sidney Powell…

Powell already faces a $1.3B lawsuits over he lies. That is BILLION.

Donald Trump and Don Junior are going to be served with their lawsuits over their false election fraud claims as well.

Of course Trump will just declare bankruptcy since the only people willing to lend him money at this point are the Saudis, UAE, and Qatar and they are going to be concerned about their relationship with the Biden administration.

Mike Gunns

It’s no more nonsense than the four year campaign by your lefty friends to try to get rid of Trump. He no sooner took the oath of office and there was an attempt to produce articles of impeachment.

So…LOLGF

Commissar

You are a moron.

He refused to concede an election, lied for about it for months, refused to agree to a peaceful transition….

And his nonsense led to an insurrection, an attempt to kidnap and murder members of Congress, and an attempt to steal an election against the will of the American voters to install himself as a despot…

And you are drawing an equivalence to a person that has not even started his term yet?

Go fuck yourself you Q d’eTwat traitor.

Anyone that puts party loyalty over the republic is an absolute irredeemable piece of shit.

Mason

Conceding an election is not required.

He thinks the election was stolen just like you think that Russian meddled in the last election. Those are political arguments.

He has repeatedly said there would be and will be a peaceful transition.

I can’t deal with responding to the rest of your lies and nonsense.

ArmyATC

“Anyone that puts party loyalty over the republic is an absolute irredeemable piece of shit.”

Going for a bit of introspection, I see. From now on we’ll call you commieczar POS. Now, don’t you have elderly citizen deaths to celebrate, asshat?

xyzzy

^^^^^ Ping Slow Joe…see this? Still wanna waste time on bullshit that will cause the GOP to be an even bigger has-been than the Prohibition Party is now?

Regroup. Recover. Regain power. Then we strike…full force, no remorse.

Poetrooper

“Powell already faces a $1.3B lawsuits over he lies. That is BILLION.”

Lars, you don’t know jack shit (by the way–where has he disappeared to?) about lawsuit pleadings. Plaintiff lawyers always grossly overstate the damages in their initial pleadings.

I once had a lawyer file for almost $200 million in damages in a suit that was worth at absolute most a half mil and which I ended up with about a hundred grand settlement. When I asked him what the hell he was doing, he just laughed and told me that’s the way the game’s played.

Once again, you display your ignorance of real life…

Commissar

Republicans won’t win the White House again for 12 years. Maybe never again.

There is better than even odds the party will just be a fringe third party in 8 years.

Already many of the Republican donors and most centrist republicans are calling to purge Trump’s influence from the party.

The path of least resistance is to create a Lincoln party. Draw some centrist, corporate, and neoliberal Dems…

But the a Trump brand will

Slow Joe

What a fuckin retard you are, Commiessar.

Commissar

I posted before I finished…

But the Republican Party is dead.

A zombie party that will shambles through about election cycle before realizing the the Trump stench has made it no longer viable to have an “R” next to your name in a national election.

All that is left for republicans is more bad news as Trump’s legal quagmire and courtroom losses reveals the real Donald Trump.

Slow Joe

So, you are celebrating that the Dems will steal all the elections in the foreseeable future.

“The end justifies the means”

The Other Whitey

Please tell me you’re not surprised. Lars beats off while fantasizing about guarding a gulag full of us deplorables.

5JC

Let’s see. The party of the dead:

– Picked up seats in the house
– lost the Senate by a hair
– picked up a Gov Mansion

All while having the most controversial president of modern times in office. Who BTW, has been deplatformed and wether he gets convicted or not is fast becoming irrelevant.

Deckie

You want the Republic to die Lars. You’re a pathetic shit sipping cocksucking disgrace to every uniform you ever wore and life itself. Seriously, I’d have more respect for you if you stopped pretending to love this country and were just honest about wanting it to die.

To reiterate – you’re an absolute piece of fucking shit, O-4.

Hondo

But the Republican Party is dead.

I’m pretty sure much the same was said about the Democratic Party in the aftermath of the Civil War, too. Like your comment here, those reports were a wee bit premature.

xyzzy

That’s because they united and came back strong. They didn’t waste time on no-hope causes.

We need to do the same. Unite, rebuild, then return.

The Other Whitey

We are about to inaugurate the results of a fraudulent election, with all investigations thereof openly suppressed, with a criminally complicit Congress looking on all the while. Thus this will go nowhere, despite its merits. Future elections will only get worse fraud-wise; those who steal power do not relinquish willingly.

The ballot box has failed. Is the cartridge box next?

KoB

BZ Marjorie, you go Girl! Hey, if that Kongress Kritter thing don’t work out for you, how about you make a run for the Guv’s spot? We’ve had it confirmed now that the one we have is nothing more than a career political lackey, that has no problem selling out to the highest bidder. Kemp may find out, like Barnes did, that you shouldn’t piss off too many of the citizens Which by now, I’m sure that Kemp will dial into the Dominion Corp or go back to his yellow dog roots.

Marjorie is kinda hot too! Wonder if she cooks?

SFC D

Lars, you’re seriously overstepping what few boundaries have been set for you. If you had the balls to actually say what you type here to an actual live human, the ass whooping you’d receive would be epic. You’re a little little man, all ego and bluster. No substance. You’ll be a fraud, failure, and once-was for the rest of your life.

She looks like she covered herself in glue, then jumped into a pool full of Paparazzi five dollar specials.

Also, who scribbled on her arms and fingers? They look like a desk in high school detention.

I don’t know what the Hell I post about.

I like to pull random thought and feeling out of my ass just because I can. Maybe that is why I have no friends and all the women I meet cuck me.

I just shit in my unicorn underroos!!

Not to interrupt this fine intellectual discourse (LOLZZZZ) but, I do believe that IDC SARC and I would both hit it, Indubitably, and without regret.
So there.

Good. Elections have consequences.

For some reason, I read “Erections have consequences”.

I blame it on AW1Ed for picking up on KoB and ChipNASA.

“Erections have consequences” just like when some Joe decides to poke “Mary Jane Rottencrotch” without a rubber and shortly afterward can’t take a piss without screaming in pain or suddenly finds himself the target of a paternity Suit!

Consequences?

Ask Bill Clinton

As usual, poor form and poor judgment. Childish BS from toothless politications.

Can’t wait for all these overdramatic mumbo jumbo to be over with.

I guess she gets little measure of vengeances on the Dems?

What does she get out of this, anyone please tell me.

The same thing the other party did by impeaching someone scheduled to leave office in 7 days.

The Donks are doing it as a form of mental masturbation, Hondo…

Hondo

I know. This last move will be much the same IMO – and have about the same practical effect.

MI Ranger

Great use of misinformation!!
I was initially incensed that a Republican House Member would stoop to filing the Articles of Impeachment for the Majority nit wits. I was about to call her a RINO.
Even if the “elected” majority turns it down it is good to make a stand and file the articles for the record. There is more than enough evidence to show that Joe and his family have been illegally obtaining funds from foreign governments for their influence!

Berliner

Lars… Speaking of incitement:

“Here’s a quote: ‘I just don’t even know why there aren’t more- why there aren’t uprisings all over the country and maybe there will be,'” Gohmert began. “Or, ‘Sadly, the domestic enemies of our voting system and honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in Congress.’ We were called ‘enemies’ of the state. Those were all quotes from our speaker.

“Now, on our side, we didn’t take those to be impeachable because we didn’t believe she surely meant that,” Gohmert added. “But by the Democrats taking this action, you’re telling me, ‘No, when we say those, we actually mean to incite violence.’ That’s what this action is saying.”

Nancy Pelosi… (using my Price is Right game show host voice) COME ON DOWN!

rgr769

Well, I said we just had our Reichstag Fire moment at the Capitol building last week. We even have the revolutionary domestic terrorist identified by the Fan Belt Inspectors, just like the Dutch Communist who started that actual fire in 1933. The Deep State corruptocrat LEO’s have today ID’d bare chested Buffalo head man as having admitted he was intending to “assassinate” VP Pence in the House. I guess he was planning to gore Pence to death.
