It’s On the Agenda

Per the FBI’s press release, riots are planned for January 16, 2021 and subsequent dates at all state capitols, as indicated in the referenced article below.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/armed-protests-planned-50-state-capitols-fbi-bulletin/story?id=75179771

From the article:  The FBI has also received information in recent days on a group calling for “storming” state, local and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event President Donald Trump is removed from office prior to Inauguration Day. The group is also planning to “storm” government offices in every state the day President-elect Joe Biden will be inaugurated, regardless of whether the states certified electoral votes for Biden or Trump.

“The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January,” the bulletin read. “They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur.” – article

Here’s another link with more specific details:  https://abc7ny.com/fbi-armed-protest-president-donald-trump-capitol-raid/9563994/

From the article:  Starting this week and running through at least Inauguration Day, armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitals and at the US Capitol, according to an internal FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News.
“As of 10 January, armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least 20 January, and at the US Capitol from 17 January through 20 January,” the bulletin said. – article

The local newspaper carries an article informing us of the “dangers of right-wing riots”. I do not recall seeing any such Nervous Nellies shivering in fear when the left-wing riots were going on, and I did look for that kind of thing. In fact, they seemed quite pleased by the wholesale destruction of city centers in cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle and Portland. The vast spatial brain fart that says it’s okay for lefties to riot and burn, but not okay for righties has no hidden meaning: it’s on the agenda.

I suggest inviting your friends over to watch it on TV. Stock up on party food, set up the grill, chill a bunch of beverages, and set the TV on a favorite channel. This is also something you can watch if you’re going ice fishing, but that’s if the ice is thick enough where you are. So far, only critters that weigh the same as a Canada goose can walk on frozen water.

I suspect they will have help by the usual suspects in finding one if the ordinary right refuses to riot.

Count on provocateurs. It’s what they do.

As if we needed more evidence that the election has been stolen… They are going all in on the Reichstag angle, their antifa stooges will continue with the violence they so enjoy, pretending to be President Trump supporters, giving the left the excuse they need to suspend the Constitution. They’ve already said it’s an outdated piece of paper written by old white men (proves they’re idiots, since the average age of the signers was only 42)… Anyone who thinks they won’t move in this direction immediately after the sham inauguration is a fool.

  3. Mustang Major says:

I’m celebrating the inauguration with a colonoscopy. If I am taking it up the rear twice, I might as well get it out of the way in one day.

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

      LOL!

    • NEC338x says:

At least if the colonoscopy comes back clean, you have a good chance that your plumbing will make it another four years.

Seriously though, I do hope it’s clean. My stepfather succumbed to colon cancer. Best wishes.

    • Graybeard says:

      MM:
      A) Glad you’re getting a colonoscopy. My mother and uncle died of colon cancer. Getting it up the adz is no fun, but a hail of a lot better than colon cancer.

      B) Hope it comes back clean. Unlike the fiasco we’re in now.

      God bless!

Its a good nap, and you will wake up feeling much better and have more energy*!!

*As long as you drink one of those energy shakes afterwards, now that you can actually eat something.

But yeah, it is a good thing to have done about now. Are they still doing the Over 40 physical, and the health screening at CGSC?

  4. UpNorth says:

The Feebs have to stop getting their intel from Kommisar.

  5. KoB says:

Anybody still doubt that the Deep State is real, alive, and well? Wonder if they got enough of the Black Helicopters…and cattle car trains.

Some say the FeeBees have been corrupt since way back yonder. Others say they got compromised when Hitlery and Bill cleaned out J. Edgars files when they took over the WH in ’92.

“I said nothing when they came for…”

    • UpNorth says:

They won’t use cattle cars, very few of them left on the rails. 89′ automobile carriers? The railroads have got thousands of them, some double and triple decked inside.

  6. David says:

Keep thinking the fastest way to unify the country is to do a thorough non-partisan audit and let the chips fall where they may. Problem is that NEITHER party wants all their election shenanigans exposed. (That and about 535 bullets would help. Unfortunately, as we have seen, what might get elected in their place could easily be worse than what would be lost.)

I see the Congressidiots are also trying to use the ‘insurrection’ clause against Cruz et al. In four brief years we have gone from ‘the Russians ran the election’ to ‘if you question the election you are committing high crimes and insurrection.’ Gotta love double standards.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

If it weren’t for double standards, the swamp critters of DC would have none at all!

    • MI Ranger says:

Yeah, it is amazing that they say they are for Law and Order, but when someone tries to jump through all the hoops they put in place and achieves their high mark, they accuse him of trying to circumvent the will of the people!!

I seem to recall them all doing it four years ago.

What we really need is Term limits. A total of 20 years in Congress (that we give Senators a maximum of three terms, maybe after a term in the House). This gives them enough time to learnt he ropes, be effective and move out!!! Anymore and you are a part of the Swamp.

      • OWB says:

Not sure about that. Most of them seem to become swamp critters about 2 weeks after arriving. Is it something in the water? Do they get an inoculation??

  7. Wireman611 says:

Between the worries about the loyalty of the troops and the mysterious lurking right wing rioters, I can see the new administration’s need for a security apparatus on par with the standing military. Just like Obama wanted.

    • Forest Bondurant says:

It’s breathtaking how stupid the media is.

…and I’m not surprised a bit how many people buy into everything they’re reading, seeing and hearing. It’s though most of America has quit thinking for itself and is letting the gov’t tell them what to think.

Someone ought to write a story about that.

Go outside these boundaries and you get a noose.

This is content-neutral; it applies to everyone with no regard to ideology or political party.

Now I’m done with this topic. Show me a peaceful, unarmed pro-Trump protest in my area and I’ll happily contribute. I still respect Trump. I wanted him to win. Sadly, he didn’t. There’s nothing that will change that now.

    • Slow Joe says:

So, you got no problem with the Dems stealing the presidential election or the precedent that sets.

You are ok with the Dems stealing all the presidential elections for the rest of this century.

      Got it.

    • Slow Joe says:

I don’t think you are a bad person, Xyzzy.

You are just ignoring the danger our beloved Republic is in and the type of enemy we are facing.

You cannot be gentlemanly with the Left. Their core value is that the end justifies the means, and they are willing to do anything to win.

There is only one way to deal with the Left. To defeat them.
      History demonstrates thus.

Just fyi, .556 is near $1 a round these day.
( bought some on a quick break at $85 (I know a LOT!) but after shipping and handline and taxes, it wa closer to $.93. Again, I’m going to shoot the real 5.56 sparingly at the range when needed. I hear they have a .22LR conversion kit from CMMG company, for the AR-15 you can swap out the bolts on and fire/train with 22LR perfectly without a problem in “your” AR-15.
9mm is about $.65 and 22LR today has gone up ridiculous amounts in the last week or two.
Back in the day it was like $.05 I heard. Now it was 10, 11, 12, 15 and $.18 a round.
Today 1/13/21 closer to Biden/Hiden Day 1.0, it’s $.40 a round. Near somewhere 8 times, (more like 4 ish, really, in my limited experience) a round than it used to be.
Many of the magazines and online periodicals say by Summer 2021, things should be slower to normal. I think like toilet paper.

  21. SteelyI says:

I have one question for all of you: To what end? I understand your grievances, but what do you think an armed insurrection will accomplish?

Everyone will believe what they want, but when the courts and legislature has validated the results of an election, you have to accept those results and move on.

The fact is that the Trump campaign tried and failed (to the tune of 60+ lawsuits) to prove fraud, manipulation, or even human error to the degree that would change the election results.

I know many of you believe the Deep State, to include a number of Republican governors, as well as US and State legislators were all in on it. There is no actual evidence for this conspiracy.

Some remain convinced that the actual violence last week was caused by Antifa infiltrators. Again, no evidence, and plenty of evidence that those that stormed the capitol were Trump supporters- by their own admission and statements from their families.

I understand that a lot of people are angry, and why, and how they might be more than a bit concerned what a Democrat run government will do. I am no fan of Joe Biden, and I think that some of the more radical Democrats in Congress (AOC, et al), have some very dangerous ideas.

We are one election away from changing all of that. Biden was elected president, not king.

On the other hand, all of this talk of revolution or succession is ridiculous. Again, to what end? What do you think it will achieve? The most ridiculous thing about the storming of the capitol is that it had no chance of actually achieving anything.

Of course, the cost in blood and treasure would far outweigh the return, but it won’t work: it is a doomed cause.

Literally destroying the country, splitting it in half, and dismantling its governance would send the United States tumbling down into second or even third rate power status. No one would win- certainly not the insurrectionists, and we would be killing fellow Americans in the process.

What about secession? Aside from the fact that I seriously doubt that any state would actually secede because they have far too much to lose, who would secede from whom? This isn’t 1861. Look at the electoral map and you would get a pretty good idea of what this nation would look like divided. There is also no guarantee that Republican states would secede.

Worse yet, within those states, there is a clear divide between the cities and the rural areas, and in many cases even the large metropolitan areas are divided.

In other words, you would not end up with a Union and Confederacy, you would end up with Afghanistan with several megacities that would soon closely resemble Baghdad. If you’ve never been, both places suck.

All of this talk is aimless, without factual merit, and is oblivious to the obvious ends. In a word, dangerous.

I know this will be extremely unpopular here, and I am tempted to continue my recent practice and ignore any responses, which I predict will mostly be personal attacks with a smattering of baseless conspiracy theories. However, since I think this is important, I will respond to anyone with an actual question or substantive comment.

    • Mason says:

Why are you of the opinion that anyone here wants an armed insurrection?

      • SteelyI says:

I said that the idea of armed insurrection is ridiculous.

That said, I find it interesting that you placed an emphasis on ‘wants’ an armed insurrection. Clearly, no sane person would want armed insurrection or war, but many might think it is the best course of action.

        • Poetrooper says:

You’re reading far too much into the comments, SteelyI. While there have been mentions that the extant situation may deteriorate into violence, I don’t think anyone here is actively endorsing violence or secession as a workable solution.

Your fevered brain is outpacing us…

          • 5JC says:

Maybe Steely is like the media and Twitter. You know how they read the POTUS’s mind and determined what he was thinking. That is why Twitter had to ban him.

I just wish they would hurry up and read the minds of the people running the Chinese Embassy Twitter when they talk about mass sterilization and pacification of the Uighurs to wipe them out and this is not is not a TOS violation. Or when the Ayotollah calls for destroying Israel with nuclear fire they cant seem to figure out what he means by that.

But Steely for reals you really think that people; “have to accept those results and move on”? Have you ever even opened a book on human history in your whole life? Because that certainly isn’t what I recall from the history books. Hell, not even current events. The last four years have been all about the Democratic Party NOT accepting the results of the 2016 election and stirring up shit about it.

If the left wing can manufacture their own set of facts (lies) the right wing will feel entitled to as well. The last four years have also been about legitimizing violent riots and looting as a form of protest. Now they want to unbreak some eggs because the right took it to a place where it could make a difference. From the perspective of the protestors they are saving democracy, just like Nancy Pelosi was with four years of manufacturing lies about Russia.

I suppose if someone who wasn’t mentally incompetent had been elected president he or she could go out and figure out a way to calm the masses. That isn’t what happened. Instead we got dementia guy. He appears to barely know what is going on around him most of the time and is no way prepared to tackle the problems the protests have the potential to bring.

              So, what do you propose?

I find it interesting that you accept that the right is manufacturing lies. That’s not a good look, chief.

Are you just an internet loudmouth who spouts a bunch of nonsense with no evidence and then vaguely says he will do something, or do you have something of value to say?

Cannot claim to read every word posted here, but if anyone advocated anything remotely like violence, insurrection, secession, or any of the other negative things you cite, I missed it.

What I have seen are observations, based upon years of training, that it appears to be where the country is heading. I expect that greater than half the posters here have years of experience and training in making such observations.

For instance, I observed a speeding truck the last time I was on the interstate. Telling you about that speeding truck is NOT advocating speeding, endorsing the brand of the truck, or anything else beyond sharing a story with you about a single truck speeding at a moment in time. Suggesting otherwise says more about you than me.
