Two arrested, one wanted in connection with burglary at Stettin shooting range

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man suspected of breaking into an indoor shooting range and retail firearms store Sunday evening.

At 10:53 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a burglary at Zingers and Flingers, 229179 Marathon County O, Stettin, according to a news release from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office.

Issac D. Tomek and Brock A. Rhode broke into the business by smashing out windows, according to the news release. The business owner was in his back office and heard the noise. The owner got a rifle and went to the entry of the business where Tomek and Rhode confronted him, according to the release.

The owner fired several rounds from his rifle and Tomek and Rhode ran, according to the news release.

Good on the gunz store owner for confronting the trash. A little more range time or being armed with a Mossy Maverick, he coulda cooked their goose and put them on ice, man. We needs a trifecta DRT for WW…don’t want the boy losing that loving feeling for us. Too much of a danger zone.
