Vote fraud

| September 9, 2020

We’re told by the left the voter fraud is rare, despite common sense and evidence to the contrary. Voter fraud database.

In last summer’s primary, some significant irregularities were uncovered in Georgia;

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Tuesday that 1,000 Georgians voted twice in the state’s June 9 primary, a felony that he said will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

These voters submitted absentee ballots but also voted in person, a problem that happened across 100 Georgia counties, and election officials didn’t catch them in time to keep the second votes from being tallied, Raffensperger announced during a press conference outside the state Capitol.

“A double voter knows exactly what they’re doing, diluting the votes of each and every voter that follows the law,” Raffensperger said. “Those that make the choice to game the system are breaking the law. And as secretary of state, I will not tolerate it.”

It was not immediately clear whether the outcome of any races may have been affected.

Raffensperger said his office’s investigators will hand the findings over to the state attorney general and local district attorneys for possible prosecution. Double voting is a felony that is punishable by one to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000, Raffensperger said.

About 150,000 of the Georgia voters who requested absentee ballots for the June primary later showed up to vote in person, Raffensperger said. One thousand of them ended up casting a second ballot, and his office intends to investigate every case thoroughly, he said.

When he first took office, Trump he instituted a commission to look into voter fraud. The commission was disbanded several months later when states (mostly Democratic-run, but a few Republican) refused to cooperate with the commission. If it’s so rare, then why not cooperate and prove them wrong?

A thousand votes can sway a close election. One hundred and fifty thousand in a statewide race can make a landslide victory or defeat.

“Democrats Hold Secret Edge If Election Is Too Close to Call,” by Mark Niquette and Kartikay Mehrotra, Bloomberg, 5 Sep 2020, https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-05/democrats-hold-secret-edge-if-election-is-too-close-to-call

1980 was my first election to vote in. I got the normal snail mail campaign flyers from the two presidential candidates.

The one from Carter started out “Dear Voter”.

The one from Reagan started out “Dear ***r***”

When I went to vote, someone had already cast an absentee ballot in my name.

As I have a pretty uncommon surname and lived in a VERY small town, we all looked at each other and laughed while the election official went and got me a ballot.

Ballot harvesting is a grift as old as Illinois Democrats.

As the joke goes, you can vote Republican all your life, but once you die you are a reliable democrat voter…

Heck, in IL even dogs and cats vote–always for dems, of course.

If it weren’t for voter fraud there would be a lot fewer D-rats in Office.

Wasn’t it Stalin who said something akin to “who votes does not matter as much as who counts the votes”?

Hondo

While that wasn’t Stalin’s exact words, it does indeed convey the meaning of a something Stalin is reported to have actually said.

Stalin’s exact words, according to his former personal secretary Boris Bazhanov, were: “Я считаю, что совершенно неважно, кто и как будет в партии голосовать; но вот что чрезвычайно важно, это кто и как будет считать голоса.” That quote translates as: “I regard it as completely unimportant who in the party will vote and how, but it is extremely important who will count the votes and how.”

To anyone with even a moron’s intellect, Stalin’s meaning is clear: Stalin was saying that those who count the votes have the power to determine an election’s outcome regardless of the actual votes cast.

Stalin was referring to a Communist Party election in the USSR when he made that statement. That fact falls in the “true but irrelevant” category. In the USSR, the Communist Party was the only authorized political party and ruled with an iron hand. Thus, Stalin’s quote for all practical purposes says precisely what you indicated.

Two of those articles have hugely misleading headlines – while the text of their articles document that Stalin in fact said what I’ve quoted above. Decide for yourself why Politifact’s and Stopblablacam’s headlines says the exact opposite of what their articles text indicates a close associate of Stalin claimed that Stalin in fact said. (Snopes’ rating is “mixed”, but both their rating and article does indicate that Stalin said something like that. Their article’s text also indicates that Stalin said what I’ve quoted above.)

Unka Joe, Democrats’ hero and role model for “social justice” and power… when they’re not idolizing Mao, of course.

OWB

The only way to keep voter fraud to the absolute bare minimum is to reduce the opportunities for fraud to occur.

It really IS that simple.

Hondo

Yep. When someone thinks something of value can be gained by fraud, you can bet your last penny that someone will – sooner or later – make the attempt. Minimizing the opportunities, coupled with hammering those found guilty of making the attempt, is the only viable strategy to minimize the problem.

OWB

Absolutely.

Jeff and I have the same reading and forwarding interests. Sick minds DO think alike. The demonrats learned a hard lesson in ’16. They just knew from the “polls” and just “knew” that it was going to be “her turn.” The isolated incidents of more votes being cast than registered voters was chalked up as an anomaly. The extry “3 million in popular votes” were applied to the wrong states. That pesky electoral college got in the way. Oops! They won’t make that same mistake this time. Big difference in “absentee balloting” and “mail in voting.” This years primaries were the test bed. It is not as scary about the 1K that got away with it as it is the 150K that TRIED to get away with it. Get Hondo to do the math. What if 1K out of every 150K get by and you have 25 million that try? Or more? Hmmm…. I’ve made mention of the number of “requests for mail in voting applications” I’ve received over the last 4 months. Got 2 more last week. Met with a Compatriot from a county 2 counties over this weekend at the Memorial Service. His is one of those areas that for DECADES voter fraud was a given. True yellow dog demonrat country. It is still on going, openly. Has gotten a tad better than a few years back, but there are still dead people voting and a number of people that live on or near the county and precinct lines that get away with voting several times. You have to prove who you are, with a picture ID, for so many other things in life, what is the problem with proving that you are not only a legal voter, but that you are in fact who you claim to be. I, for one, will not believe that a creepy, dirty old white man and a known loose morals person has legitimately gotten more votes than Trump in the upcoming election. Even my Black friends, and I do have a goodly number of them, are voting Trump. So are my… Read more »

Well, Gun Bunny, I got the request for the mail-in ballot in the mail, and the deadline for sending it back approaches.

I decided, since the polling place is only a short distance from where I live, that I would hang onto that and go vote in person.

It’s at town hall, right next to the police station, you see, so people should be orderly.

And since the polling place does require a match of the signature on file, I will have the blank request with me, along with my ID (if it’s needed), and if anyone tells me I already voted, I will throw a fit and sit in it, after I show them the request, return envelope and all, that I did NOT send back.

Someone will have some real explaining to do. 🙂

5th/77th FA

My plan too. I have kept the original from the SecState Office with my name as it’s printed on the voter rolls. I can literally walk to the early voting at the Court House, show my ID, vote, and then cross the street to the local owned cafe for b’fast or lunch.

Or, I can wait till the day, drive to the voting place, show my ID, and unfilled absentee ballot request, vote, and still go to either of the locally owned cafes for b’fast or lunch.

Either way, Imma winning. Now if we could just get Only Army Mom to share that bacon/cookie recipe she was toying with us with the other day, I might be a’grinnin. Or could die happy with a balanced diet of one in each hand!

Ex-PH2

Are you gonna get pancakes if you do that?

5th/77th FA

Yes’sum, with genuine (sugar) cane syrup. And some locally produced sausages made like the ones from ‘Ed’s Monday post or Hickory smoked bacon that you would’ve thought was picked fresh from a hickory tree. That’s local too.

Did I make mention that the cat heads are so light n fluffy that you HAVE TO weigh them down with either country ham, sausage, bacon, or gravy.

Ex-PH2

OH, now you’ve gone and done it!

I was planning to wait until I can get the appliance guy to come and put a new oven igniter in the oven, maybe next month, so that I can do a bit of baking. And I have real serious strawberry jam, just for thsoe biscuits, too.

5th/77th FA

The pancakes are just as fluffy n lite. You could use either of them to replace the helium in party balloons or put a string and tail to fly ’em like a kite. If that same weather pattern that hit Colorado and then Nebraska is heading your way, might want to give the stove man a call. Sister M called me this AM for a nice chat. The temp Monday(?) was 100 in Pender. It was 42 the next day. She gave me a heads up on the last Female SGT Maj of the Corps Reserves (3 War Vet) who went to high school there had a donation made in her name from descendants to the local museum. Grace Carle USMC. Imma gonna followup on that. The local paper was there.

You say strawberry? Back when I could go to Tampa alone (pre 28 Mar ’18) Grand Baby Boy’s Birthday was in the FIRST 1/2 of March. They always had the big Strawberry Festival celebrating the crop and we would go. Not saying you could get some big ones, but ever ate a strawberry like it was an apple? Or a pitless peach/nectarine? Good Times.

Ex-PH2

…but ever ate a strawberry like it was an apple?

Why, yes – yes, I did. This past summer. Took six chunks out of it, sweet as morning sunrise.

It’s cold and rainy here and I had to turn on the furnace, put in new filters, and take stock of how many I need to get through winter. May not be harsh, but it may also start early. That means get birdfood and squirrel stuff.

5th/77th FA

😀 Just so we can stay within flagpole distance of the thread subject, for ‘Ed’s sake, I bet the birds and squirrels vote for your Kingdom as the best critter buffet in the ‘hood. And there are no fake seeds or nuts put out that are frauds.

Close enough? 😛

Ex-PH2

Close enough for government work!

5th/77th FA

Ironically enough, I finally took the time just a few minutes ago to check the mail box here at Fire Base Magnolia. Low and behold, there was ANOTHER mail in ballot request in there. 😆 😆

11B-Mailclerk

I predict records will be broken this year:

An all-time modern high of precincts with 100+ percent turnout.

The first modern instance of a precinct with 200+ percent turnout.

I don’t think we will have any “Battle of Athens” reenactments, but at least one state will see a record level of poll violence beyond isolated fistfights.

Ex-PH2

Yeah, y’know, even my deceased father may vote.

Berliner

Can’t take credit for this but read elsewhere on the Interwebs that Georgia Governor Stacey Abrams will conduct a thorough investigation.

The only thing that morbidly fat neckless twat could investigate is the double cheeseburger thrown in front of her.

Arizona has voted by mail, by request for several decades. Last election 78% of the ballot was by mail. Republicans won. Go figure …
