Are You Voting for Joe Biden?

Seems like only yesterday, nobody in Foggy Bottom and elsewhere liked Pres. Trump. The media mavens didn’t like him. People didn’t like anyone wearing a red t-shirt or a red baseball cap.

So now, this bunch of yo-yo government stooges are bonding together to support Joe Biden. These are your tax dollars at work, people.

From the article: WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Dozens of Republican former U.S. national security officials are forming a group that will back Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, people familiar with the effort said, in a further sign that President Donald Trump has alienated some members of his own party. – article

I’d be less surprised if they had decided to back Bernie, whose mind has not yet turned into pudding, or even Fauxcahontas. Both of them are at least cogent and mentally aware of the world. That would make some sort of sense. Yes, I know: both of them have stepped back, but still, if you had a choice between someone whose mind has turned to slush or someone who is maybe/maybe not tough as nails, wouldn’t it make more sense to support the tough guy?

But Biden? Don’t they know that Biden’s a stooge for Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest of the Democrats? Okay, it’s very likely they do. Likewise, it’s also very likely that they are RINOs looking for a pat on the head from the Democrats.  These are the kind of people who change their position with the way the wind blows them.

This should be interesting at the very least.

Nope. Not voting for Biden. And no one I know will be voting for him either. Well, in all fairness, surely some people I know will vote for him, but most people I know just don’t talk much about how they vote.

What I will say is that a few neighbors have quietly asked me to explain stuff they see on the alphabet soup channels that is making no sense to them. Lifelong Dems, complaining about the slant from the networks they have trusted all their lives. It’s sad and I feel bad for them.

Keep up the great work, networks. You are driving voters to vote for Trump. In spite of these never Trumpers showing the true depth of the swamp.

These people are the very heart and epitome of what Skippy and I talked about yesterday on a comment. The deep state is made up of power hungry entrenched politicians/grubmint lackeys that are/have been part of the swamp that is DC for decades. They are concerned that if Trump gets a chance to expose all of the corruption that is DC he will expose them too. Bragging that you served with Reagan or Bush 1 just means you have been part of the establishment for 30 some odd years, you have done enough damage and it is time to go home. And Bush 2? Give me a break. His punk ass self sold out years ago. The only thing he had going for him was Laura was hot. Anybody else notice how cozy Junior was with Cigar Bill and the JEF?

Trump could reassure his election in a heartbeat by telling Barr to start investigating the true domestic enemies of this country. If there is anybody out there that thinks Biden and Company is NOT filthy dirty, then they are as addle brained as he is.

It will be very interesting to see what happens in November. There is no way that some people (depending on their community or family) could ever publicly support Trump, but at the privacy of the voting booth, will make a decision contrary to their public pronouncements.

Next, I started to say “as for republicans” with Republicans in quotes. I was going to suggest that the political class has left what being a Republican really means (i.e. a RINO). I decided, however, being a wishy washy, spineless, swamp dwelling, duplicitous, piece of crap is EXACTLY what most professional Republicans are. The only “Republicans” are the true conservatives who don’t generally fill the seats in our oh so hallowed capitol. I wish the whole thing could be burned down and a new party formed with true conservative values being something shared between all members and professional politicians would work actively toward conservative goals. But with our two party system, I don’t see a way forward. I know I don’t always have the vision it takes for transformative things like this.

I hope someone does.

Watching Biden is like watching “Weekend at Bernie’s”. He’s about that alive.

Can I vote for Jo Jorgensen?

Or is my vote for a third party really a vote for Biden…because the Biden people are telling me a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump…

Does that mean if I do vote for Jo Jorgensen it’s like casting three votes? one for her, one for Trump(per Biden’s people) and one for Biden (per Trump’s people)…

Three votes would be nice…because once I’m dead we all know I’m gonna vote Democrat.

crzypvt

You should remind your blue friends that they aren’t voting for Jo because they are sexist.

Historically speaking, 3rd party candidates tend to draw votes away from the incumbent or party in power.

Consider Jill Stein. She likely drew enough votes away from Hillary in WI, MI, and PA that had she not run, Clinton could have likely won.

Similar circumstances existed in 1968, 1980, 1992, and 2000, to name a few.

I’ve been a registered Republican Party member for 40 years and always vote for the party slate. I’m more involved in voting at the local level than in federal elections. All politics is local and my wallet is fleeced more by local taxation than federal.

I did not vote in the 2016 presidential election. I may vote this fall, but not because I favor Trump as the GOP nominee. I simply find Biden more abhorrent and loathsome than The Orange Man. For me, it’s voting for the lesser of two evils. Both are uniformly devoid of integrity, morality, and merit yet whom will harm me less – Trump or Biden? Probably Trump.

Hack Stone

Trump did not secure the White House by people voting for him. He won by people voting against Hillary Clinton.

NHSparky

Someone needs to remind Trump of this small but critical fact.

Slow Joe

Wow.

I just can’t comprehend how you can argue that Trump is a bad President when he got the economy running like never before and fixed most of the issues with our foreign policy.

I don’t know but to me it comes down to three single issues.

1) Free market capitalism
2) Small gruberment
3) Constitutional rights

In that order, because without a free market economy there is no small government, and without a small government you can kiss our constitutional freedoms goodbye.

Joe was funny in the beginning, when it was a crowded field. Now that he’s the Last Man Standing, it is truly Elder Abuse what they are doing to the guy. I honestly don’t think he knows what day of the week it is half the time. That is the biggest X-factor out there. He previously came out and said his VP pick should be ready to be President DAY ONE. Okay, dandy. So who would be the new VP then? People voting for Biden are voting for an UNKNOWN and that is scary as hell.

MarineDad61

Knowing that Joe Biden spent decades scapegoating
an innocent truck driver
for the deaths of his 1st wife and daughter,
as a drunk driver who “drank his lunch”,
when it was his wife who blew through a stop sign
on a busy 2 lane Delaware state highway….
is totally unforgivable.

I’d even vote for (ugh) Hillary before I vote for Joe Biden.

Skippy

F$&@ Biden he should be in prison
Along with a few other people
But it won’t happen

Roh-Dog

It’s just TPTB statists grasping at the rope as they free fall into irrelevancy.
Screw them, and I mean ALL OF THEM, with a 2×4 stud wrapped in C-wire, smothered in habanero hot sauce…sideways.
We will always be the arbiters of power, NOT you clowns!
Eternal vigilance.

The backing of Creepy Uncle Joe isn’t a surprise. He represents “The Swamp”, and the old way of failing upward for government employees. Trump comes from the private business world where poor performance is NOT rewarded. In my 4 short years, I learned how ‘the game’ was played. What to do and not do to. My first 2 years had a few bumps, but I learned.
Trump comes and his way doing things goes against everything these guys were used to; didn’t matter if it was R or D residing in the White House. They knew they were secure within the bureaucracy. That’s why they hate him…he changed things.

Mason

I did as Sleepy Joe suggested and took a look. I didn’t like what I saw, so I’m going to vote for the other Biden.

Skippy

Lack of leadership from the current administration
To me is telling it’s like Obama pt 2
Telegraphing and take no action on foreign policy and domestic issues. Biden is more of the same ole
Swamp turds that trump promised to drain but hasn’t done kinda like the 2016 election drama
I’m definitely looking at third party candidates
I can’t stand either of these shitbags
I thought I was alone but here in the oil patch
Most people around here are finished with trump
And are definitely not pushing the button for Biden
What a cluster fuk

I think Trump’s picks for judges run better on average than we could expect from the other folks.

He has made some real change there, which I suspect is the main reason the Left has totally lost their shit. (Example – 9th Circus)

Not perfect, not enough, but far better than the alternatives.

I have a hunch a prosecutorial boot may soon drop. It remains to be seen if it is a size 13 or a 2.

Skippy

the bump in COVID Mania cases and the
Group getting hit the hardest is telling
20-30 age group after 3 weeks of protests the chickens are coming home
Maybe the Republicans can use this
To hit home the bigger picture
The media is already in cover up mode
Over this
