The subject of this article is is another whackadoodle who has been outed for faking being half black, scamming scholarship money that could have gone to someone who needed it. He’s been raging against the world, but in particular, he wants a Kristallnacht against white Christians.

That was a June 22 tweet from Shaun King, and the “far-left activist,” wasn’t done.

The casual reader might wonder about this man Shaun King, so eager for a Christian Kristallnacht. As Fox News noted, King was “a surrogate for Sen. Bernie Sanders,” and introduced the Vermont socialist at a rally for his presidential bid. Bernie Sanders is big fan of Denmark, so King’s anti-Jesus tweets may be a form of socialist distancing. For their part, other groups on the left have been distancing themselves from Shaun King.
“King was once a leading voice in the Black Lives Matter movement,” according to Fox News, “but fell from grace when his race was questioned and he was accused of being a Caucasian falsely portraying himself as black.” In the 2015 “The Shaun King Controversy Explained,” German Lopez delved into the back story.
Shaun King had “been told” that his actual father was a light-skinned black man. Lopez found that official sources in Kentucky listed the father as Jeffery Wayne King, like his mother “also white.” A family member also told CNN that King’s parents were both white, but King claimed he didn’t lie about using his race to obtain an Oprah Scholarship to historically black Morehouse College. – article
I suggest you read the entire article, which includes an item that some militants from the Middle East were planning to destroy the Statue of Liberty with pressure cooker bombs. They were busted for it. It can make your blood pressure rise when you read this stuff, but it’s best to be informed instead of kept in the dark.

My mom is somewhat of an amature Egyptologist. That is to say she knows SHIT-TONS about ancient Egypt, but doesn’t have the schooling or knowledge of foreign languages that you would need to be “official”.
Anyway, she used to run into people at Egyptology events (they have those) that would be the Afrocentric kind (folks that would wear the Africa t-shirts and medallions that were popular in the 90s) who would go on about Nefertiti being black and other such things. My mother would ask them why, if the ancient Egyptians were akin to western/sub-Saharan Africans, did they portray themselves differently in their art and statues then the Nubians who DID look “black”.
They never seemed to have a good answer for that.

I don’t know of any good sources for learning Coptic, except maybe making friends with an orthodox priest.
There are plenty of free sources online for the various periods of hieroglyphics.
In regards to ancient Egypt, Arabic (and I say this as an Arabic speaker) is only useful for reading works of some modern scholars, and most of that is already in English or German – probably not worth the effort.

As far as white Jesus goes, there is a white Jesus for the same reason that there is a black Jesus and a Korean Jesus. Artists just painted Him to look like them.

I wrote a paper for an Art Appreciation class titled “Black Jesus”. The main subject was a large painting on the exterior of a church in upstate NY.
Neither really makes sense to me, but a white man with a darker complexion identifying as a black man seems to make more sense than a man identifying as a woman.
I know a few black people of Caribbean descent who reject the term African-American as inaccurate (beyond the idea that we all, ultimately, have African origins). They prefer “black,” a term which could arguably describe Mr. King as accurately as could “white.”
Yes, but if you look at the photo of him, he is Mr. Pallid Personified, without even a mole to disrupt that pale landscape.
