UN Human Rights Counsel to Review US Racism and Police Brutality

| June 17, 2020

African nations are pushing for a UN inquiry into the US and other nations. The subject of the inquiry will involve “systematic racism” and “police brutality.” The main focus appears to be the US. The countries asking for this inquiry were motivated by George Floyd’s death and to the subsequent treatment of the protesters.

From Thompson/Reuters:

The Council agreed to convene at the request of Burkina Faso on behalf of African countries after the death last month of George Floyd, an African American, in police custody in Minneapolis, which ignited protests worldwide.

The United States quit the Council two years ago alleging bias against its ally Israel.

A senior U.S. diplomat in Geneva defended its record, saying: “Our transparency, commitment to a free press, and insistence on the right to justice allow the world to see our problems and openly engage on our efforts at finding solutions.”

“And when violations of people’s rights are committed we hold people accountable through independent courts, and through an independent media,” he added.

The resolution, subject to change after negotiation at the Council, calls for “an independent international commission of inquiry … to establish facts and circumstances related to the systemic racism, alleged violations of international human rights law and abuses against Africans and of people of African descent in the United States of America and other parts of the world”.

China has influence in Africa, they have been nourishing this through its “Belt and Road Initiative”. They might be enabling this. They’re in all-out propaganda mode, an inquiry like this would fit right into their narrative. Reuters has more here.

Lars,,,You out there?
OVER

Ret_25X

Kummissar is busy applying for a job with them right now…he can’t come by at the minute.

Later, after he has “applied” and been offered the “job” he can pretend he works and collect a nice fat payday funded by the US taxpayers he hates so deeply.

Isn’t it interesting that the nations of the world and the lefties in the US all line up at the taxpayer’s wallets, but hate us?

My dad always said not to help anyone with a hand out but offer work. Earning something builds pride, getting a handout builds resentment.

He was correct. I miss him.

WHO LEFT THEIR SKIVVIES ON MY HEAD?

No surprise here and as we go into November
The amount of bullshit that’s going to surface
Will be incredible and completely made up
But the crazy one running to show
Has been about talking and not doing Anything
No one will ever be held accountable for anything
So no surprise That I won’t vote republican
This November unless something changes
Quickly!!!! But knowing how republicans work
I won’t hold my breath either

MustangCryppie

Who’s running it this week? Iran?

Iran / China and all the 2nd and 3rd party

Sharks with lasers?

MSG Eric

I’d prefer sharks with lasers to China and Iran.

Yes, Africa…not like they don’t have Warlords, AIDS, and rampant corruption.

A Proud Infidel®™

As well as rampant persecution of Christianity.

MSG Eric

These days AIDS is really the least of Africa’s problems.

It’s surprising to say, but that’s reality there.

Mason

You don’t trust countries that have a coup every year or two?

5th/77th FA

Another calculated, well thought out, and deliberate attack on our Country. And all because that that murderous trash from hell, dasHitlerbeast, THE Bitch of Benghazi, didn’t get HER turn. Connect the dots…follow the money.

Anyone else see the irony of Africans claiming that the USA has been oppressing Africans? Didn’t think you’d miss it.

MI Ranger

Didn’t Africans enslave other tribes, and sell them off to Dutch and English colonists to be imported into the United States?!!!

We should send the “Reparations” bill to them!

5th/77th FA

Yes and yes. Plus Portugal, the Arabs, the Spaniards, and the Chinese ALL bought slaves from the Africans that had bought/kidnapped other Africans. Guns, cloth and beads were primary trade goods. And in the grand scheme of things it was a very small number of these that were brought to the US. And NOT.A.SINGLE.ONE was documented to have been brought in on a ship bearing any type of Confederate Flag.

Historical tidbit. All Africans earmarked for export into China were castrated before shipment to ensure the purity of the Chinese Race. Wonder how that will make the Africans who are sucking up to the Chinese feel?

I guess running around cutting off other tribes penis’s was ok with them. Killing white farmers is also cool.

An utterly corrupt and useless organizations said what?

Anyone that matters cares?

Didn’t think so.

Why, exactly, do we fund that cesspit?

If the was still alive, Pol Pot would have been heading up the UN human rights council at some point. It has been a cruel joke for over fifty years.

Fuck the United Nothing and the horse it rode in in.

Slow Joe

Well, at least you didn’t say white horse. That would have been teh racisss.

It’s the UN, what could go wrong?

Duane

Time for the UN to find another home. Maybe someplace on a isolated island?

A Proud Infidel®™

I’d rather they set up shop in say, Mogadishu or Monrovia, Liberia.

OAE CPO USN Ret

UN? Never heard of her.

African nations should push for something else… say, competent leadership and structure in their governments? An end to corruption and disease caused by just being absolutely filthy and inept? A push to join 2020 and leave 200 BC?

I did the PL480 grain/food runs there for a good while for the World Food Program. I doubt 1/4 of it found its way to the folks who needed it.

YVETTE WALKER

I guess not. I kept it in the family, for I, even I a commenter here, don’t own anything. As for my soul, that belongs to God. We are all a part of God. Let us pray for the United States, specifically for the American people. I would like to thank the cadre for changing my comments.

FIXED.

Anybody else following the story that a large part of the Atlanta PD has walked off the job after the DA there charged the officer in the shooting the other day with felony murder? Live streams of Fulton county dispatch have almost no activity right now.

Ex-PH2

I do wish you had posted a spew alert, JL. I was just about ready to go after my giant soup mug of sausage and white bean/tomato/chopped veggie stew.

MSG Eric

Got a link for that?

Mason

Haven’t seen anything official, but word through the grapevine is that 4 of the 6 zones (districts/precincts) were devoid of police. The ones that were there weren’t answering calls to the point that dispatch quit airing them. Hundreds of calls on hold. Check any of those police scanner apps. Crickets.

rgr769

I suspect the natives will become extremely restless once they realize there is no one out there to arrest them after their crime sprees.

MustangCryppie

Can you say, “New Orleans after Katrina”?

I knew you could!

Mason

Murray-Hill riots. That was peaceful Canadians unable to go a day without cops. Atlanta is no Canada.

5th/77th FA

A little update to this story, just released. Not surprised.one.damn.bit! Wonder how many of the African Nations will be paying reparations?

https://www.foxnews.com/world/un-human-rights-chief-urges-reparations-slavery-colonialism

MSG Eric

Are the African Nations that captured, bought, and sold slaves, including slaves from European countries, going to pay reparations? If that’s the case then I fully support them doing that.

A Proud Infidel®™️

The same United Nothing that ignores Human Rights abuses and violations in places like Iran and China comes after US? Fuck them to the ten millionth degree!!!

11B-Mailclerk

Defund them. Order them off the island.

Turn the building into low rent housing.

I say make it something productive, maybe a Hotel/Casino?

Evict the UN from the UN building. Then have PDJT buy it. Watch LibTard heads go ‘splody. Record & playback on PPV. Well worth the price of admission.

Has the UN Council on Human Rights made any progress investigating UN orgs for sex crimes by UN employees in Africa? Too soon?

Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

UN “Human Rights Council” .
Now THERE’S an oxymoron for ya.

RetiredDevilDoc8404

The UN, another good idea that wasn’t once push came to shove. Time for them to GTFO of the US with their thumbing their noses at traffic laws and non-payment of fines as well as the other BS they produce. Antarctica would be an excellent location since no one owns it they’ll really be in a neutral location. The day hasn’t dawned that the UN should have any input into how the US is run, time to shut off the money to these ass clowns and reclaim that real estate and turn it into something more productive – either housing or a parking lot (either would be far more productive and useful than the UN).

Veritas Omnia Vincit

The UN Human Rights Council has about the same level of integrity as Ted Kennedy on the Senate Ethics Committee….

That said we insert ourself into the internal politics of nations around the world on a somewhat regular basis. We should not be surprised that other nations might find it enjoyable to return the favor from time to time. The Chinese and Russians have never been our friends, there is seldom a benefit to treating an enemy like a favored nation.

Of the two I trust the Chinese the least.

Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

Teddy Kennedy, the Lyin’ of the Senate.
Wonder how well his alcohol infused body is burning in Hell?

timactual

In Africa police brutality and corruption is a “dog bites man” story. In the US police brutality is a “man bites dog story”.
