Howard Stern in Blackface-Where’s the Leftist Outrage?

Howard Stern claimed that he did not use the n-word. However, a video surfaced showing him using the n-word and appearing in blackface. Will he get sacked? Considering that he took swipes at conservatives, he might “get a pass”.

In the video he plays Danson, and addresses his long-time black sidekick Robin Quivers, making corny and highly racist jokes, such as, “What do you call a black rocket scientist?,” the punchline to which is the N-word.
When his audience seems shocked by the language, Stern defends himself by saying, “Whoopi wrote it!” Then he calls Quivers a “smelly” N-word, and again excuses himself by saying, “Whoopi wrote that.”
The point of the skit seems to be that Danson used Goldberg’s apparent blessing of his behavior as license to be freely racist.
Longtime Stern employee Steve Grillo of the Aftershock XL podcast network — who worked on the special — tells Page Six that he doesn’t believe Stern is racist and that he never used that language off-air. He said that because the show was on pay-per-view and wasn’t governed by Stern’s longtime nemesis the FCC, their attitude was, “We’ve got the whole world watching — let’s push the limits.” He added, “The leash was off and they were going to be rabid dogs.”
The clip was first posted by controversial filmmaker Tariq Nasheed and bubbled up among right-wing Twitter users — possibly because Stern recently came out against President Trump — and was eventually retweeted by Donald Trump Jr.

I worked in NYC from 89 to 96 and listed him religiously. The era between the mid-80’s to mid-90’s was the Golden Age of Stern. His first 2 books were great reads. Videos like ‘Butt Bongo Fiesta’ & ‘Miss Howard Stern 94’ were funny as hell. Low brow, sophomoric, and crude but they always left me laughing. Now he’s Hypocrite Howie; a sell-out to the establishment. He lost his backbone and now he’s just one of celebs he used to rail against. None of my friends that listened to him for 20 plus years have not tuned him in him in last 5 years. In total agreement with you FA. In the roughly seven years we have had Sirius, I have never been tempted to tune in Stern. Could have found the same childish antics in a local pool room that caters to younger Fonzi-like punks with no direction or future in their lives. From back in the day I still have some fond memories of great old music (Zep, Uriah Heep, etc.), as well as “recreational drugs” (acid, downs, etc.) but then I grew up. Missing from those old memories is anything to do with Stern in his early days and what followed. Were it not for today’s rioting and tolerance, I’d gladly give 100 to one odds Stern would be gone before the end of next week. These days Stern is trying to embrace a different money making listening audience and suggesting he finally realizes the error of his ways. A schmuck’s schmuck!

Now his schtick is cowering in his home/bunker out in the Hamptons taking treasure baths while being disgusted that people not making any money during a pandemic dare to go out and protest to get back to work, then went suspiciously silently about the current riots, all the while still whining about Trump, who he had a huge hand in getting elected in the first place.

I have no fukks to give about sacred words….I find the idea words have power, absurd.
However, this should be entertaining to see how they twist, contort, and otherwise justify his behavior.
Speaking of whoopy who is a gun owner, is gun control talked about on the view which I never watch but heard that she is a gun owner. I did the math and it turns out that roughly 2 million democrats are NRA members which is around 37 percent.

I tried listening to him for a while because I heard so much about how great he was. Totally boring. Maybe I would have appreciated him more when I was 13 or 14, but I doubt it.
