Scotty sends his latest on this guy, Dennis Chevalier, who claims to be a member of the Civil Air Patrol and a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and a pilot, but it turns out that he’s just a corporal in the
Texas State Guard (not to be confused with the Texas National Guard). He even claims to be a
Stolen Valor “Hunter”, but he has yet to bust any posers.
Here he is posing as a LTC in the Civil Air Patrol;
And he claims to be a retired AF LTC;
The Air Force says “Who?”
Yeah, I know he doesn’t look like he’s wired too tightly, but still, phony is a phony;
Category: Phony soldiers
@246 sparks. Yeah, Linda would say that he was tired and that was just a typo. She’s a licensed professional background checker. I think its hilarious that everything that happened tonight can be directly traced back to her and her disclosures. What a dumbass.
And seriously, that statement about no one asking him about the facts….”one person that put it all together…ME” I find the choice of his words interesting. I think most people would have said, “They never asked the one person who lived it…ME”. When he says “put it all together” he is really saying something….he constructed it, he didn’t live it.
To quote a great man: “TURD”
@249, but what a way to waste our time GT!
@249. No offense taken. Keep leading by example…I think I am getting better.
@ 250,OIF…. That’s the point. He can’t prove it. Check rides are freebies. Certifications are another. I can claim a check ride in a Marine C-130, because the flight crew called me up to the flight deck on a flight from Iceland to NY. Got to sit in the pilots seat and everything. Granted, I was the only PAX on the flight.
Trying to figure out why one of his facebook pages was “Roger F Cline” as the page name. He likes to be someone else undercover?
Apparently Roger F Cline aka Doc Chevy is at it again. Deleted his fake lil Valor page again. So he must have be on here looking.
My old unit had C-130’s does that make me an honourary crew member?
Lately it seems I’m always late for the party. But you know I can never pass up the chance to be a smartass. So I had to post on that Topix thread.
Bryan Chevalier – So glad you are alive and healed!! Since your Dad is reporting on Facebook that you were killed by a Serial Killer.
Good job on that whole parenting thing. You Boob! It’s hard remembering if your kid was shot in an accident or killed by a Serial killer when you confuse the MD by your name between being a Medical Doctor and the Mad Dog 20-20 you’re drinking! Idiot!
GD – in comment #251 You said exactly what I was thinking. You don’t say “You constructed your life”, you would say you lived it. I mean that makes life sound like a playing with Leggos. Which I hope this turdstool steps on, barefooted in the dark over a pit of rattlesnakes with Aids!
Hey, boys and girls, I looked up YaHell on Amazon books and there is a Yahel Moshe title, but I don’t know what that means, because I don’t speak Hebrew. But then I clicked on a handy-dandy link through Bing and got a Facebook page, and here it is: https://www.facebook.com/Yahellinc
It seems to be somehow aligned with vampires, gangnam, and Austin Powers, and I think there’s a headshot of Robert de Niro on there, too. Not sure what the whole thing is about, but it definitively is NOT a book.
So the links that Dennis/linda provides are mostly – nay, almost entirely deadends, right? And that means that EVERYTHING s/he/it has posted about his/her self is mostly MADE UP out of thin air and goldenrod pollen, right?
Gee, after the expert crap provided by one dandan bernastypantsman, do any of these mindf!#!#kers actually think they can pass muster AND inspection?
Give me a break!
Valkyrie, sent you an e-mail.
@249 I like to think of him as bum banging llama slapper.
@254 Seadog, Just one correction to your post. A check ride isn’t free. Pilots are given a period exam by an examiner, or check pilot, to make sure the pilot’s skills are adequate for the airframe they’re flying. That’s called a check ride. What you were on was more a fam ride, or familiarization ride. Fam rides are given to certain ground personnel, usually Air Traffic Controllers, Aircraft Dispatchers, and such, to make them more familiar with the workings of the aircraft and crew during a normal flight. As a Aircraft Dispatcher, I had to get checked out, to include at least one fam ride per year, on each airframe I was responsible for working. Before I switched over to the dark side and became a Controller, I had to take five fam rides each year for the aircraft I worked; the DC-9, DC-8, DC-10, B-727, and B-747. I wouldn’t have to take more than one ride per aircraft unless it was for differences training (One 747 type had equipment differences than another type). A better example would be the DC-10. When the last airline I worked for upgraded many of their DC-10s to MD-10s (all glass cockpit) I needed to get checked out in both types. Sorry, that was kinda long winded. Chevalier is still a turd.
EX-PH2- Tag you’re it!
GDContractor: yeah, I missed that. Seemed kinda out of his field, but I guess you never know what someone in the “headspace and timing” business will write about. Thanks for pointing out that this guy probably didn’t publish that book.
@ 264 Yes, although from that personal correspondence that I stumbled upon, it does appear that he has experience in codependency.
Take a look at this link in which he claims ATP rating. I have seen his FAA Airman certs and they do not include ATP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbqDTuAQoi4&lc=Axuy–xzd3cKZ9Nc0Di9RjBRyOrzwbAYqPs7fR7_i8g
You must scroll page down a bit so the comments will load and his comment should be first.
@264 Hondo there is a loose end rattling around in my head. Could you do dust off your criminal profiling skills and determine if this poster named “Doc” http://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=30376#comment-660626 is not possibly D H Chevalier PhD? I know it is a long shot but it is going to bother me until the possibility is eliminated. That post by Doc I linked to was apparently the last post by him on that thread at TAH… he just disappeared and quit posting for reasons unknown.
For the record I would like to deconstruct post #170. As said Dennis Chevalier PhD:
“no matter they are just to stupid to and lazy to do any real investigating”
I am confused, are we not investigating or are we going WAY TOO FAR? You want fries with that? We seem to be doing more investigating than your licensed sock puppet. For example, did you know CTU does not offer PhD’s in Psychology?
“I also see they made comments of my son as did you” No wonder you lost your medical…. you are fucking blind. At the time of your post, NO ONE had made comments about your son BUT LINDA YOUR SOCK PUPPET. She’s not very bright, is she?
As far as SV goes Chevalier is minor league. He’s pretty clearly a braggart with a very high opinion of himself, but his outright falsehoods appear to be few and obscure: one claim of having flown in Iraq, another of being a retired AF O-5. If he’d come in with anything resembling humility (“sorry guys, I was just BS’ing on a couple of forums, I’ve never claimed any of that on my resume”) this might have blown over quickly. But no – he comes in with threats, aggression, and general a-holishness, which, as usual, results in more heat and more scrutiny directed at him. Chevalier had to learn the hard way what so many others have learned: you don’t intimidate this group. If you screw up, and are called out on it here, your best bet is to come clean, the sooner the better.
@268.
I do not know about minor league.
Is this sack of shit up there with the heavyweights (Phildo, Blake, Bernath, Church, Whittenturd, etc.)? Probably not.
But questionable pilot, questionable PI service, false rank, false military service and false PhD definitely qualify.
The way I always qualify them (turds) is I ask myself “Would Commander Monkress at All Points Logistics hire this individual?”
And I believe the answer is yes.
@268 – LOL! I think Monkress should hire him, and the others. That way they’d all be in one place. Easier to keep track of, you know.
Turd Gurgler
Ass hat.
The guy definitely has an established pattern of embellishment. Just like his claim to be a state officer of the Adjutant General….near as I can tell, that means Corporal in the TSG (?).
GDContractor – regarding “Doc”, I’m reasonably certain it is not the same individual.
“Doc’s” comments appear to have originated from a single IP address in an entirely different part of the country from Chevalier’s reported location. (In contrast, “Linda’s” comments originated from an IP address in the same region in which Chevalier is reported to “hang his hat”.) Further, all of “Doc’s” comments at TAH appear on and are related to the Popovich thread; content of those comments appears consistent with personal interest in Povovich. Other info provided with “Doc’s” comments also is invariant from comment to comment and does not appear elsewhere.
Dug through Google Books to see if I could find this great work that Chevalier supposedly wrote. The only thing that I could come up with is a mention in something called United for Truth as Dennis H. Chevalier, BS, MSM, DM, CMI-I on p. 75. Interestingly, the PhD isn’t listed, but DM was added. From my other quick look, I’d guess that the DM isn’t quite as academically demanding as a PhD based on the granting universities.
Bobo: per “Linda” above, Chevalier’s “doctorate” is allegedly from Colorado Technical University. According to this document from CTU, a DM appears to be essentially a “PhD Lite” – e.g., a PhD w/o the requirement for unique research documented by a dissertation.
http://www.coloradotech.edu/~/media/CTU/Files/ThoughtLeadership/dm-or-phd.ashx
The title “Dr.” is considered appropriate for those with a DM. CTU says it’s typically used to prepare persons for administration and/or management vice research.
In short: a DM is nothing to sneeze at (if someone in fact has one, of course). But also not the same as a PhD.
@273. Thanks Hondo. Like I said it was just a loose end that was on my mind given Chevalier’s affinity for the name “Doc” and his poor self esteem. Glad it was easily discounted.
No worry GI. (smile) We do have a few j-holes who show up periodically or at random who have a beef with Jonn or others here. Always a decent idea to double-check if something seems “a bit off”. Something it really is a bit off.
Hondo: granted, a DM is a result of a lot of hard work. I’ve known and worked with (I’m sure as most of us here have) folks with various advanced and doctorial degrees, and I have never seen one who had earned something other than a PhD use PhD in their signature block.
When people ask me where I got my DM, I just tell them the truth…. Robitusin.
DENNIS CHEVALIER THE AIR FORCE POSER, I have far more respect for a DOG TURD on the sidewalk than I do for you!!
Per this link which was cached in March of 2006, he was claiming a PhD degree in Psychology even back then. Notice his “work” email address at the time: psychologist@charter.net
I amend my earlier comment in which I invoked The Bernath (Hon). This turd smells like a Bernath (Hon), with a strong hint of Banks. Makes me wonder how his sandwich making skills are…

Here’s an example of “Lt. Col. (Dr.) Dennis H. Chevalier, IPC, CPPP, member-ACFEI, USAF-Medically retired” helping veterans:
Hello Sir,
I have never seen a more impressive collection of challenge coins for sale. Most of mine were taken or stolen over the years. I had over 33.
It cut me to the bone when they were taken.
You are not only selling an impressive selection of coins, you are re-producing memories of the friends I lost and the comfort
Now I am on that same road. I have been diagnosed with cancer because of my service during the Gulf war from the burning oil wells and those will be left for my son.
I was an aircraft commander of a C-130 H model during Desert Shield/Storm.
I know you are busy and do not want to waste your time reading letters. After all you have a business to run; however, I just wanted to let you know that what you are selling are more than pieces of metal with paint and pictures. They are reminders of a life of “Service”, a life of “Honor”, and a life-long commitment “So others may live”.
Regards,
Dr. D. Chevalier

DID I GO TOO FAR DOC?
@282 & 283 GD
GREAT Jerb!!
FUCK HIM.
We need to make this douchenozzle CRY
Wow, this guy was a C-130H aircraft commander during DS/DS and was USAF-medically retired as a Lt. Col.? Damn, we got ourselves a real goshdamm HERO here! (sarc heh heh heh)
Gee – that signature block must have been “off” as well, GDContractor.
I didn’t know the CAP flew C-130Hs during Desert Storm.
And yes – both of the above links have been archived, just in case they disappear.
@287 I have become proficient at screenshotting everything. No prior service, but “adapt and overcome” did rub off on me a bit.
Scroll down about 1/3 to the entry of Nov. 29, 2004. Wouldn’t call it a smoking gun but it fits a pattern.
http://csir.blogspot.com/
Notice that none of his posts have any comments. He is apparently posting for his own benefit… it’s like reading Bernath’s (Hon) masterbatory manifesto. I am not expert but I think this guy is one sick fuck, and I am not talking about cancer either.
He also Posted this on Jan 23 2004

To all that spread rumors about Dr. Chevalier, a warning: Do so at your own perol as God will be the final judge of your works.
Let he that is without sin, cast the first stone!
What a wacko
Yeah, GDContractor – that first entry is kinda interesting, too.
I always though the accepted short term for “perpetrator” was “perp”. But what do I know?
@286 Hondo yea the CAP was all over Desert Storm, don’t you remember seeing them? They were flying sorties day and night looking for downed pilots. Just like back home! In fact, the CAP flew their own F-15 Eagle flight cover for the C-130 boys! Sure I read all about it back when. Probably where Chevalier picked up his C-130 Aircraft Commander time. /sarc/
@289 Enigma4you…man I thought I was the last dude that could still decipher binary! Way to go my man.
@289 good thing we are not spreading rumors huh? He is condemned by his own words and deeds. Like most liars, everything is fine until they lose control of the lie.
@290 yeah I noticed that too. I’m waiting for the TBI shoe to drop (no disrespect to those who actually suffered TBI).
I’ve got this one from really highly classified sources: Apparently, there is a secret squirrel division of the CAP; it is designated the “Covert Air Patrol”; same acronym, but different mission. The regular CAP is just a “front” for the REAL CAP, which flies C-130Hs, EC-130H COMPASS CALLs, AC-130s, F-22s, and B-2 bombers. They are the covert aerial force that provides air support to G.I. JOE and Team America World Police…

(smile)
@291…. don’t leave out the Navy CAP! Remember that time a CAP F-14 inverted over the canopy of a Mig and flipped the Soviet pilot the bird? Man there was a party that night on the CAP Aircraft Carrier (name redacted) that night I can tell you.
All,
Anyone think that this fucktard is just about a hair from going all Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now? (not that he was in the military or anything but….cracker, cheese etc, you know the drill)

GDContractor: I think ye ‘a been a’spendin’ a wee bit much time at the cinema, laddie. (smile)
However, that movie scene is based on a true incident which happened (if memory serves correctly) during the early 1980s. In that incident, a US SR-71 reduced speed and cut across France w/o authorization when returning from a mission in the Med (the pilot had gotten a low-oil-pressure warning indication – apparently just slightly outside tolerances). They had nearly gotten to the Channel when a French Mirage pulled alongside and asked for their “diplomatic clearance number”.
The pilot asked his back-seater what the French pilot was talking about. His RSO said something to the effect of, “Forget it, I just gave it to him” – while flipping the French pilot off out the side window.
The pilot relit both afterburners and was over the Channel “very quickly”. (smile)
A short version of the account is here:
http://www.barthworks.com/aviation/sr71france.htm
A longer version can be found in Ben Rich’s memoir (written with Leo Janos) “Skunk Works”. If you’re not familiar with Ben Rich: he was the guy who took over Lockheed-Martin’s Skunk Works after Kelly Johnson retired. He worked there from 1954 to 1991, and was in charge during the development of the F-117. He worked on the U-2, SR-71, Suntan, and various other such projects before taking over.
Fascinating book. The account of the France overflight in that book is allegedly by the pilot who flew the mission.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Dennis Chevalier is telling people that his CAP cred means “Combat Air Patrol” in the combat theater during times of war. 😮
He probably just rode the “simulator” like a kid on the mechanical horse outside K mart.
