May Day riots unfolding in Seattle
An organized riot started today as protesters stormed into Seattle Central Community College, the location of the now evicted Occupy Seattle camp. From the Community College the protesters joined with a mass of bicyclists who “swarmed” the roads to block traffic for the march down to Westlake Center. After regrouping there they moved down Denny and Pine Streets, attacking stores and cars as they clashed with police. Once Black Bloc and Marxist protesters reached the Federal Courthouse firebombs were thrown at the front of the building as rioters attacked windows and doors. Nobody is reporting it yet but a young man, possibly an adolescent, with Down’s Syndrome was waiving a red flag as he beat on windows and doors with a club of some kind. At least one car was trapped and destroyed as its occupants fled their attackers.
The attacks were obviously very well coordinated. As police responded to one set of attacks another group of Black Bloc and red flag waiving rioters would immediately attack another. This is a coordinated attack by left-wing extremists on the city of Seattle and its citizens. I’m working on pictures now but I’m not sure of the quality as they’re being taken by a friend in the thick of it.
UPDATE: Many police have been resisting making arrests, even on rioters they witnessed attacking property. One guy said he saw them stand aside as rioters moved past.
UPDATE #2:
Here’s the mentally handicapped Marxist facing down a vigilante dressed as a super hero. If that doesn’t just sum up how screwed we all are I don’t know what does. Credit to the Seattle Times.

My mother, 8 years ago: “Why the hell did you stay in the South? Why can’t you move back here to Seattle?”
Duh.
She moved out of the city 2 years ago.
Time for a Second Amendment injection.
Same thing with San Francisco police, too scared or whatever to do anything proactive with the occutards rampaging in the city. They actually stood around one of their substations in the city forming a semi circle around it, and acting passive.
Looks like we’re in for another long year of these turds.
Good thing my company moved out of Seattle to Lynnwood last year.
You ever notice how they have a habit of pissing in their own pools? They riot and destroy the only cities that will put up with their crap. They don’t try to pull this in cities where if the police stood around the populace would be calling and saying wtf? I wanna see the hounds released! Like I said earlier I don’t think it would fly here in KC because the population wouldn’t stand for it because of the cops didn’t stop it the people would. Hell hoodlums have been trying and they have been handled pretty well.
Two words when dealing with anarchists and rioters:
Live ammo.
Give ’em the bayonet.

Irony is how would have Stalin handled these protests?
1. Glenn Beck was right, again.
2. Washington State is the laboratory.
3. F*ckin’ amateurs. That’s not how you taken down a 1st World City, even with the cops not on the side of their employers.
4. Legal question: does a person with Down’s Syndrome have the legal mental competence to consent to being a foot soldier?
I’m a retired cop and hope that these guys are standing aside because they were ordered to do so by their commanders….I hope, but don’t really believe it.
re #9
Stalin actually saw mass protests against collectivization and Soviet conquest of indigenous people in Central Asia. The lucky ones were cast out of any eligibility for Party membership and blacklisted, dooming them and their family to an even worse existence than their already impoverished countrymen. Most of the rest who openly opposed the regime ended up in gulags, penal units or executed as common criminals. At least the ones who didn’t starve first from the policies they were protesting.
Filthy hippies.
Have cops actually stopped any riot to date? Just wondering.
As a Seattlite i got to say this good! we have a over indulgent city council that has been making every little social and racial justice interest group feel like they could do this for the past 10 years by being overly welcoming and not telling them to act like adults. Also if you take a real look at the Puget sound basisn you will see that all the companies that truly matter are not based in Seattle anymore but in the surrounding suburbs. this city and its people are incredibly liberal to a stupid amount and feel entitled so let them have it.

You wouldn’t be the Monster of Publicola fame, would you?
Chickens coming home to roost again?
Sorry, another example of why we need to take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
And people wonder why I didn’t stay in for the possibility of going to Bangor. 1–I hated boomers, 2–I hated (and still do) hippies.
That dude in the picture looks like he’s got a few messed up chromosomes.
Joe–ease up. If anything, it shows the desperation of the so-called “leadership” of these mouth-breathers that they’d mess with someone who doesn’t have the necessary cognitive skills like that.
If anything, seeing that picture just pisses me off about the Occupoopers that much more.
Way to go, SPD–maybe they’re just doing what the LAPD did 20 years ago this week during the Rodney King riots, and what they did during the WTO in 1999…sit on their fucking hands.
Yet when City Councils across America have to come up with police budgets, there is the senior leadership, hands out, begging for all sorts of cool toys like the Urban Assault Vehicle that they got over in Keene (Keene! Really?) in case someone parked in a downtown spot for 2 hours and 15 minutes in violation of the 2 hour maximum.
You wanted the big bucks for all those big toys, why aren’t you using them, Seattle?
@16 Why yes I am that monster 🙂

Welcome. You’ve provided me an immeasurable amount of entertainment over the years.
Im glad I could. i didnt get banned btw (at least not one I couldn’t get around) I only respect my current employer more then I hate them.
HA.
Wusses. Not one of them have the guts to come here to Michigan. For one about 70% of us have Concealed permits. For a second….they all left. The burned out husk of Detroit is evidence enough.
Fine by me. For the rest of ya? Come on over. water is cold!
Solution:
Snipe with .22 shorts from the rooftops. Won’t kill anybody (at least I don’t think so), but it WILL get the f***kin’ hippies’ attention.
But then again, it IS Seattle. Libturd enclave, no guns allowed. And too bad, as it’s so pretty.
To No. 12 NSOM :
Sincere thanks for the Commie/Socialism history lesson —
I’ll spread the word .
@ #25- DR_BRETT….is this “Doc” Black by any chance?
Probably had the PHD’s from Anarchy U (Evergreen State College) there plus some assorted morons that came up from Portland. Had to resist the urge to leave work early and head down to Seattle to play Whackadolt.
Monster and NSOM: ever do any commenting at Sound Politics?
A good case for belt fed weapons…
@27 no
Monster @29: May have to head over to Publicola, check it out.
re #27 & #30
No, although I read Sound Politics from time to time. I met Andy McDonald once, if that counts for anything. Monster was never a contributor to Publicola, he was a rather infamous participant in their open comments section who tormented their Progressive staff and trolled their broadly leftist readership. He would reliably “go there” to a usually amusing end.
Why is it Joe or Insipid never have anything to say about posts like this?
Doesn’t surprise me in the least that those turds would take advandage of a special needs kid. He probably doesn’t even understand why he’s doing what he’s doing, or that it’s wrong. I can see the headlines now: “Masked bully pepper sprays club wielding retard.” Fucking shameful. On a side note, why don’t the people in cars getting attacked just run the fuckers over? You know, like Eric Cartman’s hippie drill.
The Black Block that broke from the ranks of the hippies were not your typical anarchists. They were wearing training armors; the kind that are used for baton training. They were also wearing a particulate filter under their bandana masks; the kind used to filter liquid particulates like CS and pepper spray. Their sunglasses were the kind that most of us know that seal slightly around the eye. In other words, they were very well organized for anarchists.
Walking contradictions perhaps?
after reading this link you really gotta wonder why the cops didn’t do much about it, were a lot of these black block people also wearing new clothes and fairly clean-cut???

@23, I live near Ann Arbor, and I was wondering where the protests were yesterday. Turns out there were none. Seems U of M had graduation on Saturday. But, yeah, what you said. I am not going to put up with it, and I have a CPL…
For those who do not know, the black bloc tactics have been around a very long time and this current generation has been practicing them for years.
Yes, they are international. Yes, they will appear anywhere the occuturds, progs, I’nat’l ANSWR, commies, anti-war, union etc miscrients stage an event. They have been testing official responses for many years.
And they can be somewhat comical to observe. Some of us actually watched some of them riding bikes and afoot in the DC Mall, changing their appearance and such as they moved along.
If their “uniforms” appear new, they probably are. They go to great lenghths to wear nothing which will ID one from the other.
The up side is that many cities just will not put up with their terrorism.
As a resident and working in LE intel in NYC, I have a first hand opportunity to observe this OWS movement as they exercise their constitutional right to be a pain in the ass to MOST NYC residents. Here is an unofficial Intel Report I wrote yesterday as I exited the subway at 14th Street and Union Square (humor inserted to demonstrate the absurdity of the OWS movement):
REPORT: I just exited subway at 14th Street and Union Square. Large NYPD Command presence on 15th St. adjacent to Union Square East. Large and loud crowds of young people, many dressed in black, aimlessly wandering to and fro, in and around Union Sq. All appear to need haircuts, jobs, hobbies, a shower, loving parents, wardrobe update, and career guidance. God Bless America. Be safe.
you guys have it wrong. that mentally hadicapped kid was breaking windows and that douche of a super hero is stopping him with pepper spray I WAS THERE TO WITNESS IT ALL. ALSO you realy think you shoul kill rioters? WHEN THEY ARE RIOTING AGAINST THE MACHINE THAT OPPRESSES US ALL you people are so fooled into the government helping us when really they are the TRUE ANARCHISTS this makes me sick when i see people saying “it wouldnt stnd in our citie” well you asshole.. why would you side with the poice?? when they BEAT PEOPLE AND OVER UE THEIR AUTHORITES. you people need to realize whats going on and what BLACK BLOC is really about. becase 1 thing i have noticed being my age in this world PEACEFULL PROTESTS DO NOT AND WILL NEVER WORK. face the facts
WTF? Does being an anarchist mean that you can’t write so people can understand?
your just ignorant. i was in a hurry.
you’re*
woops that 4 should be a 3. 😛
Point taken – it knows best what we need.
every one meet me at the corner half price wednesdays!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peaceful protests do not work, eh? Might want to review a bit of history and get back to us on that, BlackClove. I’d suggest you start with Ghandi and MLK (and the US civil rights movement).
But maybe take a remedial English course first, so that you’ll be intelligible when you do get back to us.

I think we’ve done pretty well here. It took nearly 24 whole hours after a post critical of tantrum throwing pseudo-intellectuals breaking their better’s property went live for semi-literate caps lock guy to show up and inform us of the oppressive nature of The Machine.
Rage on semi-literate caps lock guy, rage on.
