UC Davis students provoked police in pepper spray incident
ROS sends us a link to a video from the misnamed Democracy Now! in which UC Davis’ Elli Pearson, one of the pepper sprayed students in the famous event admits that they, the students, surrounded the police and refused to allow the police to LEAVE the campus provoking the pepper spray incident.
In short, they were begging for video footage they could use to appear like they were worthy of sympathy from everyone who didn’t see the entire incident unfold.

So Elli, just out of curiosity: Were you giving that interview from a gulag or in the safety of a television studio? And how injured were you from huffing OC because it seems to me you got off easy.
Perhaps the Valuable Life Lessons you should take away from this is “You don’t have the right to interfere with the rights of others” and “Getting pepper sprayed hurts and I should avoid it from now on.”
So these a**clowns were attempting to detain a group of armed police against their will? Seems to me that they got off easy.
Which would make sense if the cops had peppersprayed a path through the crowd. But LT SpitBag stepped over the line of kids sitting on the sidewalk to pepperspray them instead.
I’m glad he did. I would have preferred they used firehoses and dogs, but that’s just me.
These kids need to learn right pronto that there are consequences to actions and decisions. they have a right to their opinion. They have no right to interfere with other people’s rights.
@3. The “kids” were at home, the playground, or at school. The punks and pukes, on the other hand, were being peppersprayed or watching their fellow pukes and punks get peppersprayed.

Ya know, sometimes you look at something and say this does not ring true. The massess want to think that the police are wrong in every action, that is until they need the police. So I watched the news coverage, the videos and read the protesters side of things but the whole time Im wondering what was going on in the minutes before the video started and what got edited. Days later we find out that the Police were surrounded, being prevented from leaving and that the protestors had been warned and even had time to prepare to be sprayed. This was not an act of malice on the part of the police, they used the minimum force needed to control an escalating situation. DO they get condoned? No they get punished and ridiculed. Wake up sheep, dont you see the media controlling you? They only show what they want us to see.
