Pentagon & SEAL Test Positive for COVID-19
Stars & Stripes reports that a Navy SEAL has tested positive for the coronavirus.
A member of the Navy’s special operations community has tested positive for the coronavirus, the service’s Special Warfare Command said late Thursday.
The unnamed petty officer second class was training at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Washington, the state with the second-highest number of cases of the COVID-19 disease in the U.S., behind New York.
“Due to operational security we are not providing the rating of the second class petty officer, and will only confirm that it is a second class petty officer assigned to Naval Special Warfare,” said Lt. LT Matthew Stroup, a command spokesman.
The Naval Special Warfare Command includes SEALs, special warfare combatant-craft crewman and other support ratings, Stroup said in an emailed statement.

Well I guess we are all, as Thunderstixx would say so eloquently, DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMED. If the SEALs are catching the Kung Flu, what hope is there for us mere mortals? If we start seeing Green Berets, Rangers, Delta Force, and Gray Fox troops hacking and a coughing we must abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
Anybody done any deep research on the Boston U/Wuhan U connection to the ChiComs? How about the rumor that George Soros and Bill Gates’ connection to the labs in Wuhan U, the nursing home in WA and the cruise ship crews that were infected?
And what about all the Congress Critters that started dumping their stocks right after a briefing on the upcoming corona virus back in February? Our very own newly appointed Kelly L. is counted in that number. Why am I not surprised? After all you got that Senate seat the old fashioned way. Bought and paid for.
Kelly Loeffler was the chief executive officer of Bakkt, a subsidiary of commodity and financial service provider Intercontinental Exchange. Sounds like great preparation for profiting from this pandemic.
The Senate was long referred to as “The Millionaire Boys Club” so in a way its refreshing to see a female getting her nut in just a few months on the job. You go girl! /sarc
I also forgot to mention Loeffler is married to the chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, Jeffrey Sprecher. SMH
Trying to lay low and not hijack this thread too badly, but yeah she is bad news for us true conservatives down here. And she was not a choice of daTrumpster for that Senate job. Rep Doug Collins was. And since the election for that seat has started she has been throwing all types of mud at Collins and embellishing her role as the “wholesome, farmgirl, beautyqueen, had to work thru school girl next door.” Total pack of BS. A true Carpetbagger in the worst sort of way, and the guvenator has shown his true colors as a bought and paid for rino. He, too, was not the FIRST choice of a lot of people, but he basically bought/brought in enough favors to get the R nomination and between him and Stacey Abrams, the average working class person was screwed. Her family own a corporate farm in Indiana, she donated 750,000 USD to the RNC very recently, she also owns the ATL Girls Basketball team and jets all over the country in a private Gulfstream. Her and her ilk, the career swamp rats are the epitome as to why Trump hasn’t been able to get that much done during his FIRST term. I’m trying to do some deep digging on my conspiracy theory, but the high speed low drag firewalls that my man put on this machine keeps me out of some sites. And he just kicked the level up another notch or two, what with all of the hacking going on. Beginning to think that Thubderstixx is correct with his DOOOOOOOMEDness. And not from a bug, but from our own gubmint.

I would find it hard to believe that COVID would not spread like wildfire in the ranks due to the close proximity of folks.
How would one differentiate it from all the other barracks bugs going around this time of year?
Most healthy young folks will present as a cold, perhaps bad, and treat it as such. If they don’t go on Sick Call and do get better, no one counts those.
There are indications this thing started in China in -October-. What we are seeing is likely a second wave.
I’ve got relatives about 1 1/2 hour out of Seattle. They’ve already had the virus – all the symptoms (cough, fatigue, fever) but fever not high enough to be tested. One of them is elderly with health issues, just talked yesterday and they’re over it except some fatigue. Younger ones (in their 40’s) had moderate symptoms and never took off work as it was some weeks ago when anyone with it was clapped into the hospital. With the symptoms matching the odds are they had the virus as opposed to something else. They had been to downtown Seattle the week before they both got it.
So, the virus is out there. I am happy it’s out there. The only way to get past this is for enough people to get it and recover. If my son was still alive I’d take my chances with the virus to give him a chance at having a career in the future. There appears to be no plan beyond this endless lockdown which will turn us into Venezuela in another 6 weeks.
One more thing, the older relative had it a couple of weeks after the younger.
SHTF in NYC. Over 4.4K confirmed coronavirus cases. Trump ordered USNS Comfort to NY Harbor. Stay-at-home order issued by Gov. Cuomo for entire state. All non-essential workers must work from home. Stay indoors as much as possible. Number of confirmed cases expected to dramatically increase in coming weeks as testing is expanded. Governor is pleading with manufacturers and suppliers for ventilators.
The infected SEAL’s hair nonetheless remained impeccably coiffed.
