Deadly shooting in central Las Vegas may have been self defense

A man was fatally shot late Friday night in the central valley, in what Las Vegas police said may be a self-defense shooting.A second man suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to University Medical Center. Officers were called to the shooting about 11:40 p.m. Friday in the 6100 block of West Oakey Boulevard, police said.
Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Ray Spencer said both men were found with guns, but it was unclear whether they were shooting at each other.
Spencer said information from witnesses indicates the shooting may have begun as a robbery attempt. Spencer said later Saturday morning that detectives do not expect that the man hospitalized will face charges.
“With the details we have now it appears self defense,” Spencer said in a text message Saturday morning.
The man who died was in his late 20s, he said. The man sent to the hospital is expected to survive.

Crime Stoppers Most Wanted: Would-be robber stopped by cashier with gun
OMAHA, Neb. —
A would-be robber gets more than he bargains for when he finds himself facing more firepower than he brought.Police need help finding this Crime Stoppers Most Wanted man.
Surveillance pictures show the man attempt to rob the Mega Saver near 24th and P streets last May.
He brought a knife to do it but when he went around the counter, the clerk pulled a handgun, which they were licensed to carry.
The suspect ran away and has since been identified as Zachary Penny.
He’s wanted for felony attempted robbery. Penny is 29 years old, 6-foot-3 and weighs about 205 pounds.
His last known address was near 28th and Josephine in Bellevue.

Suspect arrested for attempting to steal goats from Stafford farmer
The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says it received a call last Thursday at 10pm. A farmer was holding the suspect in the middle of his field at gunpoint. The farmer told authorities that the suspect was intoxicated and attempting to steal several goats. The suspect was slurring his words and initially provided false identification to the deputy. Shortly thereafter, the deputy determined the suspect’s name was 19 year old Cole Schrock of Clear Brook, VA.
The suspect also admitted that he was pretending to be intoxicated, which was confirmed by a preliminary breath test. The farmer then realized that the suspect had recently purchased a few goats from him and initially did not recognize him because his face was hidden under a hood. The suspect’s pickup truck was located nearby and there were three goats tied up next to it.

here in NOVA, all kinds of strange, smelly, and cray cray people do many immoral and disgusting things with small animals.
Some of them are what look to be inbred mouth breathers like this guy, but more are of the “oh so trendy” new militant “other” category and they abuse animals, children, and drugs between orange man bad protests.
It goes without saying none of them work, but I’ll mention it for those not living near the zoopocalypse known as DC.
