Majority Favored Mass Extinction Event to Trump Re-Election

A poll of 400 New Hampshire Democrats was conducted. One of the questions that the respondents were asked gave them one of two options. President Trump wins re-election or a meteor hits causing all humans to die. The respondents overwhelmingly chose a meteor strike (62%) over President Trump’s winning a second term (38%).
Out of the respondents who made between $50,000 to $100,000, 62% chose the meteor strike over a Trump victory. It was higher for those who earned less than $50,000, with 69% choosing a meteor strike over a Trump victory. The margin of error was 6.4%.

But voters were also asked in the online survey conducted by YouGov: “Which of the following outcomes would you prefer occur on November 3, 2020? Donald Trump wins re-election or A giant meteor strikes the earth, extinguishing all human life.”
Sixty-two percent of Democrats picked the meteor, while 38 percent chose a second term for Trump.
The Hill has the article here. Looking at the University of Massachusetts survey, out of those reporting their income, Bernie Sanders leads among those under $100,000. These are the folks that would be harmed the most by Bernie Sanders’s policies.

I can only think of one exception where Trump voted for big government intervention and that was bump stocks. In every other issue I can think of, Trump fell on the side of freedom.
