Does Not Bear Close Scrutiny

| January 28, 2020

Well, well, well…. This gets better and better with every passing day. Warren is busy demanding all sorts of answers re: Trump and Russia and all that sort of thing, but her connection to Iran is not being questioned… until now. Her son-in-law produced a film funded by the Iranian government.

From the article: The only investigation Elizabeth Warren has not called for is an examination of close family members of leading US politicians who received money from the Iranian Government, which might be because if US business links to Iran were investigated, Elizabeth Warren would face uncomfortable questions about her son-in-law.

Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) son-in-law, with whom she is close, has troubling ties to the Iranian regime, according to a new book by Peter Schweizer.

The book, Profiles in Corruption, reveals progressive leaders’ little-known ties to corrupt businesses and governments and discusses the Massachusetts senator in a chapter.

Since his marriage into the Warren family, Tyagi “has been involved in a series of curious—even troubling—business ventures around the world,” Schweizer writes.

Tyagi runs Tricolor Films, and in 2008, produced a film called The Song of Sparrows, directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi.

The film was described as Majidi’s “most religious” and is about a man who is fired from his job on an ostrich farm, moves to the big city and becomes a motorcycle taxi driver, and soon becomes consumed with his passengers’ lives and is swept up in a world of greed. It is his family that help him restore his “caring and generous nature,” according to a film synopsis.

Tyagi was listed as the film’s sole producer on a New York Times page, in credits which have now been deleted. A look back at the page’s archive revealed that the film was funded by the Iranian government agency that is overseen by Iranian propagandists.

Schweizer writes:  The full credits of the film, for some reason, seem to also have been scrubbed from the internet. We obtained a copy by using the Wayback machine and made a startling discovery: the movie’s chief investors included none other than the social deputy of the State Welfare Organization (SWO) of Iran as well as the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran.

These two investors in the film might appear at first glance to be innocuous cultural organizations—but they are not. Both are funded and controlled by the Islamist Iranian government.

The Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran states: “This organization was founded in 1996 and [does] its activities under the supervision of a board of trustees composed of various cultural institutions such as IRIB and Islamic propaganda organization.” – article

I would love to see this bit– er, candidate squirm under real questioning, when the time comes. What else is there that is lurking behind those curtains?

Watch out. If you start trying to investigate this the Democrats will try and impeach you as well. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

And if you actually find something incriminating in your investigation, you will develop a sudden urge to “commit suicide”…

Warren is my choice for the nomination.

It’s been said that the democrats commonly accuse opponents of the shit they themselves are doing. This is just another example of it being true.

BTW, is having a son-in-law from India the thing that makes her 1/1024 Indian? Just thought I’d ask.

Amazing how Congress Critters making $174K annually can become, in just a few successful elections, millionaires.

Fauxcahontas’s daughter Amelia and family causing more embarrassment for the fake Indian’s political aspirations? First Amelia’s organization sues to make sure that all the recipients of public assistance are informed of their ability to be registered to vote with their benefit applications causing a mass mailing to go out and inadvertently exposing numerous instances of welfare fraud in MA; now Amelia’s hubby is all cozy with the freaking Iranians while Fauxcahontas’s campaign is wheezing toward implosion…hopefully this tidbit will seal her fate once and for all. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving fraud.

Just more examples of the deep seated, self serving, criminal element that is rampant in our government. History is loaded with shining examples, on BOTH sides. The most glaring the “lionization” of a murderer in the Senate. And he was from the same state as Lizzie. This kind of crap has been allowed to go on because both sides have dirty skirts and are afraid to upset their own little criminal enterprises.

I have never advocated for the overthrowing of our government. That would get me a visit from scary looking persons in dark suits driving black SUVs and flying choppers. I DO advocate tossing out of office the crooks and ne’er do wells and going BACK to the limited federal government that the Founders envisioned. You know the one that was alluded to by Mr. Lincoln…that whole “of the People, for the People, by the People” thing. I think that one was actually lost when he was murdered.

    I trust NONE of them!

I have a hunch that Elizabeth Warren rarely tells any more than 1/1024th of the truth, often far less than that!

      ^”Dats a good one”

Lie-a-watha is just another in a long of people that got rich doing “public service” and then wants to erect barriers and obstacles to anyone else working hard to enrich themselves…FTB!

  9. Skippy says:

I’m still in shock that anyone out here takes this fraud seriously

Seems as though several folks around here asked the question a while back – “You guys really, really, REALLY sure you wanna go THERE?” Now they’ve gone and done it. Talk about waving a red cape in front of a raging bull! After all this mess the D-rats have put the country through for decades, but especially the past 3 years, it looks more and more likely that they will come to a full understanding of the expression something about paybacks being hell.

Sure, there are plenty of deep staters embedded in the bureaucracy, but there are also big bunches of honest patriots who have been storing copies of files and mountains of evidence. The good guys are just waiting for the big guy to get reelected and clean house a bit more.

The swamp IS about to get seriously drained! Starting to feel it in me bones.

    • Cameron Kingsley says:

To further your matador analogy, they ought to learn the old saying: when you mess with the bull, you get the horns.
