Here We Go Again

Nancy Pelosi responded with what (for her) can be described as ‘with anger’ when a reporter asked her if she hates Trump. The video was run on local news several times. She seems to be unable to use her left arm very much to express herself. (Might be simply a habit she picked up.)

This article from CNBC pretty well covers it:

“Don’t mess with me.” was her response. “I don’t hate anybody.” That should have been sufficient but she went on a rant about how she was “raised Catholic” and prays all the time, which left some doubt about her claim that she doesn’t “hate anybody”.

From the article: When a reporter asked Nancy Pelosi on Thursday if she hates President Donald Trump, the Democratic House speaker responded with choice words: “Don’t mess with me.”

Pelosi had just wrapped up her second press appearance of the day, during which she answered questions about her earlier announcement directing Democratic House committee chairmen to proceed with drafting articles of impeachment against Trump.

As she started walking away from the podium, James Rosen, a former Fox News reporter who now works for the conservative Sinclair Broadcast Group, asked: “Do you hate the president?”

Pelosi, pointing a finger at Rosen, snapped back: “I don’t hate anybody.”

“I was raised in a Catholic house. We don’t hate anyone, not anybody in the world,” Pelosi said. “So don’t you accuse me —”

“I did not accuse you. I asked you a question,” Rosen responded. – article

She could not stop defending herself and her attitude. The way to make yourself clear is to be brief, not rattle on. No need to defend simply saying “No”.

Now I, too, wonder if, and how much, she really does hate Trump. This vendetta she is leading is now suspect.

Saw this on the National ABC Broadcast on evening last. In addition to her other attributes, she can officially be classified as a hater and a liar. That is one more evil, conniving, crafty, hate filled bitch. Any student of body language can tell that easily. This whole political circus we have had to deal with over the last 3 years is a calculated attempt to overthrow the legitimately elected President of these United States. Sadly enough, I blame the republicrats for most of it. They had nearly 2 years with a majority in both houses to get something accomplished and blew it. The 2018 elections were proof that people were getting tired of do nothing pols and started the winnowing out process. Then you had repubs who were complacent and let the AOCs of the world beat them.

This bitch has been the center of what is wrong with the congress for way yonder too long. She needs to go…and soon!

    • David says:

Small nit to pick, in AOCs district the Dem ALWAYS wins. The Reps could run Jesus and lose. Blame rather the prior Dem incumbent who more or less ignored her and lost.

      • 5th/77th FA says:

Not specifically speaking of AOC and that district in as much as other districts that had a repub that lost to a dim of her ilk. IIRC, prior to the ’18 election the repubs had a majority in both houses and lost the majority in the HoR. It may and or may not have been as much complacency and could have even been ballot box stuffing that caused some dims to win. Been known to happen.

  2. Skippy says:

    She is bat shit crazy
    Enough said
    Bring on the impeachment
Maybe the republicans can grown a pair of balls
And do the right thing here by bring all the witnesses so they can be interviewed
Instead of this kangaroo BS in the house
    Good luck on that

Seriously? Telegraph your real feelings much, Nancy??

    Well, OK.

  5. Buckeye Jim says:

She certainly does not tout her Catholicism when any questions come up about late term abortion among other things. Typical hypocritical pol.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

IMHO you are ABSOLUTELY right Buckeye Jim, the Roman Catholic Church is very solidly anti-abortion, yet Nanny Lugosi touts her party line on infanticide aka abortion thus rendering her a CINO (Catholic In Name Only) in my book.

“I was raised in a Catholic house. We don’t hate anyone, not anybody in the world,” Pelosi said. “So don’t you accuse me —”
I sense some Freudian Projection in that statement along with some deep-seated psychological insecurity!

IMHO Christians worship God – The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit while liberals worship abortion, the gay agenda and climate change!

      • USMCMSgt (Ret) says:

Not only that, she invokes God and Devine Providence when making statements on the podium why it’s important to move forward with impeachment…and she represents the same political party that booo-ed any mention of God at their gatherings.

The Catholic church should refuse her communion like that church did to Joe’s “Malarkey” Biden awhile back.

    Deeds, not words, Mrs. Speaker.
Someone needs to wall-to-wall counsel her on lack of Leadership, repeatedly.

  8. Martinjmpr says:

In a way, you’ve got to feel a little sorry for her. She’s got her rabid lefty faction screaming for impeachment even though the adults in the room know that there’s no plausible scenario in which the president is actually removed from office, which makes the whole thing a charade and a farce.

And what’s worse, if it moves forward into a senate trial, it’s only likely to energize the President’s supporters in the battleground states which not only raises his chances of re-election but also the chance that the Republicans will take the house and she will lose her nice position.

But if she DOESN’T push for impeachment, her own extremist democrats will eat her alive.

She’s in a classic Gerry Rafferty situation: Clowns to the left and Jokers to the right.

  9. The Other Whitey says:

As a practicing Roman Catholic, I find Nancy Pelosi claiming Catholicism as a shield for her crap to be offensive as hell. She promotes everything the Church stands against. Plus she’s disgustingly corrupt. She should have been excommunicated decades ago.

Sadly, the same can be said about our current Pope.

    • Roh-Dog says:

“[Nancy Pelosi] should have been excommunicated decades ago. Sadly, the same can be said about our current Pope.”

Amen times a number that can’t be rationalized by characters!!!
I’m not catholic (my grandparents left after the third Irish twin…) but even I understand the current pagan/satan -ization of Saint Peter’s Church.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Speaking of Excommunication, Kathleen Sebilius, B. Hussein 0bama’s HHS Secretary WAS excommunicated in the Catholic Diocese of Kansas (Her home State) by the Catholic Bishop of Kansas because of her stance on Infanticide aka abortion.

      • Roh-Dog says:

Not to mention that you haven’t left mom’s basement in months and scrubbing the stank off that mangina will hurt so bad that you’ll probably not be able to stomach any tendies.

Nancy Pelosi Defending Bill Clinton Against Impeachment 1998

“Today the Republican majority is not judging the president with fairness, but impeaching him with a vengeance,” then-House Minority Leader Pelosi declared on the House floor in December 1998.”

“She continued, “In the investigation of the president, fundamental principles which Americans hold dear — fairness, privacy, checks and balances — have been seriously violated and why? Because we are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton. … Until the Republicans free themselves of that hatred, our country will suffer.”

Repeat again on what she said:

“Because we are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton. … Until the Republicans free themselves of that hatred, our country will suffer.”

Course Nancy can’t look at herself in the mirror, because Plastic Faces don’t reflect (and neither do Vampires):

    • GDContractor says:

It is what it is. And I agree with Steeleye from another thread, it’s all political. Given that any typical DA can “indict a ham sandwich”, it follows that any majority in the house can impeach a sitting president, only if they are willing. Willingness usually involves putting a whip finger in the air and evaluating the political fallout. Unless something earth-shattering happens, the Senate will not convict and the budget deficit will continue to be about 1 trillion dollars a year.

    • SFC D says:

I have a couple friends that still think that it was unfair that poor ol’ Bill “got impeached over a blowjob”. I keep reminding them that getting a blowjob in the oval office isn’t a crime, but lying about it under oath is.

Always wondered what would’ve happened if the questioning had gone more like this:

Questioner: “Mr. President, did you, or did you not, in the oval office, receive oral sex from Ms. Lewinski, known to you then as a White House intern?”

President Clinton: “You’re damn right I did, that girl could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch! I damn near had to yank the couch cushion outta my ass! Hot damn!”

Questioner: “I have no further questions. Move to adjourn.”

      • 11B-Mailclerk says:

Bubba Billy, had he done exactly that, would have skated right on through. Half his good-ole-boy Republican detractors would have high-fived him for such an answer.

The Clintons lie even when the truth would better serve their schemes.

        • rgr769 says:

This is a most succinct and accurate analysis of what caused him to be impeached. To extrapolate, Billy Jeff lied under oath in his judge
presided deposition and in his grand jury testimony. That is also what caused his disbarment.

  13. Perry Gaskill says:

    Don’t mess with me.

Something remarkable is that Nancy Pelosi was able to use an implied threat without James Rosen calling her out on it by asking, “Or what?”

An interesting question is also if the threat was just bluster, or would Pelosi have been willing to carry out retaliation to the extent of getting Rosen fired or by, for example, moving to have the FCC pull Sinclair’s broadcast license.

Pelosi playing the pious Catholic card is also not a surprise. Former California Governor Jerry “I’m just an old Jesuit” Brown used to do it all the time.

    • rgr769 says:

Well she could subpoena all his electronic communications just like the Shiffhole did to another reporter, John Solomon. But 0bama’s crew already did that to Rosen about five years ago, but without a subpoena.

      • 11B-Mailclerk says:

I thought that sort of thing was illegal.

Isnt it kinda dumb to use illegally gotten phone info, yet botch the identification of the key number that supposedly proves your case? That seems like -epic- stupid.
