Tulsa Police Say Fatal Shooting At Apartment Complex Was Self-Defense

TPD said Alfred Guy, who was high on PCP, went over to a friend’s apartment to ask for a ride. When the friend said no, police said Guy attacked his friend.
Tulsa Police said Guy stabbed his friend in the back, so the friend pulled out a gun and shot Guy once. Police say Guy died the next day – on Thanksgiving morning – at the hospital.

Stabbing a friend in the back is no way to influence people. What a Guy!
He hit his face, Colonel…repeatedly.

Is that Mosin the same one that the Russian Ms Thang Sniper kilt all them Krauts wid?
You mean Lyudmila Mikhailovna Pavlichenko, 309 kills.
Whatever happened to Farm Girl with a Mosin?
Did she survive the domain change?
Maybe we could implore the TAH HQ Admin to send Farm Girl an email, see what’s up from there.
Please?
Pretty please?
Not gonna ask “with sugar”, too many here are diabetic.
Awww, I’m touched people remember me, let alone are asking after me! I am alive and more or less well, just very very frazzled.
I was going to write out a more detailed summary, but really, y’all don’t need to hear the roller coaster details, and I don’t want people to think I’m looking for pity! It’s just been a bit of a rough year and a half since my twins were born, with various bouts of surgery (mine), unemployment (my husband’s), absolute anarchy (the world’s biggest toddler and the twin terrors), and dismaying vehicular disasters (halfway solved; it was 100% solved as of this afternoon when the used car we bought passed muster with the mechanic, but the truck’s transmission promptly took a dump so that I’ve got to take care of that tomorrow)… HOWEVER.
However, we all are alive and well, all five of us in the House of Farm plus Mosin Nagants, and there’s also laughter to go with the tears, honey & apple based wine, a sixteen pound roast turkey that was brined for three days, and sheep slaughter scheduled for next month. I apologize if anyone was worried; I lost touch with the internet side of life in many ways and did in fact miss the domain change (along with, I’m sure, many other things). My husband noticed the call-out though and made sure to tell me and to insist that I let y’all know I’m still alive. A little greyer, a little more tired, but not putting down my weapon just yet.
Nice to hear you are well and doing fine.
Drop by more often.
Welcome Home! You were missed. “…but not putting down my weapon yet.” Word! Til we run out of blood or bullets.
Stay in touch.
If you look at the rear sight, it’s got a slight curve to it and the tangent stops are visible.
Most likely an M39 of the Finnish variety, so not just ‘a Mosin’, it make it one of the most accurate battle rifles ever fielded.

M27, not 39.
Meant to stand alone comment.
Reply to ‘Ed… Yeah her, little badass. Think there was a post about her a good while back (?) May have been in an added linky comment.
Reply to ‘beans…been curious about farm girl myself…and a number of others. Some we know by their post that they left us, others…not so sure they found the new site. Wasn’t that hard to transition to here, I had signed up for MP’s “notify for new post” thingie way back yonder, so I didn’t miss a notification when the change happened. Just had to change my bookmark bar with the new address.
Reply to Roh-Dog. Thanks Man, can always count on the Hellions of TAH to rattle my memory banks. Was thinking that you or someone else had made the linky on the Finnish version before.
Friend of mine is a Mosin junky, uses the actions to build benchrest toys – 1/4 MOA toys. Keeps him happy.
I have a Czarist 1907 Mosin from Peter The Great arsenal. Nice fit and finish. Shoots as well as a Mauser 98 with irons.
He wasn’t a nice Guy to stab his friend. You guys are pun beating me. I got to get up early and get a head start on the site.
That mug shot of Florida Man looks like his face was kinda fucked up before the beating…
