I was about to say all that picture of Angie in the previous post needed was a gun in her hand. 96% of just over 1.5 million votes say yes, good sign. Now if the local store could get some ammo in so I can get in some target practice. All I have on hand right now is the home defense reserve.

I am leery of such sloppy questions as this, because, no; the 2A does NOT “give” a right. It recognizes a pre-existing right and states that the government is not to infringe it… and we ALL know that the government obeys the constitution.

To infer other than an individual right to keep and bear arms, someone will have to convince me that the folks referred to in “We the people” are simply not the same “people” as “…the right of the people”.
