Tuesday Feel Good Stories
For those embarrassing occasions when you’ve emptied your 30 caliber clip mag.
Don’t miss the troll on Saturday’s FGS. Poor lad.

Two DRT, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, even if one would make a rug, none inconvenienced by jailors or Charge Nurses*, and some number in the wind with a bullet hole or two in their Black Truck (@black_truck_lives_matter.com). Well, hopefully a couple. Props to the neighbor for standing up, anyway.
*I’m told the jobs share more then a few similarities.
There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him. — ROBERT HEINLEIN

Too bad SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts doesn’t have the same opinion regarding tyranny as Heinlein.
My thought, exactly.
*Mostly because we share much of the same clientele.
Wife was an ER Tech; she has some stories…
Bear Lives Matter. So do Bare Lives. I like to lay on a bear skin rug in my bare skin in front of a fireplace. Seems like Cracker Barrel has a policy against that. My court date is coming up next Thursday.
Reading a Monday labeled FGS on Tuesday about a Saturday shooting that was repeated from another Tuesday. Is it Friday yet?
Wonder if CAPT Regina Duckett is related to Hyacinth Buckett and pronounces her name Doo Kay? I’m watching way yonder too much Brit Coms. At least I’m keeping up my appearances.
Does the pistol pictured come with Kung Fu grip? Asking for a G(uy) I(nquiring) Joe.
Any geese migrating through your AO yet, 5th/77th?
They’re still working on training flights where I am but The Gatherings are starting to take place.
Not too many yet. mr ducks are starting to show up at the woods pond/lake about 2 miles up the dead end road. Most of the Atlantic Route is east of me and the re-introduced route is slightly west. They will be drifting this way a little more, prolly end of next week. The Air Base that’s 20 miles west will generally put out a notice on the change in flight patterns for the JSTARS when they geese are coming in heavy. The re-introduced route birds nest near the chil’ren down Tampa way, and the Central/Mississippi Birds hang out near my brothers place west of Mobile. Just north of here in the Hitichi National Forest Area is a major layover spot for them that drift west from the Atlantic Route.
They’ll probably be lifting off from here around mid-October and for a few weeks after that. Lots of the flocks come south from Canada and stop at the Koshkonong area because of that huge marsh up there. Some of the flights go southwest from one of the marshes around here and others go east toward the sunrise and then south.
Hawk time in NE Texas.
Don’t even start on “the right to arm bears”
After the bear showed no sign of being afraid of humans…
When the Things In the Wild aren’t afraid of You Hoomans, you’re in real trouble. Bears would just as soon make a sandwich out of you as look at you. There are reasons for signs that say “Do not feed wildlife” at national parks, but people still do stupid things and wonder why they end up dead.
Black bear in TN is no surprise. Cougars next? They’re down there in Missouri, somewhere near Fort Lost In the Woods, as I understand it.
Oh, here’s a little supplemental FGS: the ecohippies had an extinction rebellion demo yesterday in Chicago. It got about 8 seconds of TV coverage of them lying on the grubby street and sidewalk. There were barely enough there to cover 1/4 of the allotted space.
I’d guess people really do have better things to do than watch spoiled brats make themselves look stupid.
Saw this this morning. I imagine the pictured fishermen were grateful they were wearing brown pants. https://www.foxnews.com/great-outdoors/brown-bear-photobombs-fishermen-alaska-wildlife-photographer
Looks like she was shopping, and saw those guys fishing and stopped to see if they’d help her stock her larder for the sleepover.
I hope That guy didn’t have to grin and Bear it when he shot the bear. Bad shoot for shooting at a moving/fleeing vehicle.
I saw the “Monday FGS” title and thought the Groundhogs Day movie came to life. I was about to run out and throw a rock at my ex.
Shouldn’t the title be TUESDAY feel good stories?
Think of the bears!
