Another blast from the past.
I think everyone at some point or another in their lives can identify with this one.

Ahhhh………..if I had speakers on my computer………..
3.5 mm output plug, pair of classic full range Panasonic headphones, and a volume control worked on it and got the job done. Knocked the wax right on off them ear drums.
Tanks Hondo!
Grabbin’ the headphones. Nothing like a simple blasting 5/4/1 chord progression. Thanks, Hondo.
Tuesday’s gone with the wind.
I trust one of you dickweeds are capable of posting such.
I would appreciate it.

I’ve always thought of that one as a modern hat tip/update to Hank Williams’ “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”. The two tunes simply seem to fit together like hand and glove.
Nope, never heard it; it’s after my musical “time.” Right now I’m listening to CSN&Y.
A bit of CSN trivia: “Wooden Ships” wasn’t written by CSN – it was written by CSK, the “K” being Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner. Crosby composed the melody; Stills and Kantner composed the lyrics.
The song also appeared on Airplane’s “Volunteers” album; both bands (CSNY and Jefferson Airplane) performed the tune at the first Woodstock.

GREAT Song! Thanks for the trivia lesson, Hondo!
You’re welcome. FWIW: the JA version is available on YouTube here. It’s . . . different, and somewhat interesting.
It’s getting to the point
Where I’m no fun anymore…
Always liked is “Auberge” as well.
“his” Auberge… https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?fr=yfp-t&p=auberge+youtube#id=5&vid=81ab13074511e3b389bbb82933e7eb29&action=view
“Auberge” is also one of the suggested tracks that come up after the embedded track above completes playing – 3rd or 4th, I think. Select the right arrow until you can see a window for “Auberge”, then select it to play that track.
I believe “Road to Hell” and “Texas” (two of my favories by Rea) are also on the suggested playlist, but I’m not positive about that.
Addendum: I checked, and “Road to Hell” is indeed on the suggested playlist. But “Texas” is not.
