In March 2017, DPAA announced that it had accounted for 2nd Lt Harry H. Gaver, Jr., USMC. 2nd Lt Gaver was lost at Pearl Harbor, HI, on 7 December 1941.
2nd Lt Gaver will be buried next week – on Wednesday, 24 July 2019 – at Arlington National Cemetery. Regrettably, DPAA does not seem to have posted the specific location for his funeral service.

I used to say it more often, but God bless the folks at the DPAA. What they do is just awe inspiring – especially to the military community and the families. It is comforting to know that the US will never stop looking for the remains of our fighting men and women if they are missing.
Welcome home, gentlemen, rest easy and job well done.
Will raise a glass and a salute to the Warriors. Our hopes for a good turn out, locally, for their interment in the Home Soil.

He will be laid to rest in the Beth Emeth Cemetery on Turner Lane in Loudonville, on Sunday, July 21, at 2 p.m. with full military naval honors. Cantor Jodi Schechtman of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany will be officiating The public is invited to attend the service.
