Houston Pastor, Wife Shoot and Kill Home Intruder

by Jordan Michaels
If 24-year-old Roberto Sanchez thought hitting a pastor’s home in suburban Houston would make an easy score, he discovered his mistake far too late.

Local media reports that United Methodist Church Rev. Jeff Powers and his wife Julie were awakened just before midnight on Saturday by a loud noise coming from their back yard. Going to investigate, they noticed their gate was open and saw someone creeping through their yard.

Both husband and wife retrieved their firearms while “the suspect forced his way and gained entry into the residence,” according to a police report.

That’s when the couple opened fire.

Deputies: Man Shoots Other Man In Self-Defense After Confrontation At Sutter County Motel

YUBA CITY (CBS13) – A couple is under arrest after they allegedly caused a big, violent scene at a motel near Yuba City.

The incident happened late Tuesday night at the Lexington Inn.

According to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 11:30 p.m. to investigate reports of shots fired. At the scene, deputies found that a man, Raymond Gonzales, had a gunshot wound to his leg.

As deputies soon learned, another man had shot Gonzales in self-defense.

Gonzales and a woman were allegedly causing a disturbance at the motel. Gonzales was reportedly seen choking a woman, prompting the other man to get a gun from his room and confront him.

The man told Gonzales he needed to stop because there were children in the area. However, this confrontation led to Gonzales pulling out his own weapon and opening fire. The other man shot back, hitting Gonzales in the leg.

Colin Warren-Hicks
A Pensacola man was arrested after his girlfriend told investigators that he abused her throughout the day until she ultimately stabbed him in self-defense.

Calvin Williams, 50, was arrested Monday while he was still a patient at Baptist Hospital, where he was receiving treatment for a puncture wound.

He was charged with two counts of battery, false imprisonment and violation of a domestic violence injunction. His bond was set at $45,000.

According to an arrest report, the woman told deputies that Williams, her boyfriend of eight years, had physically abused her May 5. She said that despite an active domestic violence injunction stipulating that Williams have no contact with her, she allowed him to live with her to help pay rent.

Today, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, brings us one mort, two inconvenienced awaiting trial, and none in the wind. The P-Cola incident is on the dicey side for a couple of reasons, both stemming from the paper she had on him.

The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjugated races to possess arms.

There are, unfortunately, far too many battered women who believe that a court order and/or the police will make their shitbags stop being shitbags, versus making them stay away and go be someone else’s problem.

Top of the Day, FIRST thing this Morning. A Happy Day to all of the Mamas out there in TAH Land. And a happy day to all of the muthers out there too.

Did the preacher and his wife pray for the perps soul as they ventilated his body? One more sinner sent to hell.

Not a good idea to be choking on someone when there are witnesses. Dumbass.

And Ladies, no matter how much help you need with the rent, you don’t need an abusive room mate.

Gots me a crockett pot with a beef orasting beast a’perculating lowly, taters, carrots, and onion for the Mama of some furbabies. Her hooman offspring are cross the country, they will call her at least.

We lost our Mama in ’81. Still hurts.

I guess Mr. Gonzalez wasn’t too speedy pulling out his gun, heater, rod, gat, etc.

Apparently Mr. Sanchez was not familiar with C. S. Lewis’ work “Why I Am not a Pacifist,” which I think can be found in “The Weight of Glory.”
