Army Investigating Soldier’s Alleged Leadership In Neo-Nazi Terror Group

Nate Thayer, the journalist who ‘gets’ us, has his net thrown wide and far into the world of the neo-nazi and the home grown terror group. So much so that the bastion of journalistic integrity, HuffPo, has picked up on his work and decided to expand on it. The more exposure these whack-jobs receive the better- sunshine is he best disinfectant.

Of course, HuffPo takes it to a new level.

The Army private is allegedly a recent leader of the Atomwaffen Division, a violent white supremacist group.

By Christopher Mathias

An active-duty soldier in the U.S. Army is under investigation for his alleged leadership role in a neo-Nazi terror group, a military official has confirmed to HuffPost.

Last month, independent journalist Nate Thayer published an article identifying 22-year-old Corwyn Storm Carver as a recent leader of the Atomwaffen Division, a violent, Charles Manson-worshipping, white supremacist group whose members and supporters were implicated in five murders in 2017.

Carver is a private first class in the 1st Armored Division, stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.

I can confirm that Pfc. Carver is an active-duty Soldier stationed here at Fort Bliss,” Lt. Col. Crystal Boring, a spokeswoman for the 1st Armored Division, told HuffPost in a statement. “There is an ongoing investigation into this matter, and per Army policy, additional information cannot be released until adjudication.”

The investigation will likely look into whether Carver’s alleged membership in Atomwaffen violated Army regulations regarding extremist activity and discrimination.

News of the investigation into Carver comes after two recent HuffPost reports identified 11 other members of the military who are currently being investigated for their ties to a separate white nationalist group called Identity Evropa.

The problem of white nationalists in the armed forces is severe: A Military Times poll in 2017 found that nearly 25 percent of people in the U.S. military have encountered white nationalists within its ranks.

Extremism experts and law enforcement officials have long expressed deep concern about white nationalists in the armed services, who they say pose a dangerous threat to civilian populations in the U.S. A 2008 FBI report warned that “extremist leaders seek to recruit members with military experience in order to exploit their discipline, knowledge of firearms, explosives and tactical skills as well as [in the case of active-duty military] their access to weapons and intelligence.”

25 Percent? Wow, I think I ran into one in my entire time in the Navy. Not to play down the seriousness of the issue, and these meltdowns need to be shown the egress most ricky-tic.

Read the rest of the article here at HuffPo and if you don’t agree you’re a White Supremacist. Or something.

Thanks for the link, Nate.

Maybe that 25% of people in the U.S. military who have encountered white nationalists within its ranks have all met the same racist.

Aw1ed trying to root out service nazis is akin to democrats trying to root out Russian collusion. It’s pretty hilarious and as I brought up in another one of these threads there are massive serious issues with gang activity in the US military but it has nothing to do with everyone’s favorite boogeyman white supremacy.

But read it on the internet must be legit.

The Other Whitey

I’m a little curious as to how many are actual nazis vs how many were cases of “I’m bored, I think I’ll entertain myself by fucking with somebody.”

I have such a bullshitter at my station. He has, on different occasions, claimed to be:
– A nazi
– A militant Jewish extremist
– A gay porn star
– A temperance crusader
– A bestiality fetishist
– A doomsday cult founder/leader
– A doomsday cult escapee
– A transsexual
– A member of the westboro baptist church (intentionally uncapitalized)

There have been a few others I couldn’t think of off the top of my head. He’s just a professional bullshitter. The guy was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer—at 30!—and I didn’t realize he was actually serious about it for a few days.

He is also batshit crazy.

WTF is a white nationalist?
Is it the new white supremacist?

Global warming is now climate change.
Gun control is now gun violence.
The Newspeak is confusing.

rgr769

Naw, gun control is “sensible gun safety.” Your Progda approved Newspeak Dictionary is out of date.

LCpl Rhodes

“WTF is a white nationalist?”

“Is it the new white supremacist?”

Yes, it’s a phrase they actually developed themselves to rebrand their movement.

SFC D

in 24 years active federal service, not once did I ever encounter anyone that could be described as a “white nationalist”. I did, however, have a real close friend and fellow NCO that was a Junior Black Panther as a yute. He seemed to have outgrown that.

Snappy Dan

I remember doing health & wealth fare inspections in the infantry in the early 80.
This one Lt commented on a soldiers stack of easyrider magazines.
He said wow he’s into motorcycles. I said have u ever read the magazine.
He said no.

Really racist magazine

25% citation needed.

Someone, like a fake news propagandist, pulled that number out of his ass, just like the poodle does with his Lars-facts. Or, maybe what the fake newser means is that there are 25% of those serving in the military who believe we should have a nation which is a constitutional republic and happen to be Caucasians. That number I would believe, though I would hope it would be higher.

HMCS(FMF) ret

You know that Commie-Tsar will be coming in here to defend the 25% number while holding his “talisman of truth” (his micropenis) and his binders of empiric data.

A Proud Infidel®™️

Yeah, conjure the goblin and make him whip his Empirical Evidence out!!!

I think Pfc Carver is going to have a problem with one of the the Army’s, “Seven Core Values”.

3. Respect
Treat people as they should be treated. In the Soldier’s Code, we pledge to “treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.” Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. Respect is trusting that all people have done their jobs and fulfilled their duty. And self-respect is a vital ingredient with the Army value of respect, which results from knowing you have put forth your best effort. The Army is one team and each of us has something to contribute.

All racists, regardless of origin or target of their hate, need to go. No justification for any of that shit, and anyone who says, “Yeah, well, but…” needs a swift dickpunch and an equally swift boot out the door.

Hate_me

I disagree. People have the right to be willfully retarded. Racists have as much right to be racist as hippies and socialists have a right to believe their own shortsighted and misguided goals. Acting on that racism is an entirely different matter. Promulgating their racist philosophy, while serving in the military, likewise requires a swift response (though to promote such as a civilian should absolutely remain part of an inalienable right).

To just slam the door in their face does nothing but build upon their anger and hatred – while completely ignoring that those issues didn’t arise out of a vacuum.

NHSparky

Nope. Shit like that will poison a unit and compromise any mission faster than you can say Klanrazapanther.

And yes, that and gang/race tats, etc., are a bar to enlistment, as well they should be.

Hate_me

Membership in such organizations is a bar to enlistment. Promoting ideas that are counter to those of the service are grounds for dismissal.

Simply holding racist beliefs shouldn’t be, as long as it doesn’t negatively impact performance – as long as they aren’t outspoken or disrupting good order and discipline, I care more about their performance than what they truly believe about other people. Best cure for such ignorant mindsets is education through exposure to competent individuals of other races.

rgr769

Serving with other races and socio-economic backgrounds is one way to put an end to racist attitudes. That was one of the benefits of the draft and its motivation for some young men to enlist. When you live in the bush 24/7 with men from all over the country, regardless of race or ethnicity, suddenly character is more important than skin color.

Officials at Fort Bliss, Texas, are investigating a soldier for his alleged ties to a neo-Nazi group, a spokeswoman confirmed to Army Times on Friday.

Pfc. Corwyn Storm Carver, 22, is suspected of belonging to the Atomwaffen Division, the Huffington Post reported on Friday, a white supremacist group whose supporters have been implicated in murders motivated by bigotry.

“The Army does not tolerate racism, extremism, or hatred in our ranks,” 1st Armored Division spokeswoman Lt. Col. Crystal Boring said in a statement. “When an individual enters into the Army, they are held to the high moral and ethical standards articulated as the Army Values. We uphold those same standards.”

Journalist Nate Thayer reported allegations of Carver of holding leadership in the hate group in April, following Huffington Post stories of 11 other service members under investigation for ties to Identity Evropa, another white supremacist group.

“Commanders in the Army have the authority to employ the full range of administrative and disciplinary actions, including administrative separation or appropriate disciplinary action, against military personnel who engage in prohibited activity including supremacist, extremist, or criminal gang doctrine, ideology or causes,” Boring said.

Carver was contacted for comment but hung up on a reporter and didn’t answer subsequent text messages, the Huffington Post reported.

A handful of reports of service members’ ties to white nationalist or supremacist groups have popped up in recent years, while a Military Times poll found that nearly a quarter of troops had seen evidence of white nationalism among their fellow troops

Lt Col Boring? The jokes write themselves.

I was thinking the same. Once she was Major Boring and perhaps someday she’ll be General Boring.

Just An Old Dog

25% of service members report contact with a ” White Nationalist”
Today’s young service member have been indoctrinated to think that anyone who has a picture with a Confederate Flag in it, speaks with a southern accent or says that Jussie Smollete is a piece of shit is a ” White Nationalist”
As a First Sergeant I was called on the carpet by my Battalion Sgt Major because I supposedly had a magazine on my desk that said ” Sponsored by the Klu Klux Klan.”
It was a copy of the Latest ” Civil War Times” that had a picture of Picket’s Charge on the back cover.
The Sergeant Major just rolled his eyes.

Hate_me

False claims like that should be met with stringent punishment… then we might not see such ridiculous numbers like 25% report contact with white nationalists and we could go back to being professional soldiers instead of perpetual victims.

Sapper3307

I was on Fort Bragg when the Burmeister killed two people off base in 1995. The Army considered all white males on base white supremist. It made it real hard to get promoted.

Mark Matis

Tribe at work. Quelle surprise!

David

Didn’t we already talk about this clown?

Agree with the above… nowadays if someone overhears you describe yourself as “white” you are classified as a racist nationalist Nazi piece of shit.

LCpl Rhodes

I’m glad they’re doxxing the fuck out of these Nazi pieces of shit online. These morons can’t help but brag about being in the Army anonymously, which helps people to identify them easier. They’ve discovered about 12 different assholes in the military that have been bragging about being in white nationalist organizations over the last couple months.
