One dead after self-defense shooting on Martha Street
JACKSON, Tenn. — A man who was injured in a Thursday morning shooting in east Jackson has died. Police have confirmed the shooting was in self-defense.
Jackson police confirmed Friday that the shooter will not face charges in connection with the death of 32-year-old Tristan Kinnes, of Jackson.
Kinnes was injured in the shooting on the 100 block of Martha Street around 1:45 a.m. Thursday.
Kinnes was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle, but later died from his injuries at a Memphis hospital.

Victim wrestles gun away, shoots at suspect during attempted robbery

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Lubbock Police are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob the Boost Mobile at 4431 50th Street around 10:45 a.m.Police say received multiple calls that shots were fired near the Quaker Square shopping center. When they arrived, they learned the incident started as a robbery. The suspect entered the store with a gun and demanded money. After a brief struggle, the victim was able to get the gun and fire it at the suspect.
No injuries were reported.

Maricopa man shot after allegedly invading homes

MARICOPA — A man was shot in Maricopa after he reportedly entered multiple houses before one resident took action Thursday night.Maricopa Police Department spokesman Ricardo Alvarado said officers received a call around 7 p.m. of a man entering a residence. That man was Kenneth Lewis, who was seen wandering the Cobblestone Farms neighborhood, where he lives, telling people that others were out to kill him.
He first reportedly walked into a neighbor’s house on Garden Lane and was told by the resident inside to leave immediately. He then walked to Celtic Avenue and entered a house through an unsecured side door. For reasons yet unknown, he took a canned food item, entered the house’s garage and threw the can through a window, which he then jumped through.

Probably thought it was a grenade and he was taking out a machine gun nest.
Wondering if alcohol and/or drugs were involved.
Sounds more like an individual with a “slight brain imbalance” and needs either medication of “other” procedures to help him effectively cope in society. He appears to be thinking but not in a linear manner.
1/1/1 iffy at most, at least 2 out of 3 contained. 1, injured leaves a lot to imagination but results are good. 2. another one loses his gun while trying to get easy money, wonder which was more, amount of money in register or value of gun. 3, unknown charges, well looks like 2 breaking and entry, destruction of property, menacing, disturbing the peace. Only question on charges is what ever happened at the first home as are no details as to anything happening there other than walked into the home. Grenade, I doubt it but good start for more PTS of D jokes, probably was can of Lima beans from back in the early 50’s that was served in school, only way to make them edible was lots of Ketchup and Mustard. Am out of here, feed livestock, KP and what ever else.

Saw that about the shooting also, will be the usual witness reply as to that, “I done see nuffin, I be hidin”. Chitago, free fire zone in the US of A.
