President Trump Helps Chief Gallagher Reunite With his Family

Thanks to efforts by his supporters, 18 House Republicans, and others, President Trump caused a change in Chief Gallagher’s situation. One of the things that the chief was able to do, as a result of this action, was to reunite with his family.
Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher was charged with killing a prisoner in Iraq. His confinement conditions were such that he was unable to effectively interact with his defense team, get proper medical assistance, proper nutrition, etc.
He was moved to the barracks, and into a situation that would allow him to get the treatment he should be getting while he waits for trial. This includes being able to be fully engaged with his defense team as they work on a strategy to argue his case before trial.

In their March 18 letter to Spencer, the House members said Gallagher’s family and friends reported that he had not had sufficient access to his defense attorneys. They also said they got reports he was not receiving enough food or adequate medical care.
Housing prisoners such as Gallagher who are awaiting trial with those who have completed their trials may be to blame for some of those problems, they said, and they called on Spencer to review that practice.
Following the transfer, the Facebook post claimed he “was finally moved into conditions that will allow him to receive the medical care he needs and deserves, and also the opportunity to adequately and fully prepare for his trial with his legal team.”
His lawyer believes that he didn’t commit the murder. Instead, he argues that disgruntled Sailors made those claims to “get back” at someone who was demanding.

But then, we have the two SEALs that killed an Army Special Forces dude over money in some African shithole.
Bad paperwork would have prevented them from getting six figure contracting jobs/book/movie deals.

This SEAL warrior deserves every opportunity to mount an effective legal defense strategy. A salute to the CINC for releasing Chief Gallagher from the brig.
Even if he’s guilty—and there seems to be plenty of reasonable doubt on that question—he can’t be denied food, medical care, and access to his legal representation. Somebody at the Miramar consolidated brig better have his balls in a sling over that. Whether they believe the charges and think he deserves it, or they worked something out with his accusers to sabotage him, or there’s just some power-tripping asshole swinging his dick like a hammer, that can’t be allowed to fly.

Looks like someone is pushing for overturned guilty verdict, on first appeal.
That’s truly unconstitutional and although we gave up part of our rights when we went into the military, the right to proper representatives in court and no starvation techniques…

No, this is the one where his teammates turned him in because he went off the rails and starting shooting at unarmed old men and little girls.
If this was a bullshit case, there’s no way NSWC would have been willing to drag their name through the dirt by making it public.
This is the case where fellow Seals turned him in for a variety of things, to include shooting at little girls.

Good. Remember this clusterfuck country letting violent convicted criminals out early and hundreds of thousands of illegals. This is the least they could do for a citizen that’s served.

The simple fact that others are being released by the thousands with little regard for common sense OR the law is just stupid.
I’d like to point out that none of his peers have spoken up for him. And he was put in pre trial confinement by United States Naval Special Warfare Command. Not by NCIS, not by the lawyers. His fellow Seals thought he was a danger to people and a flight risk. And he was put in pre trial confinement for making credible threats against witnesses and their families. When you’re referring to a prosecution witness, saying you’re not worried because they won’t be around to testify.
We have to be better then our enemies. Stabbing a wounded guy in the neck, AFTER the fight is over, and taking selfies with the body, not to mention shooting at little girls (and that was verified in the Art 32 by numerous witnesses) is some ISIS shit.
