By Brie Stimson
Baltimore County police arrested an off-duty trooper with the Maryland State Police for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver in a road rage incident while on Interstate 695 in Baltimore Sunday evening.

The suspect, identified as Zachary Tyler Bowen, 28, allegedly sped up next to a man and woman driving on the outer loop of the freeway after the duo changed lanes. Bowen then allegedly pointed a handgun at them. It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the alleged altercation.

The passengers in the other vehicle were able to identify Bowen to the police and he was later arrested at his home in Baltimore County without incident, police said

Portage resident stabbed man in back before being fatally shot during dispute over money, police say

By: Bob Kasarda
PORTAGE — A dispute over money resulted in a Portage resident stabbing a Lake Station man in the back and then being fatally shot in return, according to police.

The deceased, who was identified Monday morning as Jamie Vincent, 35, was found by police about 8 p.m. Sunday lying at the front edge of the driveway at his home in the 2500 block of Dombey Road, Portage Police Chief Troy Williams said.

The Lake Station man, whom The Times is not identifying because no charges have been filed yet against him, underwent surgery Sunday night and is in stable condition, Williams said.

Vincent’s 15-year-old son, who was shot in the right hand during the incident, was treated for his injuries and released, police said. The boy will require an operation for his injury.

Williams said the Lake Station man went to Vincent’s house Sunday night at Vincent’s request “to settle up on an outstanding monetary debt.” The two had been related through marriage at one time, police said.

Man charged in the death of his girlfriend who encountered concealed-carry holder during attempted robbery

By: Jesse Garza
A Milwaukee man has been charged in the death of his girlfriend who was shot to death by a woman she tried to rob, according to a criminal complaint.

Lashawn E. Gates, 26, is charged with felony murder in the death of 17-year-old Andreana Manney on Feb. 9 in the 3900 block of North 16th Street, the complaint said.

According to the complaint, Gates supplied Manney with the .40 caliber handgun that she used while attempting to rob a woman of a laptop computer and an Apple watch.

Using a fake name, Gates had contacted the intended victim and arranged the bogus purchase on the website “letgo.”

He was on the phone with the woman just before the robbery attempt and told her his girlfriend would conduct the transaction so that the woman would feel more comfortable.

After Manney entered the woman’s vehicle, she pointed the handgun she got from Gates at the victim and announced the robbery. The two began to struggle over the gun before Manney exited the vehicle while shooting at the woman.

The woman, a concealed-carry permit holder, then retrieved her own firearm and shot Manney multiple times, according to the complaint.

The killing has been determined to be an act of self-defense, according to Milwaukee police.

Looks like a 2 / 3 / 0 day, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, with much stupid to spread around. Two achieving ambient temperature, three in the can or on a gurney, and none seen rapidly finding a new place to be. Then again, they could already be there, waiting.

Love me some Brother AW1Ed. If I was stuck out on the big pond serving some floating Artillery, nothing would beat having an Orion P-3 on station along with a whirlybirded dipping sonar.

Oh and yeah… Marine Colonel McKenzie AKA Catherine Bell to defend me against jealous husbands on trumped up UCMJ Charges. Hubba Hubba Hubba….Hot as she is, she don’t need no stove to be cooking.

“Manney exited the vehicle while shooting at the woman”.
That intended female victim performed perfectly while under fire..
Managed to draw her own gun and shoot the perp while not hitting any passers by.
Well done! Good shooting.
Saved the taxpayers some money by killing the robber and the police caught the mastermind.
Tip to criminals…don’t call your minion immediately before the crime.
