Earl Woolery arrested

| July 12, 2018

Back in May, we talked about Earl Woolery, a US Army veteran currently living in Canada. He deployed to Lincoln, Nebraska for Desert Storm.

Well, our partners at Stolen Valour – Canada tell us that he turned himself in yesterday to the local constabulary, the Ontario Provincial Police. He’s been charged with theft under $5000, fraud under $5000, criminal breach of trust, falsification of books/documents and the S419 charge relating to the medals he wears that may not be his.

Apparently, his thievery was committed when he stole from the Poppy Fund which the Royal Canadian Legion administers and provides financial assistance and support to Veterans, including Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP, and their families who are in need.

Woolery will appear in court on August 9th to answer for these charges.

Wherever you lie about your service, we’ll find you.

The stolen valour part seems to always be just the tip of the iceburg with these folks.

Stolen Valor is often merely the rancid cherry topping a sh!t sundae. Looks like that was likely the case here.

Also looks like my (and several others’) “spidey sense” may have been dead on target about this guy back in May.

There’s almost always a fraud scheme going on with the lies about service, the sad part is that the public these days wants to help and thus make almost willing victims for scam artists.

Since so few people serve the nation these days most folks don’t really know anything about the military and lies are hard to uncover if you start from a base of ignorance on the subject at hand. Stolen Valor and televangelism have that in common, their victims don’t really know much about the base topic making but they still want to do something good for their country or their god….the fraudsters don’t seem to have to work too hard to make a few bucks.

I hope this turd learns some great karmic lessons during the resolution of this case.

Who doesn’t remember the battle of 76 Lincoln? The dreaded Sooners of Oklahoma almost bested our beloved Cornhuskers.

I see he is wearing the battle of Waterloo medal that was given to him by Napolian while he was vacationing on Elba. where is SGT. Preston, Dudley Do Right and add in Johnny Dollar in case there was insurance fraud. Point of note-Napolian did not sit here and pull his boneapart as seen written on the walls above men’s room urinals.

Legend has it that it was actually Napoleon that played a big role in all this stolen valor mess. Before him there were very few medals issued. He found that French soldiers loved getting medals for bragging rights almost as much as getting paid. So he started the fancy bling hand out that we see today. I think half these guys would not do it if there were no bling to be displayed. At least that is what my history teacher taught me at Leavenworth.

I bet Chuck is sad…..

Thank God for the maps. Until now I had actually thought Lincoln, Nebraska was just South of Baghdad. That shit-eating grin on his face says a lot about why he is so proud to wear his undeserved medals on his suit. If a dude would steal from the Poppy Fund, I’d bet he often volunteers taking up tithes at his church, leaving other members wondering why tithes are so down this year. Surely nothing to do with poor Earl wearing $1,000 suits to service these days. The only proper way to settle this mater once & for all is to let the Dixie Chicks handle it.
