The 25-year-old Brownsville man who was identified as the suspect in a Tuesday officer-involved shooting remains hospitalized, according to Brownsville Police Chief Felix Sauceda.Alberto Pintor Jr. was identified as the suspect who was shot after allegedly shooting at a Texas Department of Public Safety unit during a police chase Tuesday morning.
According to a statement released by DPS, a DPS trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue Ford Explorer Tuesday at around 10 a.m. for a traffic violation on Linda Street and Willow Street.
The driver — now identified as Pintor — refused to stop and led the trooper on a police chase, where he shot at the DPS unit.
Several nearby schools went into lockdown due to the police chase and the shooting.

Suspect shot and killed during Evansville break-in, two other suspects on the run

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police are still looking for the two burglars who were apart of the deadly home invasion.Authorities say the 911 call came in just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday at a home on Sweetser Avenue, near McConnell Avenue.
“2 of the subjects fled, one person is diseased inside the home,” said Evansville Police Public Information Officer Anthony Aussieker.
Authorities spent the day searching the area for the two suspects who are still on the loose. Numerous officers were aiding in the search, and a drone was also being used.
“We are a castle doctrine state, so you are allowed to use that kind of force to protect your home- but you know that’s part of the investigation to determine if that standard was met- so the investigation is still very brand new,” Aussieker said.
Officials at the scene say the homeowner was not hurt.

No word on what the person in the home was diseased with. Thanks, Gun Bunny.

Obviously spelling, grammar and context are not prerequisites to be hired by WEVV. Wondering if they know how to spell “lawer”?
Easy, liar.
Can’t say you’re wrong.
Cook Out tends to locate their stores either close to or in the hood. If you Google shootings at their restaurants you will get at least a dozen different ones. It’s not quite as bad as going to a hooka bar but if I worked there I would definitely go armed.
Sounds like a good place to avoid.
Daquan Markel Brown…..tell me your skin melanin content, without telling me your skin melanin content.
And hopefully Claw is awake from his winter hibernation, and has kept the Whiz Wheel in good repair. Someone, anyone, hand him a cuppa joe.
And was customer service and the food THAT bad that Mr Brown had to come back to complain with an AK47? Damn! Rough neighborhood! And during the Sunday dinner rush, at that. Definitely put a crimp in things.
What was 17y.o. Eugene doing to upset 24y.o. Daquan? Messing around with his GF? Maybe even his sistah?
The usual suspects…doing the usual things. *sigh* Welcome to my world.
No, I don’t see where I would want to spend 4 very large on a Boom Stick. I can buy a very nice repro cannon for that.
Sadly, prices keep escalating, but for my needs less than half that $4K buys anything I could need. Wants… as long as Sharps are still available, HKs or any other plastic squirt gun will just have to wait .
Yep…

Just from what I read, I get the feeling that Mr. Brown did not get a lot of practice time with his chosen weapon. Apparently Eugene, who was working at the time, had time and forethought to come equipped and ready to the Gun Fight. Although it wasn’t held at High Noon, it appears that the principals of marksmanship were observed!
Principles?! They gots principles?!
That’s like saying that DildoCrats gots ethics.
“No word on what the person in the home was diseased with.”
The poor fellow died of lead poisoning. Heavy metal toxicity is some serious business.
Whiz Wheel®™ PMCS completed and here is the result:
Daquan Markel Brown (DAM/WRT) 38 x 4 = 152
Claw, thx for the Whiz Wheel Report.
Glad to see that you’re awake and out of your cave enough to see your shadow.
Thank You, just been kind of lurking lately working on other things and haven’t been doing as much commenting as I have in the past.
