Earl Woolery; walting in Canada
Our partners at Stolen Valor – Canada shared their work on this fellow, Earl Woolery who claims that he served in Desert Storm as a Cavalry Scout. He was a Staff Sergeant serving in an amored cavalry unit but he wasn’t in Desert Storm, unless Lincoln, Nebraska was threatened by Saddam Hussein;
Mr Woolery was assigned to an Army Reserve Unit that didn’t deploy to Desert Storm;
Category: Phony soldiers, Valor Vultures
His name is Earl Clarence Woolery, III and with a name like that you would expect a chest full of medals, a stylist walking stick and top hat!
Shitz on a decent service record, moroon!
Wonder if he is related to Chuck of game show fame.
A moron.
Well , the shit hit the fan for this prick up here in Canada this week . Woolery was Treasurer for the Canadian Legion in Flesherton Ontario and was relieved of his duties earlier this year .Upon Legion , Ontario Provincial Police and independant investigations he has been charged with 5 counts in Ontario Provincial Court . Two of the most serious ones being theft over 5000 dollars and fraud over 5000 . He has also been charged for unlawful use of military uniforms and items .
Doesn’t Canada have a lot stricter Stolen Valor laws? Perhaps Mr. Woolery might find himself in a bit of trouble soon, eh?
Looks like EARL CLARENCE WOOLERY, III is dying to meet up with “Little” Pierre and get his Canadian SQUEAKHOLE DORKED…
Yes…..our SV laws are strict, and always prosecutored.
And, they use maple syrup for lube in Canuck prisons
* prosecuted
More caffeine reqd
‘prosecutored’ is just fine. It’s one more level than just ‘prosecuted’.
Jeez…that required a “DO NOT TAKE A DRINK BEFORE YOU READ THIS” warning…just spit iced tea on my work monitor
once again, the pictures included make this article so much better. love it.
but one thing about this bugs me: where are the ladders to heaven? every badge ever made? claims of being in super secret blacker than black ops units? the thousand millimeter stare? the stories about being the lone survivor of impossible missions? the Mexican or North Korean general rack? I feel kinda let down.
jim h: For many civilians who never served, what he’s wearing would be impressive as hell. After all: he’s wearing TEN MEDALS!
true enough, Hondo. but I’m just disappointed he didn’t go all the way. I also note that he doesn’t have a ton on of gallantry/valor awards and devices on there. maybe his conscious was nagging him a bit.
Is he a Canadian who invaded Nebraska or an American who invaded Ontario?
Cocksucker!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Shack!
It must suck to train extensively on various equipment, then not be sent off to use those skills when the time comes.
That being said, He is stupid for devaluing his honor just to say that he participated in something he never was involved in. Adding eBay medals on top of the lie is just unconscionable.
Jackass.
Just like my 20-year service in the peace-time army! I feel like a fireman who’s never been to a fire.
I’ve been to a fire. It is overrated. Except for getting shot at, my peacetime service as an SF officer was more interesting and exciting. Besides, make believe war is more fun because usually nobody is maimed or dies. Remember, we will always need trained and competent firemen at the ready for when there is a fire.
There are references to an “Earl Woolery III” that appear in at least one Facebook page belonging to Branch 333 of the Royal Canadian Legion (Flesherton-Marksdale).

There also appears to be a LinkedIn profile for an “Earl Woolery III” who claims to be “Controller” at Wepackit Machinery, Priceville, ON. (I don’t do LinkedIn, so I can’t access the profile to read it.)

Priceville, ON, and Flesherton, ON, are each within a few miles of Markdale, ON. I’m thinking these other two links are likely the same guy.
Perhaps the RCL and his employer would like to know about this guy’s apparent problems with being truthful about his military past (if they don’t already). As I recall, in some organizations the position of “Controller” handles the organization’s financial matters.

Yeah, all of those sound exactly like positions an employer would want filled by someone willing to lie through their teeth about their background.
Job hopping with barely a year for each job is not a good sign. Not at all. And he’s in accounting. ‘Nuf said.
Am I the only one old enough to remember Bob Newhart’s ‘Button-Down Bob’ routine where he said he had had nine accounting positions in three years?
I really liked his telephone conversations. He sure was great at playing them.
Grey County OPP have arrested a man on charges related to missing money from a local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
52-year-old Earl Woolery III faces five charges stemming from approximately $16,000 reported missing by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 333 in Flesherton.
An arrest warrant had been issued for Woolery after he failed to meet with police, and refused requests for contact.
Flesherton Legion President and Chaplain Shawn Ankenmann says he first became aware of irregularities earlier this year, and when they approached him, he claimed he had “fallen behind”.

HEY Earl Clarence Woolery III, TAKE OFF, HOSER!!
The map based reality here made me lol. 🙂
ARMY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL WITH 2 OAK LEAF CLUSTERS
Looks like an ARCOM. Why the different wording?
Per this tool’s FOIA reply, the only personal decoration he has is the AAM with ONE OLC. He’s wearing it with 3 OLC in the photo above (top row, outboard medal).
His FOIA lists no MSM or ARCOMs. In the photo, he’s wearing the MSM (inboard medal; can’t see the ribbon, so no idea how many if any OLCs) and the ARCOM w/2 OLC.
He also rates the Army Reserve Forces Achievement Medal (ARCAM) with 1 OLC. However, that’s more a service award than a personal decoration. For those who haven’t served in the RC: the ARCAM essentially a GCM for the Selected Reserves (except that officer personnel are also eligible to receive it). At the time this guy served, receiving it required 4 consecutive “good” years of USAR/ARNG service and the individual’s chain-of-command processing the appropriate paperwork. (Sometime in the mid-1990s, the criteria changed to 3 consecutive “good” RC years vice 4.)
Thanks Hondo for sorting it out. I love my ARCOM. No one can take it away.
Canada can keep this putz. Now, let’s talk about sending Justin Bieber back…
Oh god please don’t. It’s bad enough we have Celine Dion. Can you guys just take one for the common good?
He of course also had to pretend he served in the GWOT; he should’ve thrown in Grenada and Panama as well…
Aside from the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the two Liberation of Kuwait Medals and the extra OLCs… what’s the problem? LOL!
Woolery = Fuckery…
Stop pulling the woolery over our eyes earl A. This embellishment doesn’t seem to bother these peeps. How about the time I mentioned the cap I got with the expert infantry badge embroided on it that took me an hour and a half to razor it off because it was not awarded to me and at the same time, everything I did wrong in my life passed in front of my eyes.
This pathetic thing goes to court tomorrow 9 August in Owen Sound, Ontario
what happened at Court?
