Mass stabbing in Boise
According to CBS News, nine people were seriously injured in Boise, Idaho when an unidentified person went on a rampage in an apartment complex;
The police did not yet have a suspected motive for the Saturday night attack but said a 30-year-old man was in custody.
“This incident is not a representation of our community but a single evil individual who attacked people without provocation that we are aware of at this time,” Bones said.
He said the attack resulted in the most victims in a single incident in Boise Police Department history. “As you can imagine, the Wylie Street Apartment and our community is reeling from this attack,” he said.
Police received a report of a stabbing at 8:46 p.m., and responded to the apartment complex within four minutes, Bone said. They found victims in the parking lot and inside the apartment complex. Witnesses reported that the suspect had fled, and police arrested the 30-year-old man a short distance away.
Investigators said they did not yet know if the suspect was connected to the victims in any way.

The Wylie Lane complex is one of a few in town (yeah, Boise is home to the Lurker) that has a fair size immigrant population. Hell, the church half a block from where I live is, by all appearances, full of immigrants. I haven’t heard of many problems, but I have seen the way these groups act- and I anticipate some rising tensions. Personally, every time I see a “refugees welcome ” sticker in a car window, the pressure in my skull increases…

Laws are only obeyed by law-abiding citizens. Criminals generally don’t give two sh!ts what the law says.
It’s also possible one of the existing auto vehicle laws kept him from obtaining a car to drive into people.
I’m thinking that if I were to call my cousins who are LEOs in and around Ada County, they would have quite a bit of prior familiarity with this assbag. Idaho is not exactly a populous state, even in Treasure Valley.

I’m safe because my Knife is not semi automatic. It is a black parkerized blade out the front Benchmade “Infidel” Automatic which you can carry on your person if you have a CCW permit. No permit required if you keep it at home in Florida. It’s too small to fit a chainsaw bayonet on it but maybe the technology will fix that in due time.

About twenty years ago there were small towns in Idaho that had signs touting their Sunset Laws. As in “don’t let the sun set on you in this town”. It was aimed at people who were hard to spot in the dark. I’m not saying that is was right, only that crime was basically nonexistent in those places in that time.
A few years ago, I did some northern Idaho rural camping and managed to get lost a few times (few signs, no GPS and difficult to read National Forest map). I’m glad I was white, had vet tags on a pick up truck and an imposing rescue shepherd…I fit right in, otherwise it might have been “Deliverance 2 – Zeke and Fetus’ Revenge”. Even so, there were a few “towns” where it seemed best to keep moving along…
I lived in a couple of them around the Bear Lake area.
Most of the towns around Bear Lake seem to have a very shallow gene pool.

Nice knife AW1ED; I just looked at my H&K side opening automatic made by Benchmade and is a Mel Pardue limited design. I never noticed it before until reading the comments. Used it mostly to open up bags of ice at our club house functions where I was in charge of the water/soda coolers, sound and lighting. I also have the Benchmade Infidel through the front opening double blade which is parkerized matte black. Legal to carry concealed in Fla. if one has a CCW permit.

Sounds to me like this mentally deranged guy moved into an apartment with a woman who was giving him a temporary place to stay and he was not happy with Muslims.
