Then presidential candidate Trump was vilified for his “rapist” and “criminal” related descriptions regarding illegal aliens from Mexico and other Latino nations. Liberals joined the fold and acted “in solidarity with these immigrants”, with Californian politicians going as far as insisting on California being a sanctuary state. One of those illegals is sitting in jail on suspicion of multiple rapes.
Alfonso Alarcon-Nuñez faces charges involving raping drunk women, burglarizing them, forced oral, etc. His plan of attack involved targeting parties where he knew he could get drunk women to utilize his services as an Uber driver. He’s an illegal alien with a driver’s license:

Alfonso Alarcon-Nunez, 39, was arrested at his Santa Maria home last week. The DA’s Office says he has been identified as an undocumented immigrant. The DA’s Office adds he was voluntarily deported from New Mexico back in 2005.

Liberals on social media are circulating stories of George Garcia, landscaper, being deported after being in the U.S. for 30 years. The implication? That President Trump and conservatives are inhumane and are “xenophobes” and “racists”, and don’t care about wrecking lives to act out their “racism” and “xenophobia”.
What the conservatives are actually arguing; however, is that enforcing the law isn’t just abiding by rule of law. In cases of the need for deportation, enforcing the law could’ve saved lives. Alfonso Alarcon-Nuñez has been charged with 10 felonies, suspected of at least four rapes, and is suspected, based on initial investigation, of conducting even more rapes and burglaries.
Perhaps cooperation with federal immigration authorities and law enforcement, and tighter security at our border, isn’t such a bad idea…

It would not do any good, the state has law enforcement immunity for failure to enforce the law.

US Supreme Court has previously ruled that police have no duty to protect any individual, only to to protect society as a whole.
I would think that a class action lawsuit, from multiple people that have been victimized by illegal aliens that were allowed to remain in the sate, might have a case that due to those sanctuary laws, that LE was in fact failing to protect society as a whole…Might be worth a shot..
You also have a causation issue with any attempt to tie CA to this illegal alien’s crimes. That someone’s crime was unwittingly assisted in some way by a gov’t doesn’t make the gov’t liable or culpable for the crime committed.
In addition to the lack of causation issue, CA has a statutory immunity of all law enforcement agencies and officers for failure to enforce any law or regulation. They also have “discretionary immunity” for policy decisions that cause harm to individuals.
Which kind makes the point…because the State of California is not protecting society as a whole from the actions of people here illegally because of their sanctuary ‘laws’.
They have no problem trying to say a firearm manufacturer and a licenced dealer who sold a firearm legaly is responsible for a criminal who they let out on the street getting a gun illegally and comiting a crime.
Except that the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act won’t permit liability to fall on a gun manufacturer for a crime committed with the gun. Using the legal theory of strict liability (especially back in the 90s) the gun grabbers hoped to destroy the industry by fixing liability on makers of an inherently dangerous product (gun) for criminal and negligent use of that product. That was a fail.
And this is what the California (D)amn-0-crats support over honest, hard-working Americans.

They’re increasingly fighting to marginalize the facts, rule of law, or anything hinting at the fact that there’s a “real world”, and it tends to cast a vote regarding the outcome of any decision that we make.
Liberals have a “rose colored” view of how the world should be, and argue from that standpoint. Unfortunately, basing an argument on emotion, and irrationality, and not on fact, doesn’t end well with them. So, some of the tools they have in their tool bag includes demands for safe spaces, the race card, gender card, attack the conservative card, etc.
Meanwhile, ignore the fact that we do indeed have criminals and rejects crossing the border illegally, in addition to those crossing the border not intending to commit to a life of crime.
The liberals see the later, they refuse to see or acknowledge the former… Especially if it means that they have to acknowledge that President Trump is onto something, with regards to illegal immigration or anything else.

He’s already got a valid driver’s license, so he should be able to vote, right? It’s not like anybody in the Schummer or Feinstein families got hurt. They all take a private car service (probably paid for by tax payer dollars), go to private schools, and live in gated communities, so they don’t have to mingle with “these new voters”. You must break a few eggs to make an omelet, so a few rapes are a pittance to pay to pick-up seats in 2018. Those women were probably Republicans anyway.

There is one inescapable truth about each of these foreign nationals who enter or re-enter the US illegally: they should not be here. That’s it. So, when CA or any other state or subdivision fails, intentionally, to assist the Feds in ridding us of these illegal aliens or, worse, aids the illegal aliens in committing Federal crimes through silence, inaction, or (as here) issuing a driver’s license to one, their hands are filthy.
As of 1 April, illegals obtaining a drivers license, will be registered to vote unless they opt out. There is no provision whatsoever to validate that they are eligible to vote in California, or even in the USA legally.

Beat me to it, 11B. Just finished reading that. The liberals claim this doesn’t do what it does, because the license for illegals is “different”, though thinking people know the government in Califruitsnnutz will register illegals through this program.
My Driver’s License in Washington isn’t going to be good enough to hop on a commercial flight, because my California clone state is issuing licenses to illegals. The only reason it works now, is because the Feds have given us an extension.
Oh, I could go get the enhanced driver’s license, with biometric info on it…for more $$$.

The real kicker here is that Citizens in my state will be forced to undergo ‘Enhanced Background Checks’ for a firearms purchase…yet some illegal from China, Ireland, Mexico, Vietnam, or anywhere else can get a state ID card or license to drive. (If HB 1387 passes)
I paid the extra dough and got one of those here in Vermont because of our close proximity to Canada. I have been a commercial driver for 40 years and have heald a N.Y. Thruway double bottoms license in the past as well as several endorsements for tankers, twin pups and hazmat. I stopped renewing my hazmat because it is a money grab after the first time of issue. After all this time they need my finger prints again? Waste a day and a tank of gas to renew it? No thanks, I don’t need it any more.
Even if they are “different” they’ll be making them like “regular” licenses, because having an illegal alien driver’s license is stigmatizing.

Having a say doesn’t translate into being able to cast a ballot for a candidate for office, something that should be reserved for American citizens. Nothing is stopping them from attending townhall meetings, or from communicating with elected representatives.
Potential movement towards broadening the “struggle” for illegal alien “rights” to be able to do everything that we’re able to do in the electoral process? Or, is there a provision within the law that only allows this process to happen for citizens, and not for illegals getting driver’s licenses?
The local government is not for the illegals, thus thy have no say in it.
Their government, in which they might have a say, is back in their place of legal residence.
If you are termporarily in state B, and are legally of state A, you don’t get to vote in B just because you happen to be there on Election Day. If you want to vote in B, you have to go through their hoops to become a resident.
Forgive me if this is a duplicate post. I made a comment last week about George Garcia, the 39 y.o. child arrival being deported from the Detroit area. I think someone in ICE in the Midwest is making decisions that will make the administration look bad – heartless, cruel, tearing families asunder, etc., – while allowing illegals who are criminals and gang-bangers in the midwest to skate. Several months ago they rounded up 300 Iraqi legal immigrants who did have criminal convictions years ago, served time, and since then have not been in trouble. So, why round them up now? I think someone in ICE is out to make the case for the Dems.

An interesting aspect to this story is being reported by the San Jose Mercury News. All of the student rape victims were Uber customers who had ordered a ride after drinking at parties. According to the Mercury News, Alfonso Alarcon-Nunez was not the driver the women had ordered. Apparently he would do what cab drivers call “jumping the bell” and show up before the other one.
So not only did the nasty pendejo apparently rape his victim, he also screwed another legitimate Uber driver trying to make a living.
Still another factor is that although the rape incidents took place in San Luis Obispo, Alarcon-Nunez lived in Santa Maria which is about 35 miles away. A perceptive prosecutor could probably make the case that such would be the kind of circumstance if a predator wanted distance between his hunting area and his residence.
I find it really hard to believe that a piece of shit ignoring laws of entry would also be involved in other criminal enterprises. After all they are only here raping the Americans that other Americans don’t want to rape…

A good reason not to encourage widespread breaking of one law is that it conditions folks to break many laws. “Hey! I can get away with this pretty easy. I wonder if…”

This is my town. This refried beaner raped drunk girls who attend the local university, by using another ride service, and stealing the rides from Uber drivers. He would drive up to the bars downtown (lots of them in a two block area), and tell young female riders to cancel their Uber, and he would take them cheaper. He made sure they were staggering drunk, and “helped” them to their homes, where he would simply follow them in, and rape.
