Friday morning feel good stories

| October 20, 2017

From Vancouver, Washington;

Vancouver Police said the homeowner — later identified as former Vancouver mayoral candidate Steven Cox — woke up to a person in their backyard in the 14500 block of NE 49th Circle. According to police, Cox confronted the person and fired a shot at them after a physical altercation.

The suspect, 30-year-old Ryan Anderson, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital, but died after arriving.

Detectives stayed throughout the day at the house, as yellow tape encircles what is still considered a crime scene.

From San Antonio, Texas;

The homeowner said intruders tried to break into the house through the front door. When that failed, they went around to the back door and kicked it down. That’s when the homeowner opened fire on the intruders. They fired back before running off.

No one was hurt in the exchange of gunfire. The sheriff’s office is still investigating.

From Jackson, Mississippi;

The deputy was taking a shower when he heard his front door crashing in, investigators said.

A naked man was standing at his bathroom door and fled the home after being ordered to the ground, authorities said.

The deputy ran and threw on some clothes and grabbed his gun and took off after him.

Shortly the deputy was able to catch and arrest the intruder.

“According to deputies on scene the intruder appeared to high on drugs,” Major Pete Luke said.

Investigators said, Ronnie Brown, 29, was taken by AMR to a hospital to be checked out.

The deputy was not hurt and Brown is facing home invasion charges.

From Tulsa, Oklahoma;

Police say an unknown man stole a Yeti Cooler. The employee and suspect had a verbal confrontation. When the suspect left the store, the employee followed and fired one shot at or near the suspect’s vehicle as he drove off.

Police aren’t sure if the suspect was injured.

A shell casing and bullet were recovered from the parking lot and the handgun was recovered inside the store.

Police say the employee was cited for reckless discharge of a firearm.

“When the suspect left the store, the employee followed and fired one shot at or near the suspect’s vehicle as he drove off.”

Friggen IDIOT!

Deplorable B Woodman

I can just imagine the MS scenario: two naked men, face to face, confronting each other, screaming at each other.
Ya can’t make this stuff up. No one would believe you.

Ret_25X

in my head I hear:

“don’t let your dingle dangle dangle in the dirt…”

LOL

Cris

Them were the days when a morning PT run could be fun. I guess nowadays to be PC it’s just “left, right, left, right….” so as to not offend anyone

SSG E

No, it’s “don’t let your dog tags dangle in the dirt…”

Graybeard

That (the Mississippi story) would be an awkward situation in which to find oneself.

Vancouver is right across the river from Portland… which explains so many things.

jonp

Many that work in Portland live across the river for lower taxes.

That Tulsa deal with the knuckle head firing at the car is fodder for the liberals to use things like that incident as an excuse to try and disarm us.

The local yokel news felt it necessary to point out that Cox had ****OMG*****stickers on the back window of his truck:
Combat Vet
NRA
which automatically makes him suspect.
Nothing quite like the liberal mind
