Monday morning feel good stories

I know we already talked about this one in Chicago where a homeowner shot three intruders. But they’ve identified the perps and I wanted to play Name Scrabble;

Celeste “CeCe” Cockriel and her cousins, Narcisco “Kiko” Ledesma and Antonio “AJ” Lopez, were fatally shot at a home in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side Sunday. The homeowner who shot them claims they were breaking in and the shootings were in self-defense.

From Albuquerque, New Mexico;

Angelo Martinez, 21, was seen hanging around a community center in Albuquerque on Aug. 11, when a group of men were playing football. As the men returned to their car, Martinez asked them for a ride. They obliged, but as they pulled up to an address Martinez provided, he pulled out a gun and demanded they give up the car, KOAT reported.

The men exited the vehicle but as Martinez tried to take control of the car, he dropped the gun and one of the men reached in and punched Martinez in the face. The other men joined in, and were able to restrain Martinez, KOAT reported. The men told police they found a knife and a fake gun on Martinez.

From Port Barre, Louisiana;

The suspect apparently crashed his vehicle in that area, and when it proved undriveable, he invaded a nearby home and kidnapped a man, forcing the man to drive him east on U.S. 190. Near Livonia, the two got into an argument, and the suspect shot at his victim, shooting out the truck’s window but missing the man. They pulled over at a convenience store, where the suspect allegedly went inside and robbed a clerk. He shot at the clerk, too, but again he missed, Joffrion said.

Police arrived at the store, and the man shot at them, again missing, and ran into a nearby neighborhood, where he again invaded a home, Joffrion said. This time he tried to sexually assault two women there, but a man hit him in the head and held him for police,
