IDF is gone; peace returns to Gaza [Jonn]
Well, if by peace you mean that Hamas goes back to murdering and torturing Palestinians (from the Jerusalem Post);
A Fatah official in Ramallah told the Post that at least 100 of his men had been killed or wounded as a result of the massive Hamas crackdown. Some had been brutally tortured, he added.
The official said that the perpetrators belonged to Hamas’s armed wing, Izaddin Kassam, and to the movement’s Internal Security Force.
According to the official, at least three of the detainees had their eyes put out by their interrogators, who accused them of providing Israel with wartime information about the location of Hamas militiamen and officials.
So any minute now, those protesters I saw last week in Lafayette Park will be back out in force with their ANSWER masters demanding that Hamas stop murdering Palestinians, right? Otherwise, they’d have to admit that they’re being hypocritical, and that’s not true is it?
JPost also reports that Iran is conducting an AAR on the gaza operation and wondering why they weren’t as successful in Gaza as they’d been in Lebanon a few years back;
Iran has renewed efforts to supply advanced weaponry to Hamas and the IDF is concerned that the terror group will try to smuggle long-range Fajr missiles into the Gaza Strip.
Iranian President Mahmoud…According to the latest intelligence assessments, Iran, which was responsible for writing Hamas’s military doctrine, has already launched an internal probe to determine how the plan it had created for Hamas failed to cause more IDF casualties.
Some numbnuts on YouTube as much as called me a liar because I’d written that those protests last week were pro-Iran. If Iran, Jordan, Syria are so interested in the welfare of Palestinians, why are they smuggling rockets and not food and medical supplies? And why isn’t the crowd here in the United States, who claim to be for peace and claim to be against war, outraged that Hamas is killing people because of their political affiliations and rearming for the next inevitable conflict?
And Hamas is celebrating their Pyrrhic victory over the Israeli Defense Forces.

“And why isn’t the crowd here in the United States, who claim to be for peace and claim to be against war, outraged that Hamas is killing people because of their political affiliations and rearming for the next inevitable conflict?”
The answer is contained in the question: political affiliations.
