I’m sorry, I’ve been looking for something to write about for hours, but stopping at the Washington Post just drained me. Tell me this isn’t fawning overload;

Even my cat, the Ron Paul supporter, threw up this morning.

The post does a daily tongue to colon cleansing on Hussein in hope of getting a bailout.

Blech!! If I hear the words “Peaceful transfer of power” or “Sea of humanity” anymore, I’m gonna have to have a shot to get me through.

I’ll have to break out the 180 proof Stroh’s Rum sittting in my cupboard aging nicely since Landstuhl, FRG,87.

I’ve managed to avoid the whole thing thus far, but think I know what you mean?

Everything that approaches being on point seems tinged with the sardonic.

Maybe a reminder of the the old saw about not saying anything if you can’t think of something good to say?

Maybe a discussion of how the term ‘phyrric victory’ applies to Obama’s election?

Or maybe the notion that the weather in DC help prevent even more outlandish displays of silliness?

OTOH, can our economy REALLY be in such bad shape if folks can spend $170 million on the inauguration?

Rats, that idea, too, is not very positive, is it?

If you think the WaPo was bad, you should have taken a look at the insanity on the two Chicago newspapers for the past week. I’m honestly surprised that the crash-landing managed to push Obama off the front page for a day.
